May 2017 Makeup Favourites

Hi Makeup Lovers,

How are you all doing? June has arrived, and with June here Malta has gotten a lot of sun and a lot of heat.

IMG_9634

But since May has passed I thought why not do a blog post all about my May 2017 favourites. I have been trying out some of these products for a while now, some have been at me longer than others. But anyways, here we go …

#1 Benefit – The POREfessional Face Primer

IMG_9647

So as you know, I attended Fashion Week in Malta last week,  and this basically saved me! It is quite a heavy formula and very creamy but it does the job of hiding those yucky pores I so hate!

#2 Urban Decay – All Nighter Liquid Foundation

IMG_9646

Yes, this is quite a heavy foundation, but I really like how it sits and stays on my skin. It has a high coverage formula and just blends on nicely. I love applying this foundation with my Beauty Blender.

#3 NYX HD Photogenic Concealer

IMG_9644

I love this concealer and have it in 2 shades. The shade I had been using mostly in May was CW 04 – Beige. I love using this shade to cover up my blemishes and any redness I would be having!

#4 Rimmel – Match Perfection Loose Powder – Translucent

IMG_9645

I love using this powder to bake my under eye concealer. It just sets it so nicely and doesn’t get creased throughout the day. Mine has been at me for a few months now and the tub has gotten all messy! So maybe if this was in a better form of packaging I would love it even more!

#5 Anastasia Beverly Hills – Nicole Gurriero Glow Kit

IMG_9639IMG_9640

I love this highlighting palette, I had saved up for it and was so happy once it had arrived. It includes six gorgeous shades, and wouldn’t change it for anything. When I am going out for a special occasion I always whip this out! My favourite shades are Glo Getter and Day Dream.

#6 Violet Voss – Holy Grail Eyeshadow Palette

IMG_9641IMG_9642

This is the last makeup product I bought and for now will not be buying more… I hope. But I had been saving up for it for a while and I finally got it. I was either going to buy this one or the HUDA beauty one but decided for this one. The pigmentation of these shadows is amazing and they blend so nicely. I love the colour choice in this palette, you can create so many different looks!

However, I do have one sad thing to say – I thought the packaging would be more of high end quality, instead it is quite bulky and for the price you pay I was a little bit disappointed by the box.

#7 BH Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick – Glory

IMG_9648IMG_9650

This is the perfect red shade! I love it and I love the formula of the BH Cosmetics Liquid Lipsticks. They literally last all day and they won’t go anywhere! In fact when removing them I turn into a clown because they really just stay there on the lips!

#8 Urban Decay – All Nighter Setting Spray

IMG_9643

Last week I needed my makeup to not run anywhere, I needed it to remain the way when I finished doing my makeup. And this is the product to keep any makeup going somewhere! I love this, it doesn’t have a scent and it settles nicely on the skin!

Those were my May 2017 favourites!

Have you tried any of these products?

What were your May favourites? I would love to know!

Testing out Technic Makeup

Hi makeup lovers,

How are you all doing? Today’s blog post is all about my new video dedicated to an Animal Cruelty free makeup brand called Technic.

IMG_8863

It is a UK brand that sells a variety of makeup products at reasonable prices. I would like to thank Technic for giving this amazing opportunity to try out their products!!

You could find all of Technic’s products right here – http://www.lovethymakeup.com/products/technic/

IMG_8866

Products Mentioned –

Technic Strobe FX Cream Highlighting Cream -Sunkissed

IMG_8867

Now I have never used such a product, so this was a first to me. You could apply this both under your foundation for that glow-y effect or as you would apply any normal highlight powder on the highest regions of your cheeks to achieve such a highlight.

IMG_8875

It comes in a creamy formula that soaks into your skin quickly if applied before foundation. It does give my foundation look a more glow-y texture. And it blends easily if you apply it in the highlighted areas.

This is a very dainty highlight so don’t expect it to be so bam boom bam of a highlight if you know what I mean!

Technic Colour Max Baked Eyeshadows – Silverado

IMG_8870

IMG_8871

OMG! I love this simple cute palette. It comes in six different baked metallic eyeshadows. Mostly focusing on the grey/silver/blue/white shades. Therefore, you could easily create some smokey makeup looks with this palette.

IMG_8873

The pigmentation of these shadows is AMAZING! I mean they swatch well but when applied with a brush they are still amazing nonetheless. And I applied them both with MAC Fix plus and without.

18492985_10211381530226620_2133860712_o

They blend easily on the lid and stay on well after having applied a primer on the lid.

Technic Monster Lash Mascara

IMG_8868

I have never tried such a mascara with a spider looking wand at the end! It really separated my lashes ever so well! It didn’t volumise them so much however, it did give my lashes the additional length they needed.

IMG_8869

But I was impressed by how the spider looking edge of the wand is perfect to apply to the bottom lashes – it helps as it decreases the messy-ness.

Technic Get Gorgeous Highlighting Powder – Pink Sparkle

IMG_8878

IMG_8881

I don’t usually go for highlights which have glitter speckles in them. But this again is quite a dainty highlight – it comes out more than the Sunkissed Strobe FX cream but it still isn’t that va va voom highlight.

IMG_8880

I think I prefer the Strobing cream to this just because the Pink Sparkle highlighting powder contains those glitter speckles.

Technic Colour Max Lipstick – Kiss Catch

IMG_8876

Whilst filming the video I never found the name of the lipstick. And was so disappointed when I didn’t find a name for this lipstick as I love lipsticks with names! But with more searching I found it and the name of the lipstick is Kiss Catch.

IMG_8877

Now in the Technic Colour Max Lipstick Range you find a variety of shades and of sheer or matte formula. The one I got is a matte formula and I absolutely love it. It has a faint scent. But it applies so nicely and smoothly on the lips. It doesn’t last as much as I would want it to but it is so easy to reapply.

I also love the shade Kiss Catch – a lovely rosey everyday pink. I really recommend these lipsticks as they aren’t drying at all rather they are quite moisturising on the lips!

Have you ever tried any of these products? Or have you tried any products from Technic?

Collective Makeup Haul

Hi Makeup lovers,

How are you all doing today?

I simply had to come here and share with you all my latest video! This time it was all about the latest makeup products to my collection.

Now I purchased these all throughout autumn/winter so I did not purchase these all at one go!!

Here were the products I purchased –

MAC Retro Matte – Ruby Woo

A perfect red matte lipstick – love the red shade of this lipstick and it is one of the most popular shades of Mac lipsticks!
MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipstick – Topped with Brandy

MAC recently came out with new shades in their Retro Matte liquid lipstick line and I had to pick this shade! It’s a lovely a deep brown shade.
Purchased from Cult Beauty –
Pixi – It’s Judy Time Eyeshadow Palette

I love this eyeshadow palette. The shadows are very pigmented and last all day. They are also easy to blend.
NYX Strobe Genius Illumination Palette

I love this palette. I love the powder highlights and they have a lovely finish.
Purchased from NYX Malta –
NYX HD Photogenic Foundation

I tried this once and was a little disappointed as I had high hopes for this foundation! I thought it would have high coverage but it isn’t so. In my opinion it’s more of a foundation with medium coverage. Will try to test it out more.
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream – Stockholm & London

I love the formula of these lip creams. They don’t last long but they are so small so you can easily take them with you wherever you go to reapply.
NYX HD Photogenic Concealer – Fair

I love this concealer. It stays nicely on the under eye regions of the face and is long lasting. It also has a lovely finish and doesn’t crease when set well with the right powder!
Sleek – Precious Metals Highlighting Palette

I love this highlighting palettes. I love the cream highlight and just by using my fingertips I apply it to my highest parts of my cheekbones. It just have the perfect golden shimmer highlights!

Love the shade of this lipstick – such a gorgeous deep wine.
MUA – Velvet Lip Lacquer – Passion

This is a gorgeous coral peach shade – perfect for the summer season!
L’Oreal True Match Foundation

Ever since I tried this foundation I absolutely fell in love with. It is such a lovely foundation with buildable coverage! Lasts for a while but you will definitely need to retouch it after a couple of hours. It is also not heavy on the skin.
L’Oreal Color Caresse Shine Stain – Berry Persistent and Lilac Everafter

I don’t like these much – they are very patchy and sticky.
Golden Rose Lipstick – Shade 12

Have’t tried this out on the lips yet!
Catrice All Matt Plus Foundation

I haven’t tried this one out yet but when I do I will surely let you all know!
Catrice Liquid Camouflage Concealer – Porcelain

I have been loving this concealer! It sits well and doesn’t crease! However I prefer the NYX one over this.
Catrice Glow Mineral Highlighting Powder – Shade 10 Light Infusion

This is such a pretty highlight and you can work it out to be an intense one too!
Catrice All Matt Shine Control Powder

This powder works great and I can mattify my foundation and help it last longer. It has a lovely finish!
Purchased from Flormar Malta –
Flormar Matt Touch Foundation

I love this foundation – love that it has ingredients that also helps the skin! I love the finish of this foundation and it isn’t tacky either!
Flormar Loose Powder

This powder works well with the foundation from Flormar! It just sets everything so nicely and helps it last longer.
Flormar Ultra Black Eyeliner

I am embarrassed to say this but I haven’t tried this out yet.
Flormar Silk Matte Liquid Lipstick – Dark Violet and Fall Rose

I love these matte lipsticks – they honestly last long. They don’t have a strong scent to them but I love the finish look of these 2 lipsticks!
Purchased from Kiko (Rome) –
Kiko Universal Fit Hydrating Foundation

This is a great everyday natural foundation. It is a little sticky at first but do not worry it will settle down nicely!
Kiko 30 days extension night treatment booster

I haven’t tried this out yet!
Kiko Volume Attraction Mascara

I love the effect of these mascaras, they really lengthen and volumise my lashes!
Kiko Matte Lipstick – Shade 319 Velvet Passion

This I actually haven’t tried out yet!
Purchased from Wycon (Rome) –
Wycon Midnight Holiday Blush – Vintage Babe

OMG I love this blush. Besides the fact that it has amazing packaging, it also blends nicely on the skin! I love the two pink shades of the blush they blend nicely together.
Wycon Prime & Fine Powder

I love this powder, it was one of my monthly favourites of April. I just love the finished look it gives!
Wycon Champagne Party Lips – Monroe

This lipstick is goals – it just have a lovely red shade to it – the perfect signature to a Marilyn Monroe look.

Wycon Liquid Lipstick – Plum Call, All about Love and Wine Word

I love these lipsticks – they really last long and has a lovely finishing look!

(Sorry for the lack of pictures but you can view all the items in my video)

First Impressions on AVON – ‘Mark by Avon’

Hi there makeup lovers,

How are you all doing? It’s Sunday – the perfect day to blog a little. This week has totally been a jam packed week and today I literally have nothing planned but to remain at home and just have some quality time to myself. I truly believe we all need this once a week!

IMG_8667

Yesterday, I uploaded my weekly video on my Youtube Channel and so here I am to blog all about it and the products I have mentioned.

On the video I tried out the products for the first time. However, I have now tried the products a number of times and can share with you all some more information on the products.

Firstly, I would like to THANK AVON Malta for giving me a lovely opportunity to try out these products! So for you all Maltese reading this post, if you are interested in these products you may either have a look at their websitewww.avon.com.mt or ask for their catalogue which they can send through their local representative.

They could also provide a soft copy of the catalogue and they may send it through Facebook or Whatsapp or by email.  To order the products simply either get in touch with your Local AVON Representative or go directly to them.

IMG_8674

AVON recently released a new Makeup collection entitled ‘Mark by Avon’. The packaging of these products I truly am in love with. I love the font they used and the colour scheme too! I also love how AVON sent out all the products with a cute little tag describing the product! Even the cosmetic bag had one!

IMG_8668

The AVON mark Hanging Cosmetic Bag. I find that this bag is perfect for travelling and it can hold so many items and brushes – perfect for saving space in your suitcase!

The makeup products that I tried out were –

IMG_8739

  • AVON True – Ideal Flawless Matte Liquid Concealer (This isn’t in the new Mark Collection)

IMG_8735

This concealer is one that I have reached for throughout this week. I love how it is so soft and creamy yet it is a high coverage concealer! The packaging is so similar to the Colourpop lipsticks which is just so cute! You get a lot of product and the shade I have mine is in Fair. This is not one of the new products from the Mark collection. I like how it is easy to blend and love using it to conceal under my eyes. When it is set well it doesn’t crease and truly does last all day.

Out of the products this has to be one of my favourites and it also is one of my favourite concealers I have ever tried. I have also used it to cover blemishes and sun spots. (because yes I just got my first one and am so sad about it!!)

  • AVON mark – HD Finishing Powder

IMG_8732

This powder is a translucent finishing powder that settles nicely onto the skin. I have used it both for setting my under eye concealer‘baking’ – and also setting my entire face. I preferred using it just for setting my under eye concealer as I think it is too much to set my entire face with it.

IMG_8734

I love how it settled under my eyes and it also set my concealer nicely too! It blends well and doesn’t leave a white flashback when taking photos. It gives a lovely ‘flawless finish‘.

  • AVON True – Super Extend Precision Eyeliner

This again isn’t one of the products found in the new collection – Mark by Avon. I like how the line doesn’t come out streaky but the liner provides us with a pitch black line. The eyeliner itself is made in a way that you can take hold of it and have a solid grip without your hands shaking while creating the eyeliner look of your choice.

IMG_8723

However, after wearing this a couple of times and for an entire day I found that the liner transferred onto my eyelid and it also became so patchy. I would suggest to prime your eyes with a good eye primer and hope for the best.

  • AVON mark – Big and Daring Mascara

IMG_8726

IMG_8728

I love the wand of this mascara as it is short and curved – perfect shape to hit all of those lashes! It curls them so nicely however it doesn’t lengthen them as much! Therefore, this is more of a volumising mascara.

The mascara also separates the lashes nicely and doesn’t get them looking all clumpy.

  • AVON mark – The Bold Lipstick – Power Plum

IMG_8729

IMG_8730

IMG_8731

The packaging of this lipstick is adorable!! The lipstick is in a bullet shape and was easy to apply. It is quite lightweight and soft on the lips. It doesn’t have a scent whatsoever.

The shade I had mine was in Power Plum – which is a pinky/purple shade. It is a sheer formula lipstick and it doesn’t quite last long. Therefore, make sure to carry this in your purse if you are wearing it for a long amount of time!

  • AVON mark – The Makeup Prepping and Setting Spray

IMG_8719

This is my second favourite product out of all of these. I always forget this step when doing my makeup – that is the step of applying a setting spray. With this setting spray you can either use it before you apply any makeup or after. I personally prefer using a setting spray after as I like using a primer first.

This setting spray settles down nicely onto my skin and I don’t know if it’s the spray or the powder I use but I love how my makeup looks in the end after having used this spray. It tends to be a little sticky until it dries down completely however that stickiness decreases. The setting spray really does keep my makeup in place all throughout the day!

The makeup look I created using all these products

So those were the products that I wanted to write about today. What are your thoughts on these products? Have you ever tried them? Have you ever tried their other makeup products or skincare or anything AVON related? Make sure to comment down below!

Thank you so much for reading!

Happy Sunday!

April 2017 Favourites – Skincare, Hair products & Makeup

Hi beauty lovers,

How are you all doing? Hope you are having a great start to the week!

IMG_8611

Yesterday, I released a BONUS video up on my channel and it was all about my April Favourites; ranging from hair products, skincare and makeup!

My April 2017 Favourites –

IMG_8622

Tangle Teezer

I love using this to untie my knots that seem to love my hair! I love using in this show before applying conditioner and before rinsing it off. This helps my hair in not getting too tangled after coming out of the shower!

TRESemme’ Salon Sleek Frizz Control Smooth Memory Spray

I love using this before straightening my hair and to keep my hair from frizzing after having had a shower!

IMG_8618

Arad Facial Cleansing Milk

This has been my favourite product to use to remove my makeup! It literally takes off any makeup you could possibly use! It is so soft and gentle on the skin. You can click here to read an entire blog post all about this product!

Arad Mineral Facial Scrub

I have been using this in conjunction with my Vichy cleanser and have loved the combination. It really has helped my pores decrease in size and helped keep my face cleansed and clean. You can click here to read an entire blog post all about this product!

NYX Angel Veil Skin Perfecting Primer

IMG_8638

I have been using this primer constantly this month – as in April! It helps keep my makeup last longer and also helps create a nice base before applying other makeup products! It also helps decrease the look of pores!

L’Oreal True Match Super Blendable Foundation

IMG_8623

I have been wanting to buy this foundation for a while now and now having tried it I can say it was worth the wait and the money! I would say this a medium to full coverage – very buildable! I love how it sits on the skin – not cakey whatsoever!

Collection  Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer

IMG_8639

For the price it is amazing! One of my favourite concealers to highlight the bridge of my nose, my cupid’s bow and chin! And also to conceal under my eyes. It doesn’t crease and lasts all day!

Wycon Prime and Fine Powder

IMG_8640

This sets my foundation and concealer nicely. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin and the shade is perfect and blends well!

Milani Baked blush in Berry Amore

I love this blush – it’s like a mix of orange, pink and gold altogether! It has tiny glitter speckles which adds to the intensity and glimmer of this blush! I also love the packaging of the baked blushes by Milani!

Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer

I have been wanting this product ever since I saw Kathleen Lights rave about it so many times! I ordered mine off ebay! I forgot to say in the video that it has an intense summer smell that makes you excited for beach and summer days. It just creates a natural and bronzed look. It is very light weight and not that intense – my favourite!

Sleek Precious Metals Highlight Palette

The packaging is gorgeous and the highlights are amazing! My favourite shade is Antique Bronze which is a lovely gold cream highlight. Perfect for not pointing out your pores more as a powder highlight would!

Max Factor Natural Brow Styler

IMG_8636

I love this as it settles and tames my brows in place. It keeps them intact all throughout the day and dries clearly.

IMG_8634

Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara

This mascara has been an old favourite of mine. It just separates and lengthens my lashes nicely. It also doesn’t transfer on eyelids.

Essence Lash Princess Volume Mascara

Yes if you are doing a physical activity and you are wearing this – it may transfer on your eyelids. But it just lengthens and volumises the lashes ever so nicely!

Essence The Cushion Eyeliner

I had never used a cushion eyeliner before and let me just say this small pot really impressed me! It just creates a lovely intense black line!

Essence The Eyeliner Waterproof Pen

You can create a thick or bold line with this waterproof pen. It doesn’t move either! It is not patchy whatsoever although, as the day goes by it does become patchy and you might want to retouch it.

BH Cosmetics Illuminate by Ashley Tisdale- Beach Goddess Palette –

IMG_8616

This palette is just too cute. I love the shades they are all so natural and you can create different looks. My favourite shades from this palette are Fiji – a cream shade , Maui – a copper shade and St. Lucia – a bronze shade. The eyeshadows are also so pigmented and blend nicely together.

MUA Velvet Lip Lacquer – Sizzle

You know that I love these lipsticks! I also includes this shade in my Favourite Spring Lipsticks video and couldn’t resist but to include this in my April Favourites too! I love this shade – it is a beautiful orange/red shade! This one isn’t patchy whatsoever!

Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip – Point Zero

I know that this doesn’t look like a spring shade but I loved wearing it this month and found myself reaching it for it more than I thought I would. The wand isn’t my favourite, but once applied I love the shade on my lips. It is like a brown/nude shade and has a bit of a satin shimmer finish. This was one of the collaborations Kathleen Lights did with Colourpop.

Favourite TV Show – 13 Reasons Why

Oh my god – if you haven’t seen this you really should! It is a Netflix TV Show made up of 13 episodes – 13 reasons why Hannah did what she did! It is a different story from what you normally see but worth watching because these things actually do happen and we need to have our eyes opened more!

Favourite Movie – Beauty and the Beast

This is such a cute movie. I normally do not like movies which have songs in them like musicals do. But I didn’t mind the songs in this movie! The costumes and the hair was amazing and I love the little cutlery dancing around the objects being animate. Watching this movie also brought back childhood memories of when I used to see the cartoon movie on tape!

What were your favourites of April 2017? Have you tried any of the above products?

TESTING OUT bornprettystore.com Cosmetics + 10% Discount Code

Hi everyone,

Hope you are all having a LOVELY DAY!!

Today’s blog post is all about bornprettystore cosmetics. This is a website which sells a variety of products such as makeup, jewellery, mobile phone covers and other things! The shipping does take a while so be patient if you do order. However, the website is very user friendly and they have great customer service!

I am also sharing a 10% discount code you could use in checkout on all original priced items. The discount code is – KEZZH10.

18120569_10211197879715472_845397538_o

I would like to thank bornprettystore for giving me this opportunity of testing out 5 items. Here is me trying them out on video –

18110210_10211197879755473_983590763_o

Here is a further review on the products –
Fan Brush

18052359_10211197903556068_1863801926_o

I love this brush, it feels so soft on the skin. It also blends the highlight nicely on my skin. This is a great highlight brush on a budget.

Lip Balm

18111226_10211197901356013_276613983_o

I simply love the packaging of this lip balm it is just too cute! It simply refreshes the lips just a little bit but doesn’t really moisturise them all that well.

Matte Liquid Lipstick Shade Number 36

This may be a little dry on the lips even though I applied the moisturising lip balm which should have helped it to make it less dry. But ignoring that aside, it is a lovely matte lipstick.

The shade is a gorgeous dark plum and purple shade and it isn’t patchy. It is quite long lasting, just needs a retouch after eating!

Eyeshadow Palette Number 4

18110991_10211197902636045_236520547_o

There are better drugstore eyeshadow palettes out there. Even though I created a good enough look I still think it isn’t that worth it.

I also damped my eyeshadow flat brush to apply a shade all around my eye base which helped in enhancing the eyeshadow shade. The shadows are quite powdery and they aren’t that pigmented.

Fake Eyelashes

18083603_10211197901916027_1470136463_o

Now I am not a big fan of eye lashes simply because I am not that good at applying them! I applied these with my Ardell lash glue and the lashes applied nicely. They looked natural with my real lashes and I have used them multiple times since the video.

I really recommend these lashes however, they were a little bit too big for my eye shape but all you simply need to do is trim to your length.

Have you ever ordered from this website? Have you ever tried out any of these products? If so, then comment down below!

If not, what are your thoughts on this website and these products? I would love to hear from you guys!

Thank you so much for reading!

Testing out NEW MUA COSMETICS!!

Hi everyone,

Boy I haven’t written here in a while. I miss it so much. I should be posting a couple of blog posts in the coming week. . . So STAY TUNED!!

I hope you all had a lovely Easter! Mine was spent in London with my mum so yes expect a Primark Haul soon!

Today’s video is all about some NEW MUA products that recently came out. I bought them a while ago and managed to film a video for you guys. This was my First Impressions of the products as before having filmed this video I never tried them out! I created this look with copper pink eyes and rosey dark pink lips.

Screen Shot 2017-04-22 at 11.20.13

I noticed that MUA have recently came out with some other NEW products! I am so wanting to get my hands on them and am so disappointed that I didn’t notice them in Superdrug while on holiday!!

Here are the products mentioned in the video and also a little written summary of my after thoughts –

Face Products –

IMG_8031

IMG_8032

I love using this powder to set my overall foundation. Yes it is a little too powder-y but it does the job in setting all your face products and settling them down nicely. When taking pictures I find that my face doesn’t come looking as white as can be therefore there isn’t any flashback. I prefer however, using this only to set my under eye concealer rather than applying it all over my face.

Finally, this is a bargain as you get a lot of product for only £4!

This is the product I prefer to set my overall face products with rather than the fine loose setting powder. It doesn’t move my foundation all around and the blush, bronzer and highlight settle down nicely on this product. This is a great product and is very affordable at only £4!

I did not use this product on camera however I did use it after. Besides there only being half of the product in the tub it is an okay primer to start off your makeup look. It doesn’t make my skin red and helps in decreasing the look of my pores. It isn’t shiny as well!

However, again I did not like that the product came half empty and it was £5! I don’t think I would buy this product again!

  • MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighters –

I love these highlighters. I have others in my collection and would like to get the other new shades that they recently came out with as well (Peach Diamond, Ice Sparkle, Pearlescent Sheen) . They create a bright highlight across your cheekbone which can be seen a mile away. I love how they don’t emphasise any lines or pores on your skin but settle nicely on my face. I absolutely love these highlighters and they are also so affordable at £3 each!

Screen Shot 2017-04-22 at 11.20.05
From Left to Right – Rosewood Glimmer, Golden After Glow, Golden Scintillation

I showed the following shades in my video –
Golden After Glow  – literally a golden glimmer highlight!
Rosewood Glimmer – a rosey/pinky/pinkred, original highlight!
Golden Scintillation – a softer and lighter yellow golden glimmer highlight!

  • Illumination Highlight Kits

IMG_8037

MUA also released two illumination Highlight Kits. The first I totally dig as even though the highlights are quite light they still come up as very natural on my skin. The second kit I think is for those who have darker skin tone as some shades are more like a contour, bronze and dusky rose shade rather then a highlight for us fair kinda gals. But I think they would look amazing on those who darker skin tones and want a natural looking highlight!

The shades are powders and matte and can be layered together to create an effortless highlight. These palettes however are a little bit pricey for £6 but you do get 6 different shades so I guess a £1 for each!

MUA Luxe Radiant Illumination Highlight Kit 1

IMG_8036
MUA Luxe Radiant Illumination Highlight Kit 2

IMG_8035

Eye Products –

IMG_8028

This eyeshadow palette was so difficult to work with. The shades are all shimmer-y and are so difficult to pat onto your eyelid. I used that one ember shade all over my eyelid and I do not know how many times I had to go back and forth and add more product for me to be completely happy with the end result.

In the end I did get a good enough look however, I would not buy this palette again. I loved using the palest of shades to highlight with but that’s it! I guess for the price being £3.50 you really don’t get much from this product.

Lip Products –

  • MUA Velvet Lip Lacquers –

You all know how much I love these velvet lip lacquers! They were the first matte liquid lipsticks I ever bought and applied onto my lips! I love them, some colours are misses but some are amazing! I will be doing a separate video showing you lip swatches of each of these shades .. so STAY TUNED for that!

IMG_8029

From Left to Right –
Panache  – Wine Red Shade
Curious –  Dark Purple Shade

Euphoria – Light Pink Shade
Elegance – Dark Rosey Pink Shade
