Malta Fashion Week – TRESemme Collaboration and final fashion shows – Suzana Peric, Nathan Micallef & Ritienne Żammit

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I attended the last set of shows at Malta Fashion Week. I really enjoyed going to these shows, getting dressed everyday, being in heels and basically all dolled up for an unforgettable evening!

Yesterday, I also collaborated with TRESemme Malta! I really would love to thank them for such an opportunity and for sharing with me some lovely products! Yesterday, I actually did my hair wavy for the evening.

TRESemme was actually one of the main sponsors of Malta Fashion Week and with the help of all the hair stylists, the models’ hair always looked on fleek! As was the makeup by all the makeup artists who took part!

The final fashion shows were –

Suzana Peric from Serbia presented Dancing in the Clouds.

IMG_9467

IMG_9479

There were lots of dresses in black and white. Some were in red too. Basically a lot of colour was going on during the show. However, each dress mostly had just the one chosen colour.

IMG_9477

IMG_9480

I loved the dresses, all were so flow-y and girly. Most of the dresses had floral patterns. All the models’ hair were put in a pony tail and the makeup was kept natural.

My favourite outfit of the show –

Nathan Micallef who is studying in London, presented us with a presentation entitled Really Not Real. All the pieces were so unique and the models came so close to the audience.

IMG_9485

IMG_9489

The colours were mostly grey and white and most of the pieces had the emblem of Nathan’s brand. Well done to Nathan for this unique presentation.

The final show was by Ritienne Żammit. She gave us a hint of Maltese in her outfits. She presented with I Love Valletta. I like how she interpreted her home country into her fashion style. Her designs and patterns on the dresses were so unique!

I would love to get my hands on this outfit – I think that even though it is sportive it just is so fashionable! I love it!

IMG_9522

The hair of the models were either in a short black bob or else some models were rocking space buns, such a trend right now! I loved their makeup too, so earthy.

Dinner Date – #OOTD

Hi everyone,

If you recall in my previous #OOTD blog post I wrote that I will be posting another OOTD Blog post … and so here it is!

20170513_193343

Last Saturday Luke and I went out to celebrate him having finished his dissertation. I am so proud of him … last step Luke!

Anyways, we went to eat at Suruchi in St Julians. It is this little Indian restaurant in Malta that hasn’t been opened for long. The food is lovely however, as the place was so small I got a little bit faint inside as I was feeling too hot. In fact, we ended up taking most of the food home.

On the day I was wearing  –

20170513_193316

Top – from Primark – It is a puffy pink nude top but what I like about it the most is that it has these bows tied near the elbow which makes it so unique. It also comes with puffy sleeves.

Jeans – from Bershka – My only white pair of jeans found in my closet. And they are also ripped at the knees and they are high waisted.

High Heels – from Main Street Fashion Wear in Rabat – I love these shoes – they are one of my faves but I hardly wear them. I took this occasion to do so! It’s peep toe and covered in a cute purple and green floral pattern.

20170513_193320(3)

Accessories – Earrings – Accessorize – I hardly ever wear big and dangly earrings but since I didn’t wear any necklaces and my top was all one colour I decided on wearing them.

20170513_193324(0)

20170513_193320

20170513_193322

And here is what we ate –

20170513_202000
Starter – some type of spicy chicken

20170513_203510
Tikka Masala
20170513_203823
Pilau rice with the Tikka Masala sauce and Naan bread

Do you like Indian? What will you be doing this weekend?

Thank you so much for reading!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Mother’s Day Lunch #OOTD

Hi everyone,

I haven’t done one of these posts in so long! However, this week keep your eye out for another post like this one!

I don’t do much of these because I tend to be the one taking most of my photos; if not Luke/ my brother/ my dad/ or my friends are the ones taking the photos whenever I am out with them!

So yesterday was Mother’s Day and my family and I went out for Sunday Lunch at the Blue Creek Restaurant in Għar Lapsi. So I took the opportunity and asked Aidan (my brother) and my dad to take some quick photos. And they did quite a good job!

The outfit I wore yesterday was all Pink and Spring themed even though the weather wasn’t anything but Spring like!

18552910_10211390762057410_1754566276_o

18553084_10211390762617424_1571314192_o

The Crop Top is from H&M. I love buying crop tops from them as one they are well priced but still of good quality. And two they fit nicely on me.

The Skirt is from Primark and besides it having a striped pattern it also has a pocket on the mid left side. It’s high waist and has a zip that goes all the way down.

The Shoes are also from Primark. I love the colour and the pattern of them. They are what I call the perfect Summer shoes you can have in any colour.

The Clutch Bag was a gift from a student of mine and I absolutely love it. I am a klutz when it comes to opening it as Luke knows how to open it more than I do but I still manage nonetheless. I find that you can fit your purse, a lipstick and some tissues in it and still have place for something small. I also love the gold chain it comes with, you can unhook it if you wish.

18519284_10211390929581598_492346685_o.jpg

The Choker is also from Primark and I love how delicate and shiny it is. The intricate design makes it even more beautiful. I loved pairing it with this outfit.

And while at the restaurant I also took some snaps of the lunch.

How did you spend Mother’s Day? No matter where your mum is, she’ll always be by your side! And mother’s day is every day because a mother is an amazing person who cares about her loved ones like no one else! She cares about us 24/7 a day therefore, we shouldn’t only be thankful to our mother on this very day but throughout the year.

I know I am, as I have a very wonderful mum who is simply amazing. Love you mum! xxx

Sunday Lunch & OOTD

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a great weekend!

Yesterday, I took some photos while at lunch at Ocean Basket in Qawra, Malta. So I thought I would write up a blog post. Haven’t done one of these in a while so it’s about time I did one!

Here is what I wore:

14801137_10209480731507840_1757490097_n

14805588_10209480729987802_1417205495_n

Dress – Petticoat Lane Market – Was only One Pound !!

Shoes – Maltese Outlet

Bag – River Island ❤

Yesterday was such a lovely day. Ocean Basket offers a range of sea food from sushi to cod to mussels. Basically anything fishy that you wish, they have it!

14805389_10209480730907825_1900049797_n

What impressed me most is that when I asked if they have gluten free bread they said YES. I was so delighted, as in Malta this is not apparent to all restaurants.

14797322_10209480731107830_1796969196_n

I ordered sushi of course. I got tuna maki rolls, salmon maki rolls and vegetable fashion sandwiches. By the end of it I was so full! But I of course had to take dessert, and as I cannot take any cake I opted for a vanilla ice cream.

Hope you enjoyed reading !!

Sunday Lunch & OOTD

Hi everyone,

Hope everyone is doing well.

Seeing that last week I really enjoyed writing up that post about my sushi evening, today I am going to be doing the same.

Earlier today, my family and I went out for lunch. This is a rare thing that we do, so when we do it, I really enjoy it. I only have one brother, so technically it was a small gathering consisting of myself, my brother, mum, dad and grandma.

Here is the outfit that I wore:

14075203_10208891716822841_1758658779_o14045429_10208891728263127_1039312480_o14087536_10208891729023146_603318210_o14114069_10208891730303178_1911362019_o

Dress: Boohoo

Sandals: Maltese Outlet

Off the shoulder bag: My grandma somehow made it

We went to Valetta Waterfront which is filled with a road full of restaurants. And let me tell you, you will find a variety of restaurants from Maltese cultured to Italian pizzeria’s to Chinese places.

14114488_10208891721542959_533472073_o

Today we decided on going to Bistro 516 as it has its very own Gluten Free menu which of course is perfect for me being Wheat and Egg free !!

This is very rare in Malta, however Malta is becoming aware of gluten free foods.

14045320_10208891718662887_866966930_o

14044914_10208891718102873_491288838_o

I took an angus beef burger with chips and salad. I chose this because there are very few restaurants that actually serve gluten free buns. The bread that they do is fresh and so good!!  My dad and brother took some pasta.

14074445_10208891717742864_678755594_o

For dessert I had a Chocolate Brownie which is also Gluten free! It tasted so delicious! I have been waiting so long for this brownie as last time we went there, by the time I ordered it they had none left! So I was so happy to had it at the table and I just devoured that brownie !! It was amazing!

I also did some pokehunting whilst I was there and caught a Magmar plus evolved a Tentacool into Tentacruel!! But then I ended up without any Pokeballs left!!

I hope you all had a lovely Sunday.
