Flormar Makeup Haul

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are all doing great!! I cannot believe that KezziesCorner has been going on for 2 years now!! Thank you to everyone who has supported my blog and my Youtube channel. Without you all, KezziesCorner wouldn’t be here today!! So THANK YOU!!

This year is a slight challenge for me, as I am embarking with my studies in a Masters in Health Psychology at the University of Stirling! The challenge is, that I had to move away from home as the psychology system in Malta is not the best and abroad have finer qualifications than in Malta anyways!! So I am excited, scared and anxious haha about the year ahead, but KezziesCorner will still be regular!

Today’s blog post is all about a makeup haul of products from a brand called Flormar.

In Malta, I love how the makeup community is growing!! More brands are coming along and we even have our first BEAUTY BOX COMING SOON thanks to Plait!! So excited!! Yes, even though I am not in Malta, I am still going to keep myself updated with the makeup gossip happening there!!

Anyways here is the Flormar Makeup Haul video –

Anywho’s here were the products I mentioned in the video and what I bought –

With my purchase I also got these free sunglasses that I absolutely loved wearing!!

Flormar Round Cotton Pads €1.95

What can I say, I needed some cotton pads. I found these to be of good quality and were inexpensive.

Flormar Makeup Remover Wipes – €3.95

I found these to be soft and gentle on my skin. They removed my makeup easily and even my eyeliner and mascara were wiped away.

I love this bronzer, I think it is one of those essential bronzers one should carry for Summer. I found that it blended well on my skin and just created a natural, not so harsh bronzed look.

Flormar CC Cream in CC02 – Neutralises the redness like pimples, rashes, blotches to give a natural look – €11.95

I love this CC cream and it really does conceal the redness that you might be having on your skin. I really recommend this product.

Flormar Dramatic Volume Mascara – €11.95

I got this with me to Scotland and simply love using it. Yes it has a higher price then I usually spend on mascaras but I think that it is worth it! It just separates my lashes nicely and volumises them too!

Flormar New Age Matte Liquid Lipstick – in Carnation Red and Pretty Plum – €3.95

These Matte liquid lipsticks aren’t my favourite formula. From the two shades I love the Carnation Red one I think it just has a lovely gorgeous red shade!

Flormar Silky Matte Liquid Lipstick in Autumn Timber and Claret Red – €6.95

I love the formula of these lipsticks, they aren’t drying and last so long. They come in a variety of shades and Autumn Timber is my all new favourite shade for this season!

Flormar HD Invisible Cover Foundation – in Ivory – €12.95

I love love love this foundation. It isn’t heavy nor caky just sits nicely on the skin. It is a very medium sort of coverage but it is buildable. What’s bad is that it comes in a glass bottle so I wasn’t able to bring it with me to Scotland, I miss it so much!!

Vichy Dermablend 3D Correction Foundation – First Impressions

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all doing well and enjoying your Summer Vacation. I guess if you live in Australia it’s a different story!

Today I shall be writing away about a product that I have grown to love.

If you don’t know, I have acne prone skin and have been dealing with it ever since I hit puberty. I know that probably most of you out there reading my blog might have gone through that icky acne stage or are still going through it.

I still remain with acne scars and pores that are a little deep. Therefore, my skin ain’t perfect!  I have combination skin and I mostly get oily on my nose and my T zone. I also have sensitive skin and hints of redness especially near my nose. Sometimes I have a good skin day whilst other days I just have horrible ones.

Here is a photo of my skin before having applied anything. It has gotten so much better throughout the years and I have to thank Vichy for that. I had gone to a dermatologist and he suggested to try out Vichy Normaderm Deep Cleansing Purifying Gel. I started using it along with a skin cream called Skinoren and my skin has gotten better ever since.

I started trying out other products from Vichy and built my fresh skin routine. That will be for another post, but I just wanted to tell you that Vichy has helped me a lot with my skin issues.

Today’s post is all about the Vichy Dermablend 3D Correction Foundation. You can also watch my youtube video showing you exactly how the foundation applied –

I would like to thank Vichy Malta for giving me this opportunity to try out this foundation and share it with my  followers!

This foundation is high coverage and one does not need to apply a lot to end up with a great result. Literally, a pea size amount is enough for the entire face.

The texture is thick and besides correcting your skin’s imperfections it also improves the look of oily acne-prone skin.

It promotes that –

  • It provides immediate texture correction
  • Helps conceal spots and breakouts of acne
  • Reduces the appearance of redness
  • Leaves the skin looking clearer
  • Mattifies the skin for a natural finish
  • Has SPF 25
  • Recommended by dermatologists and used by makeup artists
  • Non-comedogenic, paraben free and hypoallergenic

My thoughts on this foundation –

I found that applying it with my fingertips was better than applying with the brush that Vichy Malta gifted me. (Please note that the brush isn’t sold however it is gifted) I also then went over my application with a beauty blender.

The foundation felt so refreshing and cooling on my skin as soon as I applied it. I found that it instantly covered my blemishes, redness and imperfections.

It felt nice and gentle on my skin, not tacky or cakey! It was completely matte and no shine was left on my skin.

I did notice that my enlarged pores showed more especially around my nose. Therefore, using a pore primer beforehand would help there.

It lasted throughout the day without the need to powder it again. I loved how it made my skin look and feel.

Besides it being a high coverage foundation, I also want to add and highlight that it includes salicylic acid and eperulin and these help soothe your skin and reduce the appearance of concerns.

I hope you enjoyed reading today’s post! Have you ever tried this product or any other product from VICHY? Comment down below !!
