Testing out some Sleek Makeup!!

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all having a great start to the week! Here I am with another blog post and so excited to share this with you all!

IMG_4072

Last week, I was kindly sent over some Sleek Products to test out from Brandnation. I was so overwhelmed when I received such a package!

Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram where I unbox packages and share them on my insta day!!

Anyways, so I wanted to come on my blog and create a post where I share with all, you my thoughts on Sleek products which are all cruelty-free. I have been using them for the past week since I received them! Before we start, a reminder that you can buy Sleek products either from Boots or Sleek’s website.

#1 Foundation –

IMG_4017.jpg

IMG_4028

This foundation comes in several shades and the shade that matched my skin the most was LP02 which is a fair shade with cool pink undertones. You can find your shade of sleek foundations right here. This foundation stated that it was sweat-proof, oil-free and has a medium to full buildable coverage intensity.

My thoughts …

I personally loved this foundation as it gave me great coverage. I did have to use concealer for underneath my eyes and my imperfections but apart from that, it really set a nice makeup base to my look.

It has soft-focus powders which create a blurring effect and helps in reducing the appearance of fine lines.  From applying this foundation, I immediately saw my pores decrease in appearance … so that’s a major plus for me! Also, because it is oil-free, it helped my skin remain shine-free. I also noticed that it lasted all day.

This foundation again comes in different shades and my shade was VF02 which is a fair shade with neutral undertones. This is a lightweight foundation with a semi-matte finish. It has hydrating ingredients including lotus flower, bamboo and water lily extracts that help in leaving your skin flawless. Like the other foundation it has soft-focus powders that help in smoothing your skin.

My thoughts …

The Life Proof foundation I felt that you would use it on a night out but the Vitality Fresh foundation could be your everyday foundation. It is very lightweight and has quite light coverage but it is buildable. It is oil-free which I love as my skin requires oil-free foundations.

What I loved the most is that even after a whole day of errands my skin still looked the same from the morning, the foundation didn’t move around or get patchy, so it is very long lasting! I love this foundation too but for more natural makeup days.

#2 Blush –

IMG_4025

Sleek has 10 different shades of blush in this formula, they are all highly pigmented, long lasting and give a dewy radiant glow. The shade I received is Rose Gold and OMG the pigmentation of it is UNREAL!

IMG_4084

My thoughts …

When applied, it blended so nicely on my skin and gave me a gorgeous pink natural blushed look. I love the shade, it’s such a gorgeous rosy pink with gold shimmers! It’s ideal for all skin tones and also can be used as a golden pink highlight. Oh, and I love the packaging of this cute blush, as it also comes with a mirror!

#3 Contour –

IMG_4027

Sleek has 3 different shades of this contour kit and mine came in the Light one. You get a contour and highlight shade in this one palette. I love Sleek’s packaging and love how they put mirrors in these palettes.

IMG_4079

My thoughts …

I love both the contour and the highlight. I first applied the contour shade to the hollows of my cheeks and the powder blended in nicely giving me a natural contoured look. However, I love the highlight shade that comes in this palette, it gives my cheek bones such a lovely glow!

#4 Highlight –

IMG_4024

I already have this palette in my collection and I think it was one of the first ever highlighting palettes I bought! I simply love it, this is what made me get into highlight! It helps enhance your complexion and helps add a radiant skin glow!

IMG_4082

My thoughts …

The packaging of this palette, I mean yes it gets filled with my fingerprints but I simply love it! It is just so sleek! Even though it comes with a brush I don’t like using that one but I love using a simple fan brush. But, if you want the shades to be more intense I noticed that using the Real Techniques Setting Brush gives the shades more intensity!

My favourite shades are the golden yellow one and the one next to it which is sort of gold/peach-ish. I wish this palette came with names for the shades, because they deserve names as they are so amazing! You can also use them as shimmers on your body … perfect for the Summer months!

#5 Lipsticks –

IMG_4030

I have tried this formula of lipsticks before but never these shades. I love this shade and I prefer the lighter shades from this formula. Matte me lipsticks are long lasting and are not drying.

IMG_4086

My thoughts …

Again, I love this shade – a lovely coral pink! It felt so lightweight on my lips and lasted all day. It applied easily with one coat!

With Bittersweet on my lips

This is an ‘oxblood red’ or a vampy red that is perfect for the winter months.

My thoughts …

IMG_4088

This shade required two coats and not one to get the intensity of the colour right. That is why I prefer the lighter shades from this formula. But it is a stunning vampy red that is perfect with a simple winged liner makeup look, such as the one I created, attached in these photos! You just have to be a little patient with this shade!

Again, I would like to thank Sleek Makeup and Brandnation for the products. Don’t forget that you can buy these products from Sleek’s website or Boots

Blogmas Day 2 – 3INA – The Utility Collection – Review

Hi Everyone,

It’s Saturday 2nd December a.k.a Blogmas Day 2!!

IMG_2726

Today’s blog post is all about the Utility Collection from 3INA. I have done various blog posts on 3INA before and you can check them out right here –

So yeah I have already done a few! I love 3INA because it allows me to come out of my comfort zone and create looks that I would have never imagined of creating! It gives me the confidence and provides me with colours that I thought wouldn’t look good on me!!

IMG_2732

If you are Maltese like me you can find 3INA outlets at the Point – Sliema, in Qormi near Kiabi, Pama Shopping Village and Valletta.

I would like to thank 3INA Malta and the Hudson Group for the products, I truly appreciate them!!

And thanks to mum & dad for bringing them over when they came to visit me!!

IMG_2735

Any who’s this collection called the Utility collection is an urban style one and all products from 3INA are cruelty free and paraben free. Here are the products that I tried out –

The shadow paint – Shade 700 – €8.95

IMG_2740

This is a long lasting eyeshadow that gives an intense and magnetic colour, it also lasts all day and is waterproof. It comes in four different shades – white, yellow, green and blue.

IMG_2741

My thoughts – It is not a product that I would go for and the only way I could think of applying this product is by applying a green shade all over my crease and placing the shadow paint on my lids, It was a little difficult to work with and you will need patience with this product. However, after fixing it and blending back and forth I managed to make it work … or I think I did.

When it came to removing the product I found that it was a little hard to remove. This is not a favourite product of mine but it could reflect on my makeup skills and not being a professional makeup artist. Comment down below of what other ways I can use this shadow paint, I would love to know!!

The Eyeliner Pencil – Shade 613 – €4.95

IMG_2742

This eyeliner pencil comes in a vivid colour, it is super intense and pigmented and helps with creating a precise line and is easy to blend. You can get this product in two shade – green like mine or a mustard yellow.

IMG_2744

My thoughts – I loved applying this on my waterline, it applied so easily and I love the shade I got mine in – makes your eyes pop especially with that shadow paint all over the lid! I also noticed how creamy the formula! Really loved how this product applied!

The Chubby lipstick – Shade 113 – €8.95

IMG_2737

Great for travelling and applies so quickly and easily. The rounded tip helps with applying over the cupid’s bow and lip corners. It comes in four different shades, a muddy brown like mine, mustard, light pink and dark pink.

IMG_2738

My thoughts – I loved how this chubby lipstick applied, I didn’t take long to apply the lipstick at all! It is very pigmented, soft and moisturising on the lips and not at all dry even though it is a matte formula. Love the shade it came in – perfect for autumn/winter!!

Here’s the finished look using all 3 products!

You can also watch my video where I even showed you how they apply –

Have you guys tried out any of the products from the Utility Collection from 3INA? Comment down below and let me know!!

Thank you once again to 3INA Malta and Hudson Group Malta for the the products!!

Until tomorrow,

Love Kezia
