Testing out Profusion Cosmetics – Review

Hi lovelies,

How are we all doing? I am coming back with another blog post! I hope you enjoy it!!

This time it’s all about a fairly new UK brand called Profusion Cosmetics. However, this brand has been in the US for quite a while so it is now branching into Europe!

To all my Maltese followers, at the time being the website doesn’t ship to Malta however, it will in the future. There are ways you can still order from their website like using Maltapost Send On instead.

Their website can be found right here – https://profusioncosmetics.co.uk/

They have a variety of products and lots of them come in box sets! The prices of these products are amazing!

So I would like to thank Profusion Cosmetics for these products!! I did a video reviewing an eyebrow palette and 2 eyeshadow palettes! You could see my first impressions and first reactions to how the products tested out right here –

And now I will give a review as I have been using them for the past week!

#1 Brows Pro Makeup Case – £7.95

IMG_4429

I love this Brow palette. First off let’s talk about the packaging. Both products that I will be talking about today come in this tin packaging which reminds me of the Naked 2 Palette from Urban Decay. I kind of like it and not like it because yes it has lots of different products but it can seem bulky and not that travel friendly.

But this Brows Case has everything you need to create those perfect brows that you desire. It has a double ended brush with the brush to apply the eyebrow powders with (which is amazing) together with a spoolie on the other side.  It includes a wax that helps you sit your brows in place. Then it includes 4 different brow powder shades which is amazing !! And finally it also includes a highlighter you can apply on your brow bone and an eyebrow pencil to end the brow look!

Brow Case applied !!

I love this palette and doing my brows with all these products really helped with a quick and easy application! The powders work really well and I love the brush! This palette is perfect for beginners!!

#2 Eyes Pro Makeup Case – Nude Palette – £7.95

IMG_4436

I love this eyeshadow palette, it comes with both everyday shadow shades but then in the end it has darker shades which you could use for smokey eye looks! I loved these shadows, they blended nicely, they are so pigmented and they are not too powdery, there barely was any fallout from them being applied! The palette includes both shimmer and matte shades.

I simply love the finished look I created in the video and I also tried the palette off camera for everyday natural makeup looks where I mixed some of the lighter shades! But yeah it is a great palette and for only £7.95 you cannot go wrong!! You get so much shadow shades!!

#3 Eyes Pro Makeup Case – Amber Palette – £7.95

IMG_4438

This palette is similar to the one above meaning the shadows perform the same. However, I LOVE the shades of this palette. They remind me of Modern Renaissance shades from Anastasia Beverly Hills! And this palette is so much cheaper and still performs well!! I love this and I loved mixing some of these shades with the Nudes Palette to create the look I created in the video. However, I have also used it on its own off camera and loved it nonetheless.

The finished look created in the video!

Similar to the previous palette, the shadows blended well, they were not powdery and they are so pigmented. The palette again includes both shimmer and matte shades and I love making my brush a little bit damp before applying the shimmer shades so to pop the colour up more of those shades! Love it!!

And basically that’s it. Overall I was impressed by these products and look forward to trying out more from Profusion Cosmetics!! Thank you once again to Profusion Cosmetics for these products!!

Have you ever tried Profusion Cosmetics or intend to? Let me know in the comments down below!!

Sweet Sparkle – February Unboxing – Kiss of Winter

Hi everyone,

Today’s blog post is all about the Sweet Sparkle February Box. The theme of this month was Kiss of Winter.

17035851_10210671095266190_262153532_o

I did not film a video however, I created a makeup look using all of the products and took pictures in between steps to write up a blog post.

I am really enjoying the fact that now we get a card with all the items written down on it plus a little description on each of them and the retail cost. This really helps in seeing whether the box is worth it!

Before applying any of the products

Concrete Minerals – Mineral Eyeshadow – Shade Sweet Catrina – Retails for $8

This is a 100% vegan and cruelty free product. It has quite a soft texture and is a pink-champagne shade that flatters all eye colors with a light shimmer.

16990137_10210671093226139_1625881541_o

My thoughts – I found that this isn’t really pigmented and you need to apply a lot of product if you want to get the colour onto your eyelid. Although, I have yet to try it with some sort of setting spray which might help the pigmentation pop.

Be a Bombshell – Baked Blush – Shade Teacher’s Pet – Retails for $6

17036623_10210671096746227_797663587_o

This is a baked mineral refined into a powder formula for the ideal baked blush. It enhances your cheekbones with its lightweight glimmer of pink and gold.

17035911_10210671092066110_1692375775_o

My thoughts – Since it has shimmers in it, your pore friends on your skin are going to speckle through and I personally do not like it! The colour is cute, the packaging is great; but as a product it isn’t my favourite.

Kokie Cosmetics – Dynamic Due Eyeliner – Retails for $8

16990114_10210671096866230_675105015_o

17015475_10210671098426269_814700988_o

The products entails to be a long wear, intense black and smudge free eyeliner. It is a double-ended liquid liner used to create a matte finished look that will last all night.

17036835_10210671098066260_98760527_o

My thoughts – I loved the eyebrow pencil we got from Kokie in January however, this isn’t a favourite product of mine. The felt tip pen side is great however, the other side isn’t. When I try to go over the line, the black becomes patchy. It is true that it doesn’t smudge and it is quite long lasting. However, it doesn’t create an intense black look.

Crown Cosmetics – Pro Volumizing Mascara – Retails for $4.99

17016593_10210671094346167_9136488_o

The mascara entails to lengthen, volumise and define lashes. The large wand akes your lashes to new lengths without clumping them.

17035881_10210671092026109_557902020_o

17016618_10210671096386218_247952537_o

My thoughts – The wand is pretty harsh on the edges so it isn’t my favourite wand. However, I love the effect of this mascara on my lashes. It doesn’t clump them together and the formula doesn’t transfer to my eyelids.

LA Splash – Velvet Matte Liquid Lipstick – Shade Cookie Dough – Retails for $14

17015146_10210671097466245_624331066_o

The shade is dessert like and it has a velvet matte formula and is waterproof. It also exfoliates, moisturises and applies for a long lasting sultry look.

16990764_10210671095186188_178114170_o

My thoughts – I love the rose gold packaging it is just adorable! The dofer applicator is perfect to help us achieve the perfect lip look. The smell though isn’t my favourite as it has this weird scent! But it really does last long, it isn’t patchy and it isn’t drying!

The second look is for those girls who are going to be having a GNOGirls Night Out with their best friends!

I shall be doing the makeup side of the looks whilst Deborah will be taking care of the outfits!

Here are Deborah’s outfits for both looks –
