I hope you are doing well. I have not written a blog in a LONG time, and I apologise for that. I guess I was giving more importance to my other social media platforms, as well as my Youtube Channel.
I will try to also use this outlet as form of reaching you all!! I will try and write out a new blog post weekly, every Friday. So be sure to be following my blog, so you can get notifications of when I create new content!!
Anyways, as you know September is already half way through which means that October is round the corner. And we all know what comes in October .. precisely at the end of October ……. HALLOWEEN. Now being from Malta, and being the age I am, when I was younger there was not a lot of Halloween Buzz, so we can call it. I think throughout my childhood, I went trick or treating ….. once. Apparently, we were not so welcomed into knowing on doors and receiving candy rather we would have been yelled at to run away!
But, looking at Halloween now it has come a long way and trick or treating is more accepted … what sucks is that now I think I am too old to go trick or treating …. oh well. So then at my age I guess I would go to a halloween party or a haunted ghost tour. Maybe I should try one of these out considering the fact that I never did one of these two things … see halloween for me would be sitting at home and watching a scary movie with a good takeaway … now that’s a great Halloween.
But anyways if I do decide to go out here is a wishlist of cute dresses and outfits that you could wear this Halloween, if you aren’t technically going to dress up in a haunting costume but rather let’s call it a cute outfit which is Halloween themed!
Now you all know how much I love cats, so be aware that there’s going to be a bit of cats in this post!! This dress is so cute because it does not only include cats but also pumpkins and halloween related things. It retails for € 20.99 and it would be a cute dress to wear for Halloween with some black tights and black combat boots!
I hope everyone is doing great! It’s official, Malta Fashion Week 2019 is OVER! Yesterday there were the fashion week awards – congratulations to all the nominees and winners!
Today, I am sharing with you this post on the last fashion show that was on Wednesday! It was truly one amazing show by Ritienne Zammit.
Ritienne Zammit participated in Malta Fashion Week before and back in 2017 when I attended my first fashion week I had seen her show and had enjoyed it – the outfits were stunning and as a designer she is amazing! As Malta Fashion Week’s website states, “Ritienne’s dark edge implores to be seen beneath the historical motifs, strong political messages and poetic metaphors, on which her collections are strongly based.”
An interesting fact about Ritienne – She was awarded,‘The Most Outstanding Student of the Year’ Award 2009-10 at MCAST Institute of Creative Arts in collaboration with the Malta Society of Arts, Manufacture and Commerce as well as the ‘New Designer Award’ in 2013 at the Malta Fashion Awards.
My thoughts on the show …
WOW ….. just WOW!!!! I was amazed at her show, at her designs, at the hair, the makeup, the jewellery (by Yana’s Jewellery!). She had a dog in the show and then she had a baby! She had an amazing Queen and King! My god her designs, featuring feasts which are a Maltese Tradition in her outfits she created! She took me to Game of Thrones vibes too, I just was in awee throughout the show! Here are some pieces which struck me –
Follow Ritienne on her social media and visit her website –
What do you think of the pieces? Aren’t they STUNNING!?!?
Thank you all so much for reading!! And for all your amazing support! I just have one more post to upload on Fashion Week, that’s of my final outfit at the event! I am just waiting for the photos from the photographer, once I have them I will share my post with you all!!
Until next time!

How are you all today? I hope everyone is doing great! And I hope that you are enjoying my blog posts! I truly missed writing here and I need to get back to it as it is something relaxing to do! Though I miss recording videos for my Youtube Channel but once Fashion Week finishes I will surely get back to that source too!
Today I will be sharing with you all what I wore on Day 6 of Malta Fashion Week 2019. As you know all my outfits are from New Look Malta, I just love the brand and it truly reflects back on me, my personality and my style that I have developed into!
The outfit I chose for today’s shows was one which I loved. I love my crops tops, but this included a top with string straps, and I just loved its colour and its design! A VERY comfortable trousers which were made of linen and had the paperbag trousers style, paired with nice button detailing. From this outfit I just loved the STRAW bag!! I know how in style they are and you just need to have one in your closet! I also had a jacket which was a very casual white blazer which makes the look together.
What I am wearing …
Top – I could not find the exact top online however, found the closest one – Linen Blend Crop Top (New look Malta outlets should still have the top in my photos still in stock!)
I hope you all are doing well, and having a great week. On Monday, I attended my third show at this year’s Malta Fashion Week.
As you know after each show I come back and share my thoughts on how the day’s shows went, and this blog post is just that! There were a total of three shows from – Gabrielle Fenech to Ocantos from Argentina and finally the shows ended with a show from Parascandalo!
Fenech launched her self-named brand in 2015. Her brand
offers, “Beautifully unconventional fashion for audacious and eccentric
individuals”. Her pieces take on a classical tailoring style with a hint of
glamour and sass. To quote Malta Fashion Week’s website, they describe Gabrielle’s creations as, “easily
wearable and feminine, while at the same time bold and empower.”
What is interesting is that Gabrielle’s brand is influenced by cult-societies, history and music and her collections try to tell a story and take its viewers on a journey either through the streets of Valletta or on runways at Fashion Week.
Gabrielle debuted her new collection of 2019 inspired by The Lovers tarot – L’Amoureux.
My thoughts on the show …
I loved Gabrielle’s collection! I especially loved the pieces where you had like a dungaree. I also loved the colours she chose and the designs she went for. She had t-shirts with great designs and they are so wearable. A colour that struck me most was the dark green glitter fabric which I noticed was a key colour through her L’ Amoureux collection! A lot of numbers caught my eyes and these are just a few!
fashion designer was from Argentina. His name is Eduardo Gonzalez Ocantos who is a lawyer, filmmaker, painter and
designer. As you can see a man with many talents! He shared his artwork in
different countries in the past ten years such as Italy, France, Montenegro,
Mexico, Malta and many others! What is interesting is that he is also working
around culture and wants to bring over more Latin American designers in Milan.
To quote an interview he
La Nacion, taken by Flor Bibas, he said that he does
not, “feel like a fashion designer” but he just likes, “to play, experiment
with textures and objects.” He likes using emotions and loves expressing
himself through his pieces.
My thoughts on the show …
I truly saw the artist in this designer. His pieces were so colourful and just gave me a sense of happiness when looking at them! I loved the pieces which had a bow tie, gave a sense of fun to the outfit too! Here are some pieces that I loved in the show –
Marco Parascandalo who is from Birgu, is well known for being the
creative mind behind his self-named fashion brand – Parascandalo. Parascandalo
is a local brand that is well known for Marco’s distinctive take on streetwear.
The brand has gained so much popularity. I personally loved his show back in
2017 and I still remember that denim jacket that I would have loved to get and
add to my personal wardrobe. (Due to finances, Kezia could not haha)
In 2014, Marco took part for the first time at Malta Fashion Week and after the show, everyone wanted to wear his collection, a.k.a. Skandlu! To quote from Malta Fashion Week’s website, “Marco pays special attention to the wearability and durability of his items” and he, “integrates aspects of Maltese culture, politics and environmental issues into his pieces to produce a very modern melange, the ultimate social commentary in motion.” The brand was such a hit that Marco has also gained international recognition.
At this year’s Malta Fashion Week, his show is around his new Spring/Summer 2019 collection entitled, “EYECONIC”. I need to save up and pick out something, as I need a piece of his in my wardrobe this year! I just love his designs, especially since they are wearable in everyday outfits! And, just to add that wearing them I would imagine that they would give me confidence and a sense of cool-ness!
My thoughts on the show …
Parascandalo’s show was AMAZING. He truly surprised us as he did not show one collection but two! We had a peak into his summer as well as winter 2019 collection !! I loved the pieces he created, his Eyeconic Collection was itself ICONIC! The colours, the styles, the patterns and the designs … everything just meshed with each other! Here are some pieces that I absolutely LOVED.
What I also enjoyed about his show was that he collaborated with Oxygyn. They are a Maltese band composed of sibling duo Kurt and Katia. The group’s aim is to share great music with a message; one about the nature of humanity and the society which surrounds it. Check out their social media and definitely go listen to their song – BLINDFOLD!
So as I said, a day after each day I attend Malta Fashion Week I will come here and write up a blog post all about the outfit I wore on the day!
And so here is my outfit blog post for the outfit I wore yesterday.
I will not be attending all the days during fashion week as it is quite impossible for me having a full time job. However, I will be attending Malta Fashion Week on 4 different days! And yesterday was the first day that I attended!
As I wrote in my previous blog post I am sponsored by New Look Malta for the outfits I am wearing during this year’s fashion week!
So here is the first outfit –
Let me tell you a little about my outfit from New Look …
I love these trousers, they are so comfortable and the top is so cute and just fits right, as you can tighten it as much as you like!! It does get a little chilly during these shows, so then yes I need to wear a jacket!! And a cropped black denim jacket … you can never go wrong with it!! This outfit, i loved paired it with a black bag and chose this straw bag, as straw bags are a big thing at the moment!!
Today there were three different fashion shows. It started with a runway collaboration from Isle & Aqua and Yana’s Jewellery. Then there was Maria Cutajar’s collection and the night ended with a show from Agatha Ruiz De La Prada from Spain.
Isle & Aqua X Yana’s Jewellery
On one side, we have Giulia Pandolfino, a swimwear designer who launched her Swimwear Brand – Isle & Aqua.Whilst on the other side, we have Yana Azzopardi, a self-taught jewellery designer who was inspired by a family history in jewellery making. She launched her brand Yana’s Jewellery in 2010, and between 2013 and 2018, she opened two shops right here in Malta!
For Malta Fashion Week 2019, they both teamed up together to present a runway collection of swimwear with jewellery pieces inspired by the Tribal woman. The swimwear pieces by Isle & Aqua will focus on texture and geometric layering, whilst Yana’s Jewellery will bring bold colour and design combinations that compliment and contrast each other.
My thoughts on the runway show …
I loved the jewellery from Yana’s Jewellery. It’s bold, colourful, chunky and there’s also feather earrings! I used to love feather earrings, but what’s more interesting is that they are all so colourful!! Pairing these accessories with swim wear from Isle & Aqua was such an amazing idea. I looked at their show, and it just screamed summer to me! Here are some shots that I took of the show –
Visit Isle & Aqua’s and Yana’s Jewellery’s websites & social media!
Before I share with you a bit of information on Maria Cutajar, I attended today’s show specifically for her runway! I had loved her collection she depicted in Fashion Week of 2 years ago!
Maria Cutajar is a Maltese fashion designer and she created her own brand, Maria Cutajar. Her brand features clothes, which are handmade and designed by herself! She studied at Mcast Art and Design Institute, and then went on to earn a Malta Arts Scholarship to continue and pursue her dream in fashion, at the Accademia Italiana in Florence, Italy! In 2015, Maria Cutajar was chosen to visit Dubai and had the opportunity to collaborate with Sharjah Businesswoman for her Coral Vibes Collection. By the end of 2016, Maria Cutajar graduated in fashion from the Accademia Italiana and University of Nottingham (UK).
Now, Maria Cutajar is expanding her own brand and she is working as a part-time lecturer at Mcast in Garment Production, and tailoring. Aside from participating at Malta fashion week, Mid de Fleur (Florence), Materiali di Moda (Florence), Miss in Tech, she also hosted her own event: Forbidden Voices in aid to Domestic Violence.
My thoughts on her show …
Maria’s show did not fail to impress me. This year, she based the collection around the film, ‘Casablanca’! I just love the pieces which she put together and the colours she used!! The outfits, all shared with me a sense of happiness because of the colours which were used throughout the entire collection. The details in each outfit is also something important to note too. Here are some shots I took of the show, I apologise as they are not the best of photos and I wish I had managed to take more!!
Today’s MFWA fashion show ended with Agatha Ruiz De La Prada, who is a Spanish fashion designer. Unfortunately, Agatha hurt her leg so she was unable to attend the show! Agatha started her fashion career back in 1981 with a women’s collection in Madrid. From then on, she has developed into the fashion designer she is today and has gained international success when she collaborated with El Corte Inglés. She received fashion recognition from all over the world – Tokyo, New York, Moscow, Italy and many others. Now, here she is portraying her fashion collection right here in Malta.
Interesting facts about Agatha –
In the 1980s, she was a promoter of the “Movida Madrileña,” which is an artistic and Cultural Revolution.
In 1991, Agatha expanded her brand to not only include women’s clothing but also to include men and children’s clothing. However, that was not all; she has also included ceramics, toys, shoes, linens and towels, makeup, stationary and more! Her stores are found in the major capitals of fashion – Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, Milan, New York, Oporto and Mallorca.
And in 2019, in occasion of the 30th Anniversary of her first fashion show, she inaugurated her Foundation – her brand.
My thoughts on her show …
OH MY GOD … I absolutely loved it, from the colours, to the styles, to the outfits!! I just wish I had taken more photos! But I loved this collection because it represents fun, unique-ness, the headbands are just too cute!! And it also represents to me a sense of peace, calmness and a relaxing feeling. That’s what I felt when looking at her collection, I truly was taken on a journey! Here are the photos that I took –
Visit Agatha Ruiz De La Prada’s website & social media!
Today I attended my very first show at this year’s Malta Fashion Week. I was super excited, nervous and just a bundle of emotions all intertwined together. I had attended my last show 2 years ago, last year I did not attend as this time last year I was writing up my dissertation … time has passed and wow was that a piece of work! However, this year, I was all set and ready to attend. Yes, not all the days during the entire week, but I have chosen four different days where I will be attending and enjoying a show!
Also, I was so happy to see all the other lovely Maltese Influencers. Boy have we grown in number since two years ago! I am happy to see more Maltese creating their own blogs and YouTube channels!! If you are creative and have that curiosity for such activities and are into fashion, makeup, whatever, GO FOR IT!! What are you waiting for?!?
I also have some exciting news which I already shared on my social media (which you can join so you can follow anything I share on MFWA!!) but not here yet .. for this year’s Fashion Week events, I am being sponsored by New Look, therefore, all my outfits that I wear throughout the shows are all from New Look. I am so happy that they accepted and gave me this opportunity, I will always be so grateful!! I personally love New Look and still remember when it first opened right here in Malta. It was the first shop where I saw my style grow, even just the shop and its layout was such a breath of fresh air! And that is why I chose this brand and its outfits, and the outfits I chose reflect me, my personality and my style and throughout the shows I attend I will be writing up outfit blog posts too!!! And THANK YOU TO NEW LOOK AND HUDSON MALTA for this opportunity once again!!
So my blog is going to be quite active this week, so be sure to be following it! Therefore, here is how I will be sharing with you my blog posts throughout Fashion Week! After each show, I will post about my thoughts on the fashion shows and their designers. Then the next day I will share an Outfit Blog Post of what I wore at Fashion Week!
I hope you all will enjoy these blog posts and I honestly wanted to share as best as I can, my experience at this year’s Fashion Week right here in Malta!
If you have any questions or comments, kindly leave them down below!!
Thank you all for your support – as without you all, KezziesCorner would not be the same!!
See you all in my next post!!

I hope you’re doing great! Today’s blog post is all about Zaful, if you didn’t know then get to know! Zaful is a clothing online website that sells a variety of clothing pieces at such great prices!
Their sizes sometimes can be confusing and the materials used are not as seen in the photos. But you do get those outfits which actually are amazing at a great price!! Also here is a discount code to save the bank a little! Use “ZFjaned4″ at checkout to get $3 off $25; $6 off $50 or $12 off $100!!
Now I shall be picking 10 items from their website and talking about them right here and why they are on my Zaful Autumn Wishlist … because hey, it’s soon autumn!! Well “autumn like” in Malta.
P.s. The titles and images are linked with the item I show you so you can click on them and it will direct you to Zaful’s website where you can find the exact item I showed you!
Ok, so I got a similar jacket like this but in denim and not pink from Primark!! But I would love to have a pink one in my closet too! I don’t think you can go wrong with a jacket like this, pair it with a white top and ripped jeans! And voila snuggly oufit!! This only is $28.99, so that’s like a $30 jacket, that’s such a bargain! It also comes in like a maroon shade, which is a lovely autumn colour, but personally I would prefer this pink shade!!
Ok, so I really want something similar to the teddy bear jacket, which looks so cosy! And this really reminds me of it! It’s only $26.99 and I think it would look so good with any outfit, just cos it spells winter out for me!! I have a love and hate relationship with winter because yes it is better than the heat but I hate it because you always have to wear layers of clothing and so your outfit literally disappears under the your jacket. But having a jacket like this makes me not mind that I have layered up because it is a cute jacket!!
This is a stylish windbreaker and it doesn’t just come in a white and maroon shade, but also has some other shades as you can see when you click on the link!! This just looks like a cool design and I can see myself wearing this on black ripped jeans but also on my black denim skirt with buttons!!! It looks cosy and comfortable too, and we all want that comfort during the cold months of winter! This is only $19.99, such a great price for this type jacket!
So I love crop tops during the summer months, so if I could continue my crop top passion during the winter months, well Kezia would be happy then! This looks like a cute crop top that I would wear with my blue jeans and white converse! Such a comfy and casual outfit! This comes in different colours but this shade seemed to be calling me! This is only $19.99!
I love this!! I can so imagine myself wearing this on jeans, trousers and skirts! Especially skirts with black tights on!! I can see it so clearly! I love the floral design and the ruffles at the ends of the top and sleeves! I think this just is a unique kind of sweater with a different look to it! This retails for $19.99 and also comes in black!
I just liked it because of the cute planet on the sweatshirt and also the colour! I mean this mustard shade screams autumn to me!! I would love to wear this on one of my videos, it will just add a lovely pop of colour to my clips!! Such a sweater completes an outfit and again sorry I am going to say this again, you can pair it wit a pair of jeans and my white converse trainers or my vans! Sorry I wrote pair so many times in that sentence! This retails for $16.81 and also comes in different colours!
So moving along from sweaters onto two piece sets! So if you didn’t know, Zaful do a lot of two piece affordable sets which are ever so cute! And yes this is not autumn-y but you can easily wear this with a denim jacket and voila you’re still all warm!! And to be fair in Malta it doesn’t get cold for a while so we can afford to wear outfits like this! I just love the pink shade in this outfit!! This retails for $23.35 … only !! You get an entire outfit and I love how there are the buttons!
I love pinafore dresses especially during autumn. Love wearing them on top of plain crop tops and black tights! And then when it gets colder I love wearing my black denim jacket which has wool on it too! These pinafore dresses you can dress them down or up, however, you would like to! This only retails for $25.49 and unfortunately, this is the only colour in this style! But I really like how the model wore it with a striped top, I should invest in one!
I love the colour this comes in and again it has the buttons going on it! It’s a cute dress that you can wear either casually in the morning or even on a date night at night! Pairing it again with a denim jacket!! Or else with that cosy teddy bear like jacket mentioned as my number #2!! This retails for $13.35 and is on sale at the moment; and also comes in some other different shades!
I had to add this as my last item in my Zaful Autumn Wishlist!! The colour is called arrow green, reminds me of the tv series, Arrow which I stopped watching!! This looks like comfy yet stylish gym wear and I love that it has the cropped top!! My kinda cuppa tea I guess! This only comes in this one shade and retails for $18.48!! Again it’s a two piece set, so that one price is basically covering two items!!
And that was my Zaful Autumn Wishlist! What did you think of it? Let me know in the comments down below!!
Hope you are all doing well! I’m BACK!! I kind of been away lately. Ever since I got back from Stirling, I expected too much of myself and wanted everything to go back to the way it was. However, that wasn’t possible, I lost my routine, became stressed and I lost my motivation to upload videos and write blog posts!
I only want to write when I am motivated and happy as I don’t want to put up posts or videos which I don’t believe in. But I think now I feel much better, I feel happy again and all set to carry on with blogging! I love it and do not wish to forget it as it is a factor of my happiness!
Anyways, today’s blog post is another fashion related one all about a wedding outfit I wore to my cousin’s wedding! Her wedding was amazing, so lovely with family and friends! I wish them all the best for their future together!
The outfit I chose is one from Primark! I know right, I didn’t think I would ever find a cute enough outfit for a wedding from Primark but I did and thankfully I found one right before I left Scotland! It’s a two piece outfit with a crop top and a long high waisted skirt. I found it was smart yet fun with its colourful flowers!
I then chose to get out of my comfort zone and opt for a coloured pair of shoes! I found these gorgeous mustard heels from Downunder Malta. You guys know how much I love their shop and I have done previous blog posts featuring them! You can visit their Fb Pageor visit their store in Paola to see what lovely shoes they have in stock right now!
Here were my previous blog posts featuring other pairs of shoes from Downunder Malta –
As I wrote in my previous blog posts, Downunder Malta have a variety of different styled shoes from high heels to sneakers to occasional shoes (like for weddings!) , all at great prices and each style comes in a number of different colours!
These pair are just too cute because they also have a bow at the back of them, which gives them a unique vibe! I really enjoyed wearing them and danced the night away!! The same style of shoes comes in different colours and retails for €18!! Bargain Alert!!
And here are some outfit photos I took at the wedding!
What do you guys think of this outfit? Let me know in the comments down below!!
I hope you are all having a lovely day! A few days ago I wore this outfit on a Sunday whilst visiting Marsaxlokk and had a lovely lunch by the sea!
This cute outfit is made up of a black and white striped pattern and is a co-ord/two piece outfit from Zaful. The material of it may be slightly too thick for a hot summer’s day however, it will be perfect for a summer’s night. But, it didn’t bother me that Sunday when I went out. I had on sandals from Primark although, they don’t show on the photo!
The outfit also makes you look taller, the trousers come with slits on the sides and since it is a two piece outfit you can easily mix and match both items with other items from your closet! You can get this very same piece right here. The only thing is, my nan added straps onto the strapless top as Kezia likes having her straps!
I also mentioned this outfit in my Zaful wishlist and am so happy that it’s in my closet!
Did you guys like this outfit? Do you guys want to see more outfit posts on my blog? Let me know in the comments down below!!
