Blogmas Day 13 – What I thought about Priseer…

Hi everyone,

I hope everyone is doing great!!

I am sorry that this blogmas day 13 is coming up a bit late but I still wanted to include this in my blogmas collection!!

This blog post is all about the online shopping website called Priseer, they also have an app that can be downloaded onto your phones, making shopping even easier!!

Priseer reminds me of Wish, Joom, Aliexpress and those sort of websites that have a variety of things ranging from wigs, jewellery, clothes, makeup and all these items are generally cheap!

So Priseer had reached out to me and told me to select some items to which I did and make a review about them. Even though these items were sent to me, please rest assure that I give out my honest review.

You can see me trying on these products on my latest video –

As you can see I had mixed feelings about the products. i loved the black wig, even though it isn’t like the photo that is being showed on the website. However, the quality of the hair is doesn’t look cheap. The other wig however, did not stay on well but the hair again was of good quality!

I loved the sunglasses I think they are very instagrammable. I got some earrings and I got one broken however, my dad repaired it. And the other earrings all came out well and I loved their look. The layered necklace I love however, I wish it came in a proper silver colour rather than like a silver white shade if you know what I mean. The thing I was disappointed the most with were the clothes, the red and white striped top did not fit anything like it showed in the photo and the monkey emoji top’s material wasn’t the nicest however, I have been enjoying wearing it to bed!

And those were my thoughts and my honest review on Priseer. I mean if you’re looking for cheap jewellery I would recommend it as it has a variety to choose from.

Have you ever tried products from Priseer? Let me know in the comments down below! Thank you so much for reading and for your awesome support!

Blogmas Day 2 – Cranberries & Chocolate Palette – Review

Hi everyone,

How are you all doing? Are you excited to see more of Blogmas? I thank everyone who has checked out Blogmas Day 1 already, and for those of you who are just joining me on Day 2 … WELCOME!!

Today’s blogmas is all about an eyeshadow palette I recently received in the I Heart Chocolate Vault from Makeup Revolution. I had done a video on this box, you can check it out RIGHT HERE. And basically, in this box you will find this palette. However, I now know that you can buy this palette separately too!

I have done a video showing you exactly how the palette tested out and what not, but since I am doing a blog post a day, I will include the videos I upload on my Youtube Channel as part and parcel of my Blogmas … you know what I am saying?

Also, my first XMAS giveaway went up on my fb page, you can check it out right here – https://www.facebook.com/KezziesCorner/posts/1136505859850828

My thoughts on the Cranberries and Chocolate Palette –

I love the packaging of the Chocolate palettes, and I love the shade this one comes in! I think it’s a very christmas-sy colour, so this palette is perfect for a blog post, don’t you agree? I also like how the shadows come with names and you get a great sized mirror!

The palette has a mixture of shimmers and mattes. It also has this gorgeous black shade called Rich which is perfect for that smokey eye. It also has this beautiful dark pink/berry shade called Wine which is a great shade for the crease and a berry look! Which is like the look I did in my video!

The matte shadows worked out well and are so pigmented and blend nicely even with each other. Yet the shimmer shades I had to work with them more. Number one I cannot use them without wetting my brush. Example Tasteful worked well all over the lid applying it with a flat brush which was wet. Yet gratification which is the white shimmer shade didn’t go on as pigmented as i would have hoped in my inner corner even though my brush was wet.

So I wish the shimmer shades worked out better but apart from that, I love this palette. It’s a perfect autumn/winter palette with a variety of brown, pink, shimmer shades and even a dark brown and black! And if you’re looking for an inexpensive palette to create a berry toned look or a brown toned too you can use this for those looks!!

The makeup look I created using this palette!

Here is my video if you would like to see how it tested out –

Thank you so much for reading!! Have you tried this palette out or are you interested in doing so? Let me know in the comments down below!!

Happy Blogmas Day 2!

Blogmas Day 1 – My thoughts on Cocoa Locks

Hi everyone,

I can imagine what you are all thinking, Kezia where have you gone?

Well that’s a good question! Since my last blog post, I started a new JOB and I GRADUATED in Scotland … so yeah I am quite busy and getting back into my routine after coming back from abroad! I am so happy to have a routine again as I don’t work well without one!

If you have been following my blog, you know that during the month of December I do Blogmas, and this year isn’t any different.

Now I may not be starting off Blogmas with a very non-chrirstmas related blog post however, this is something you might want to try out during these winter cold months that are upcoming. So technically It makes sense of including it in my Blogmas!

Cocoa Locks is a brand that has these miracle worker products for healthier hair. They offer a hot chocolate or milkshake and have free worldwide shipping. I personally never had heard of a hot chocolate that would help your hair, even when I told my friends they couldn’t believe it. Nonetheless, I was eager to try it out especially with all the positives that they stated to have which are –

  • It is formulated for fuller and longer hair
  • It is said that it is more powerful and effective than vitamins or gummies
  • It should help reduce the chances of damaged, broken hair and help achieve healthier hair from within.
  • Even though you are drinking hot chocolate, it is made up of low calories, low fat – only 26 calories a mug.
  • It tastes great and contains healthy ingredients such as Zinc and Biotin which have been clinically proven to achieve longer hair.

Therefore, this hot chocolate formula repairs, rebuilds, helps with growth and strengthens your hair. “It is infused with essential hair vitamins & minerals to ensure that you can achieve that celebrity shine with just one Hot Chocolate a day!”

Cocoa Locks contains healthy ingredients –

  • BIOTIN & SELENIUM – Promotes the growth of hair to ensure that new and existing hair are growing at a healthy rate
  • SELENIUM, ZINC, FOLIC ACID – Improves all round condition of the hair by repairing damage caused by external factors and stimulates new hair to grow.
  • BIOTIN – Increases hair production, which creates fuller hair with more volume… say goodbye to flat, lifeless hair.
  • ZINC & SELENIUM – Thinning, loss of hair are often due to less zinc or selenium in your system, and cocoa locks includes them to make sure your daily needs are met!

My thoughts …

Well I love the idea of a hot chocolate helping my hair grow and be healthy. It’s quite easy to prepare, I like taking it with some heated milk and mix it with two tablespoons of cocoa locks and then leave it cool down a little! I love the taste of it, it’s not too thick and not too chocolate-y but just right!! Even though I love the idea, I kind of forget to take one per day though. I like that during the winter you have your warm drink sorted but I don’t find myself taking it everyday!

As for results, I have taken it approximately 15 times in the last month and I do notice that my hair is less lifeless, stronger and longer. I did go and trim it and applied colour in the before and after photos.I don’t understand in hair much, but I do like how my hair styles now and it\s easier to brush through. I guess if you don’t like taking vitamins, this could be an alternative and what\s a bonus is that for winter you have a warm hot chocolate and for summer you can choose to have a cool milkshake, as they have the milkshake version too!!

Before/After

What do you guys think? Are you interested in trying this out for yourselves? Or have you already tried it out? Let me know your answers in the comments down below!! Thank you all so much for reading and I appreciate all your support! I hope that you are excited for my Blogmas this year!! Also, please be sure to check out my FB page where I will be hosting Christmas Giveaways throughout December!! Love you all!!

My thoughts on Korres’ Wild Rose & Super Vitamin C Skincare Products

Hi everyone,

I haven’t written a blog post in a while and I miss writing on here. However, I have been regularly posting on my other social media sites such as my Instagram, Facebook and Youtube. So if you miss me and do not know that I have these channels too, would love it if you could support me there too!

Today’s blog post is about some products I received while attending a launch hosted by Korres Malta. It was the cutest decorated launch I had ever attended, hosted at VIlla Arrigo. I met some other talented people and we all enjoyed a lovely presentation by Stephanie Briffa who is the brand manager of Korres here in Malta. Korres have recently landed in Malta and can be found at Remedies pharmacies in Ta’ Xbiex, Birkirkara, Mellieħa, Sliema (OPENING SOON) and Siggiewi. As well as from Central Pharmacy in Rabat and St.Andrew’s Pharmacy in Swieqi.

We were given a back story of the brand and how it came to be developed and then we were introduced to the new collection – the Wild Rose Collection. Wild Rose oil offers antioxidant, moisturising and softening properties. And in combination with Vitamin C, helps repair fine lines and pigmentation while improving the overall texture of the skin.

IMG_6850

I am so grateful to have been invited to an event and then to also receive three of there products from their Wild Rose Collection! And since the event I have adopted these products into my skincare routine and have so far used them for 2 weeks. And now here I am writing a blog post on how I felt these products have helped my skin since I started using them!

I love the packaging on all three products, it is just so beautiful, luxurious and I like how they look in my bathroom.

Brightening & First Wrinkles Day Cream – Normal/Combination skin –

IMG_6854

First off I would like to say that besides this cream product coming out for normal to combination skin, they also have one for oily skin or dry skin. I LOVE the smell of this day cream, it just smells so lovely and is nice to use early in the morning as you are about to start off your day.

IMG_6853

I apply this after having moisturised and I only use it in the morning (Apparently this is a moisturiser in itself so yeah you don’t have to moisturise before using this product). It offers 24 hour hydration, brightening and first wrinkles. It has a water cream texture that blends nicely into the skin.  This cream besides containing Wild Rose oil, also has Vitamin C, turmeric extract and hyaluronic acid which helps improve the signs of premature ageing and evens skin tone to reveal smoother, younger looking skin.

Brightening & First Wrinkles Advanced Repair Sleeping Facial –

IMG_6851

I use this everyday at night and again after having moisturised. It’s a lightweight cream that offers hydration and helps even skin tone with its corn powder that helps to absorb oiliness which results into a nice matte finish.

IMG_6852

This is a sleeping face mask sort of that helps your skin be brighter by morning.

15% Vitamin C Advanced Brightening Bi-phase Booster –

IMG_6857

I use this everyday in the morning and evening before moisturising and I apply 3 drops – 2 on either cheek and one on my forehead and rub it in. It is an intensive brightening and anti-fatigue skin care product that has a potent 15% Super Vitamin C brightening bi-phase booster to improve the appearance of first wrinkles, dark spots and dullness. The Vitamin C and Wild Rose oil helps in reducing signs of premature ageing and fatigue to reveal spotless skin.

Research showed that 94% of women who used this for 7 days claimed that they noticed improved skin’s overall appearance.

My thoughts ….

So I have combination skin and sensitive skin. These products did not cause any breakouts nor were there any bad reactions from having used them.  As I wrote, I have only used them for 2 weeks and have not missed a day where I didn’t use all three of them.

IMG_6866
Not Edited

I do find my skin to have gotten softer and brighter and in the mornings after having added these products in my routine. I noticed how the Brightening & First Wrinkles Advanced Repair Sleeping Facial, resulted to waking up with less dull looking skin. I think the most noticeable thing I also have noted is how smooth my skin always feels now which is a super positive from me.

IMG_6858
Not Edited

As you can see when taking the photo i had quite a large spot and this is completely due to the fact that it’s my time of the month next week and I always notice a spot or two as that time approaches! But other than that annoying spot, I haven’t had much breakouts which I am super happy about! I hope that as I continue using it, it only will keep my skin smooth and soft. The issue with my skin that annoys me the most are my acne scars but these products are not associated with helping them and am still on the hunt with something to help decrease my scars! (If you know of anything please do leave me your replies in the comments down below!!)

So overall, do I recommend these products? If you are looking for products to help your skin be healthier, smoother, softer and brighter then yes I recommend them! For me, these were the results I noticed!

Have you guys ever tried out skincare products from Korres? Let me know in the comments down below!!

I hope you enjoyed my post, thank you so much for reading and for your support!!

Until next time,

My thoughts on Sudio.com Earphones!

Hi everyone!!

How are you all doing? I hope everyone is having an amazing week!!

IMG_20181016_165538_135

Today I am bringing you a blog post all about Sudio! Sudio is a company that sells a variety of earphones! I am not that person who understands in earphones but I can say that from now on if I or anybody I know is looking for a pair of new earphones, I will definitely recommend Sudio!

Sudio are a Swedish company which provide products with good sound! There are several earphone styles with different names likes – Nivå, Regent, Klar, Tre, Vasa Blå and some others! They not only come in these different styles but also provide us with a cute colour range for everyone! You can visit – https://www.sudio.com – to view all their styles and get more information!

I am so grateful to Sudio for allowing me to collaborate with them a few times and I wanted to come here and give you my thoughts on three of their styles! Sudio have also provided me with a discount code for you guys! Simply enter ‘KezziesCorner” and get 15% off your order from www.sudio.com!

20181010_121923

Their postage is fast and their packaging is so well done! I always love how they arrive! Also, at the moment they have an offer that with every purchase they are giving away 4 coasters which are aesthetically pleasing! They also have FREE WORLDWIDE shipping!

All earphones are so easy to use and connect in the same way. You will always find three buttons, 2 for playback or sound adjustment and the one in the middle you press and hold until the button starts flashing blue which means it’s on and red it is ready to connect! They also turn off when not being used!

Here are the ones I have tried out –

Sudio Vasa Blà in Rose Gold White

Screen Shot 2018-10-16 at 17.00.08

I love the colour these come in and I never owned wireless headphones with a microphone in them! I found this so amazing and out of this world haha … yes I am a little late to the party! The microphone is really good and the sound quality for me is great! They also connect to your phone or laptop through bluetooth, and like all Sudio’s earphones are compatible with iOS and Android! They also are so good to use whilst exercising!

I find these comfortable to wear and they last long after being charged! These come in 4 other colours however, at the moment they only have the rose gold black and blue in stock apart from the rose gold white! I also love that they come with the cutest case to keep them in!

Sudio Nivå in Black

20181010_122059

These are unlike any other earphones I have tried! They have a charging pack which you put them inside to charge! You instead charge the charging pack rather than charge the earphones themselves! These come in 3 other shades however, white and pastel pink besides the black ones are the one in stock at the moment!

IMG_20181016_110732_703

These also come with a microphone! I know right, fascinating!! I find them comfortable, however, I am constantly worried they will fall out! I actually passed these on to my boyfriend who is in love with them!

Regent White

Screen Shot 2018-10-16 at 16.59.55

These are my favourites and they are my babies! I use them to edit my videos and listen to music! I just love them! They are wireless, they are so sleek and cute in photos and they also come in black! There ear padding is so comfortable and they aren’t heavy and can adjust to your wanting. They have a play time of 24 hours plus so that’s perfect means that they don’t need a lot of charging!

IMG_20181016_165535_533

They also come with interchangeable caps and one of them is the colour of the headphones and the other is in marble which I love!! There sound is amazing and microphone works so well!! I love them!!

New Products from Essence Cosmetics – Autumn 2018!

Hi everyone,

How are you all doing? This is my last post to be written as a 24 year old. This is crazy cos I still don’t feel 24, let alone feel as though I am turning 25 …. I dunno!

Today’s blog post is all about some new products coming out/have come out by now this Autumn 2018 from Essence Cosmetics. If you are Maltese like me you can find essence products in stands in pharmacies and in supermarkets such as Pavi, Pama, Savemart and the list goes on. You can find the list right here on their facebook page!

I would like to thank Essence Cosmetics and Pharma Mt for these products!

I tested out these products on my latest youtube video, which you watch right here –

The products which were new are these –

IMG_5672

Prime and Studio Mattifying + Pore minimising primer with black clay

I love this primer! I never tried a primer before which had black clay in it, but I enjoyed the formula of this primer as it created a great base to my foundation! It did minimise the appearance of my pores which I was all for!!

#Instaperfect foundation

IMG_5679

I love this foundation’s coverage! It has amazing full coverage and it hides away redness and blemishes! You can clearly see in my video how it hid one of my spots! The only thing I don’t like about this foundation is its packaging, like why does it come like that? A pump would have been more ideal and even the size of it is odd as you don’t get much product.

Camouflage+ matt concealer

I love essence concealers and again this one was a thumbs up from me! I loved its coverage, it has very full coverage as it can also cover tattoos! I love the applicator and it blends nicely!

IMG_5681

These 3 products that I just mentioned work well together and they are a perfect trio!!

Too Glam to Give A Damn eyeshadow Palette

IMG_5676

Ok so the palette is cute. Some shades I like, like the big highlight shade, it is so pigmented and I loved it mostly for an inner corner highlight. The matte shades worked well however, I had a slight issue with the dark purple shade. It kind of blended into nothing.

Melted chrome eyeshadow in Steel the look

IMG_5684

I loved this melted chrome eyeshadow!! It is so pigmented and applied on the lid omg you can see how pigmented it is from me applying it in my video!! It just applies well and adds a lovely pop to your makeup look!

Need a miracle volumising and strengthening mascara

IMG_5685

Ok so if you have been following me for a while you would know, I Love mascaras from essence and this did not fail my high expectations! I loved it, the wand worked well and it separated my lashes and volumised them! This is probably gonna be a fave of mine to use this autumn!

Go for the glow highlighter palette

IMG_5677

This is a cute packaged palette and it comes in a mirror with three shades. Personally, I wouldn’t use all three shades, I would just use the lighter one. As for the other two I guess you could use them as blush and bronzer but since they are shimmer products I fear that they would increase the appearance of texture in the skin and that’s why I prefer using matte bronzers and blushers. But the light shade works as a nice subtle highlight and you can intensify the glow by applying fixing spray and then applying the highlight while your face is still drying!!

New Lippies!!

IMG_5678

Melted chrome liquid lipstick in copper dropper

This lipstick is a cute copper metallic shade. It applied so nicely on the lips and it is so pigmented and not patchy! I love my matte lipsticks, but might add this on top of  a matte lipstick in the middle as I don’t often use metallic lipsticks on their own!

Colour boost mad about matte liquid in Mad matters

I LOVE this formula and this shade! I want all the colours from this collection!! The applicator and packaging is amazing and it is not patchy or drying and dries down so fast!! I love it and this shade screams autumn to me!!

Velvet Matte Lipstick – Shade 06

I love this shade and formula too, it is a velvet matte! I love this shade too!!

IMG_5682

Glitter on Glitter off Peel off nail polish in dazzle dazzle

I love this peel off glitter nail polish, I wish they did peel off nail polishes for all the colours because the removal is so easy! I appreciate they did it with glitter, cos usually when using a glitter nail polish it is just so annoying to take off that you end up with glitter for more than a week since you had removed it!!

Cosmic lights nail polish in Welcome to the universe

I loved this shade, a pretty silver. It kind of chipped quicker than the peel off but I loved it still!

IMG_5623
And this was the look I created using these products!

And those were the new products from Essence that I wanted to talk to you about! Have you tried any of these? Do you want to try any? Let me know in the comments down below!!

Thank you so much for reading and for supporting my blog, I really appreciate it!!

Until next time,

The Charcoal Magnet Mask from Biovène Barcelona

Hi everyone,

How are you doing all? I hope you are all having a fantastic week! And I wish you all an amazing weekend!!

Today’s blog post is all about the Charcoal Magnet Mask from Biovène Barcelona. I reviewed this mask on my Youtube Channel and you can see me apply the mask and remove it!

A little bit about the Mask …

IMG_5578

It is a natural, anti-aging and rejuvenating mask that consists of iron magnetic particles, activated charcoal and a mixture of oils for a smooth, firm and radiant complexion.

The mask comes with a spatula to apply the face mask and not have to mess up your hands! And it comes with a magnet and magnet wraps to remove the mask.

It is 99% natural and suitable for all skin types!

Check out Biovène Barcelona’s website to get more information on the mask by CLICKING HERE and it retails for €25!

What should it do?

IMG_5582

It helps in making the skin look radiant, leaving it tighter and more lifted.

It helps in giving the skin a toned and youthful look and helps remove impurities.

It also helps the skin become more purified, detoxified and gives vitality to the skin!

It helps in leaving the skin softer, re-energized and revitalized while also smoothing it out!

Finally it also gives out a more glowing complexion, and helps moisturise and hydrate the skin!

How to use …

IMG_5581

After cleansing your face, use the spatula to apply a thin layer of the mask on your face avoiding the eye are and leave it on for 10 minutes.

Hold the magnet and wrap the sheets around the magnet. Then run it near the surface of the skin but do not press the magnet onto the skin. The magnet is powerful enough to grab the mask from the skin without being pressed on the skin!

After the mask is completely removed, rub out the remainder to infuse the ingredients into the skin and then apply your moisturiser.

My thoughts …

IMG_5501

Ok so I was so excited to try out this mask because of its concept .. I mean a magnet that removes a mask is fun in itself!!

The application was not so bad, however, the spatula sometimes was removing pieces of the mask that I already had applied on my skin. Though applying this with your fingers is way more messier, therefore, better to just use the spatula.

I noticed that the removal of it gets better with every application. The first time I used the sheets with the magnet to remove the mask, things got messy. But then I found that whenever I had to move a sheet which had already pieces of mask that had been removed, I throw those bits away then attach it to the magnet again. Because when mask pieces get stuck on the magnet, it is a little bit of a hassle to remove!

Overall, I loved how this mask left my face! It was softer, smoother and it was glowing! My pores decreased in appearance and the mask did not irritate my skin whatsoever!

IMG_5579
These are some other masks that Biovène so kindly sent me! I will be trying them out soon!!

I would like to thank Biovène Barcelona once again for collaborating with me and giving me this lovely opportunity to try out their mask!!

Thank YOU guys for reading and for supporting my blog, and I will see you all in my next blog post!!

My thoughts on Pepsi & Mentos Lip Balms …

Hi everyone,

I know it has been a while since I uploaded a post on this website but just in case you aren’t following my FACEBOOK/INSTAGRAM, I just finished my dissertation and returned back to Stirling for a little to hand it in. Now that that’s handed in, I can focus again on KezziesCorner whilst looking for a job!! I hope you are all doing well and I have missed you all!

40330217_649724012087933_8696078485313028096_n

Today’s blog post is about some lip balms that Brandnation sent to me from Amber House. I got to try out lip balms from Pepsi and Mentos! Now that the summer months are soon coming to an end, my lips will start drying up more than usual, therefore, having a lip balm everywhere I go is essential!

40366056_535504430236602_392673084458401792_n

Here’s the Pepsi lip balm which to be honest I struggled to figure out how to open it, only when I did, I found myself to shake my head at my silly-ness for not figuring it out earlier haha !! The scent is a direct Pepsi one and it feels comfortable to have on your lips ! If you love Pepsi then I would recommend this lip balm!!

Mentos also have their very own lip balms and I got to try out the Strawberry and Mint Flavours. These lip balms are not only delicious as they are the exact replica of their flavours scents but are also moisturising. I love the strawberry one and is a must have in my bag!

Hope you enjoyed this flavourful blog post! Have you ever tried these flavoured lip balms? Comment down below and thank you so much for reading my post!

Thank you once again to Brandnation and Amber House!

See you guys in my next blog post!

Testing out Born Pretty Store products – Review

Hi Lovelies,

How are we all doing? Hope you’re all having a lovely week!!

Today’s blog post is all about Born Pretty Store which is a website that sells a variety of makeup products at an amazing price range! I also have a 10% DISCOUNT CODE you could use at checkout!! Simply enter KEZZH10 and you will get 10% off your order on all original priced items.

The Products I tested out were –

IMG_5304.jpg

#1 BONNIE CHOICE Magnetic False Eyelashes – Pattern KS093

So these were the second pair of magnetic false eyelashes that I have ever tried and well I know you need patience with such items however, these I couldn’t get them to stay on properly!

This could be because my eye shape is slightly smaller and so they were larger than my actual eye. And unlike false eyelashes where you can trim them to fit your eye shape, with magnetic lashes you technically cannot because if you trim off one end, you’re essentially trimming of one of the magnets! Sorry, that sentence was long but it needed to be! In the end I just gave up and ditched these lashes!

Now I am not saying they aren’t good lashes, but for me they didn’t fit well. The quality of them is good however, the ones I tried from Iris Beauty were slightly more comfortable than these, these felt heavier! They retail for $3.99 and come in different styles!

#2 BONNIE CHOICE Rose Gold False Eyelash Tweezer

I love these tweezers and I love the colour – Rose Gold, a favourite colour of mine! They grip the lashes so well and they make it easier to apply false lashes!

Honestly, I found this tool as a saviour and a helper to applying false lashes. And it’s only $2.99, such a bargain!!!

#3 BONNIE CHOICE Matte Liquid Lipstick in Screen Siren

The packaging of this lipstick is so cute and sleek! It is a pigmented matte lipstick, that applies well and is not patchy!! At the moment, it retails for $3.59 and there are 8 different shades!!

The lipstick also is long lasting and isn’t sticky or dry even though it is a matte lipstick!!

Overall, I would recommend the rose gold tweezers and the lipstick! And if you are feeling adventurous you should give those magnetic lashes a try!!

Also, here is a video showing the products in action on IGTV on my Instagram Page-

https://www.instagram.com/tv/Blslw_KDdFf/

What do you guys think of the products? Have you ever ordered from Born Pretty Store? Let me know in the comments down below!

Thank you all so much for reading and supporting my blog!!

The Antiox Facial Plan – Freshly Cosmetics – Review

Hi everyone,

Hope you are all doing well. I am hoping to come out with 3 NEW blog posts this week! So stay tuned and make sure to be following my blog to get notification emails of when I post a new blog post!!

IMG_4904

Today’s blog post is all about a brand called Freshly Cosmetics. They recently released their brand in the UK and they have lots of skincare goodies for you to try out! I got the opportunity to test out something from them and I received the Antiox Facial Plan. I am so grateful for this opportunity and I would like to thank Freshly Cosmetics so much!

I just would like to say that I love the packaging from how it was sent to the packaging of the products themselves!

IMG_4909

The Antiox Facial Plan is made up of a –

  1. Fresh Green Micellar Water
  2. Purifying Facial Toner
  3. Multi-Antioxidant Concentrate Serum
  4. Multi-Antioxidant Facial Moisturiser

I have been trying it out for 2 weeks and am happy with the results. Though, I have some good and bad notes to write about this plan.

What I like about it is that it is a 4 simple step plan which basically cleans, purifies and moisturises your skin. The products are made in a way which are simply and easy to use.

IMG_4896

#1 You first would start with the Fresh Green Micellar Water and I simply get a round cotton pad and apply it all over my face. You could also spray it throughout the day on your face, to freshen up your skin!

This product helps hydrate your skin and interestingly contains an anti-stress extract, so for those going through their final exams at uni maybe this would help you and your skin relax!

The thing I don’t like about it is the scent, it’s just such a strong scent and to smell it in the morning, it’s just too much.

#2 Then you would use the Purifying Facial Tonic which again has a strong scent but not as much as the Micellar Water. Again I apply this with a cotton pad. I guess yes you would need some cotton pads for this Antiox Facial Plan!

This product helps hydrate, refresh and get rid of dust accumulated through the air. It simply helps remove the impurities and honestly I do feel my skin to be cleaner and softer after using this product. However, I noticed that it did make my skin feel a little sticky but I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing.

#3 The next product is something I never incorporated in my skincare routine and it is a Multi-Antioxidant Concentrate Serum. I loved applying this, reminded me of being in Science class and having a pipette! Just love that word!

I loved this, it brightened my skin and it gave it a glow! This serum helps to reduce, repair and prevent signs of ageing.

#4 The final product that you would use in this plan is the Multi-Antioxidant Facial Moisturiser. This can be easily applied evenly on your skin and you have to wait a minute or two so that the serum sets and absorbs before applying the moisturiser.

This moisturiser is a hydrating face cream that has antioxidants which helps hydrate your skin and again reduces skin stress.

This plan helps freshen, purifies and balances skin’s pH with lime, burdock and camomile extracts. Believe me the lime is noticeable. It helps with hydration and also includes vegan hyaluronic acid. It is dermatologically tested and suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin.

My final thoughts …

I noticed my skin to be brighter, fresher and had a lovely natural glow to it. However, I also noticed that as I was using these products both in the morning and in the evening, it was making my skin red. Therefore, I might have been having a reaction and so I only completed this plan for two weeks because it was too heavy for my skin and I have combination and sensitive skin.

I am now just using the serum as that was my favourite product from the entire plan and I am using it with my usual everyday skin routine.

So that was my review on this Antiox Facial Plan from Freshly Cosmetics. You can visit their website where they have more plans and information. If you subscribe you can get 15% off your order!

They post to a lot of different countries. To my fellow Maltese followers, unfortunately they do not ship to Malta however, they do ship to England so you could use Send On or other ship it to services!

Again, I would like to thank Freshly Cosmetics for these lovely products!

What do you think of the products? Are you interested in trying out such a plan? Have you ever tried out any product from this brand? Let me know in the comments down below!!
