And stay tuned as some time soon there will be another video/blog post testing out some new lipsticks!! So thank you BeautyBigBang!!

All products are at a cheap price and I also have a Discount Code you guys can use!! Simply enter KEZZ10 at checkout!!

You could also check out BeautyBigBang’s social media right here –

I have already done one other video testing out some of their metallic liquid lipsticks, you can check that video out by CLICKING HERE. (And a blog post on those products is RIGHT HERE).

Today’s products are not only lipsticks but I tried out Mermaid Brushes and an eyeshadow palette. Here were my thoughts on the products –

The Mermaid Brushes

IMG_1592

This is a set of 5 brushes, they retail for £5.34 and they look aesthetically so pretty! I love their unique shape and the bristles are soft and gentle! My favourite brush out of them all was the blending brush.

IMG_1588

I loved using that with the eyeshadows. The rest of the brushes are alright but I think I would simply prefer to just keep them on my vanity making it look even cuter with the brushes!!

The Eyeshadow Palette

IMG_1679

This palette comes with 40 different shades and retails for £6.10 only!! I think this is an ideal palette for those makeup lovers who are just going to start using makeup – perfect for beginners. They are slightly powdery and you would think that they are pigmented but once you are blending them with the brush the shade is sort of brushed off and you have to continuously go back and forth with them.

The eyeshadow look I created using this palette!

But hey at least you increase your blending skills!! I love the colour variety and with all of the shades you can create a number of different looks!! Also, there are 2 palettes you can choose from, I chose set 1 which is more natural whilst the other set has lots of colours!

The Matte Lipsticks

There are 10 different shades and they each retail for £3.35. There is a variety of lip colours that you can choose from – pinks, nudes. reds and purples. I got six shades of them and I absolutely love love the formula!

It is a matte formula and it just dries down so quickly!! It isn’t sticky or tacky and no problem is caused when trying to remove it! It also lasts long but obviously needs reapplication after eating! But I love this and I love the packaging they come in too!

Testing out NEW MUA COSMETICS!!

Hi everyone,

Boy I haven’t written here in a while. I miss it so much. I should be posting a couple of blog posts in the coming week. . . So STAY TUNED!!

I hope you all had a lovely Easter! Mine was spent in London with my mum so yes expect a Primark Haul soon!

Today’s video is all about some NEW MUA products that recently came out. I bought them a while ago and managed to film a video for you guys. This was my First Impressions of the products as before having filmed this video I never tried them out! I created this look with copper pink eyes and rosey dark pink lips.

I noticed that MUA have recently came out with some other NEW products! I am so wanting to get my hands on them and am so disappointed that I didn’t notice them in Superdrug while on holiday!!

Here are the products mentioned in the video and also a little written summary of my after thoughts –

Face Products –

IMG_8032

I love using this powder to set my overall foundation. Yes it is a little too powder-y but it does the job in setting all your face products and settling them down nicely. When taking pictures I find that my face doesn’t come looking as white as can be therefore there isn’t any flashback. I prefer however, using this only to set my under eye concealer rather than applying it all over my face.

Finally, this is a bargain as you get a lot of product for only £4!

This is the product I prefer to set my overall face products with rather than the fine loose setting powder. It doesn’t move my foundation all around and the blush, bronzer and highlight settle down nicely on this product. This is a great product and is very affordable at only £4!

I did not use this product on camera however I did use it after. Besides there only being half of the product in the tub it is an okay primer to start off your makeup look. It doesn’t make my skin red and helps in decreasing the look of my pores. It isn’t shiny as well!

However, again I did not like that the product came half empty and it was £5! I don’t think I would buy this product again!

  • MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighters –

I love these highlighters. I have others in my collection and would like to get the other new shades that they recently came out with as well (Peach Diamond, Ice Sparkle, Pearlescent Sheen) . They create a bright highlight across your cheekbone which can be seen a mile away. I love how they don’t emphasise any lines or pores on your skin but settle nicely on my face. I absolutely love these highlighters and they are also so affordable at £3 each!

From Left to Right – Rosewood Glimmer, Golden After Glow, Golden Scintillation

I showed the following shades in my video –
Golden After Glow  – literally a golden glimmer highlight!
Rosewood Glimmer – a rosey/pinky/pinkred, original highlight!
Golden Scintillation – a softer and lighter yellow golden glimmer highlight!

  • Illumination Highlight Kits

IMG_8037

MUA also released two illumination Highlight Kits. The first I totally dig as even though the highlights are quite light they still come up as very natural on my skin. The second kit I think is for those who have darker skin tone as some shades are more like a contour, bronze and dusky rose shade rather then a highlight for us fair kinda gals. But I think they would look amazing on those who darker skin tones and want a natural looking highlight!

The shades are powders and matte and can be layered together to create an effortless highlight. These palettes however are a little bit pricey for £6 but you do get 6 different shades so I guess a £1 for each!

Eye Products –

IMG_8028

This eyeshadow palette was so difficult to work with. The shades are all shimmer-y and are so difficult to pat onto your eyelid. I used that one ember shade all over my eyelid and I do not know how many times I had to go back and forth and add more product for me to be completely happy with the end result.

In the end I did get a good enough look however, I would not buy this palette again. I loved using the palest of shades to highlight with but that’s it! I guess for the price being £3.50 you really don’t get much from this product.

Lip Products –

  • MUA Velvet Lip Lacquers –

You all know how much I love these velvet lip lacquers! They were the first matte liquid lipsticks I ever bought and applied onto my lips! I love them, some colours are misses but some are amazing! I will be doing a separate video showing you lip swatches of each of these shades .. so STAY TUNED for that!

Panache  – Wine Red Shade
Curious –  Dark Purple Shade

Euphoria – Light Pink Shade
Elegance – Dark Rosey Pink Shade

Sizzle – Perfect Orange Red Shade
Gravity – Pink Nude Shade

Thank you so much for reading! I would love to hear your thoughts of these products. Have you ever tried them? Would you like to if you haven’t? Comment down below!!

Happy weekend!

I bought these items once the Spring 2016 collection opened on the MUA – MAKEUP ACADEMY online website!
