Which skin type is it good for?

  • Normal
  • Oily
  • Combination
  • Dry
  • Sensitive

My thoughts –

IMG_4334

I find the concept so fascinating, that these three sheets can be washed away in soap and the soap just remove your makeup so easily. In the video, you saw what heavy eye makeup I had. But it went off in seconds! I have used this a couple of times now, and may I remind you that each pack comes with 50 sheets! It also is so compact and so easy to carry around!! Brilliant for packing on holiday because it isn’t a liquid!!

IMG_4322

But from all the times I used it, I love how soft it left my skin and it did not cause any irritation on my skin. I have combination and sensitive skin, just in case you are wondering! So yeah it did wash off my makeup and left it all clean and soft! And one final thing about the product is the packaging it comes in! It is so sleek and high quality, I love it!!

Vichy Normaderm 3-in-1 Scrub + Cleanser + Mask – Review

Hi everyone,

I did write in my last blog post that I will be posting an extra blog post this week!! And here is that post!!

I was so excited to work again with Vichy Malta. If you haven’t read my previous 2 posts testing out two other products from Vichy, then you can check them out right here –

Today’s product that I will be sharing with you all, is the Vichy Normaderm 3 in 1 Cleanser + Scrub + Mask! Therefore, this product does all 3 things – Perfect no?

IMG_2311

The Normaderm 3 in 1 Scrub + Cleaner + Mask claims to help the skin, it provides gentle skincare routine and relieves the skin from any oils and imperfections that we might have going on. The product has been tested on sensitive skin and it is a cleanser, scrub and mask with soothing properties. The Normaderm 3-in-1 has a clay like formula. It consists of purifying, anti-bacterial and keratolytic actions to keep imperfections at bay and leave your skin perfectly matte.

The Normaderm 3 IN 1 formula makes you choose how you want to use it.

Ways of using this product –

IMG_2314

So you can use it as a mask and apply it once/twice a week depending on your skin type. Leave it on for 5 minutes then gently rinse away with warm water. Gently use circular motions to get that exfoliation going and gently exfoliate your skin.

Or you can use it as a cleanser/exfoliator and apply it once/twice a week, onto a damp face and rinsing it off with warm water. Additionally, as a scrub it helps with unclogging pores and gives the skin a smooth finish.

However you use Normaderm 3-in-1, be it as a mask/scrub/cleanser – it should only be used once/twice a week.

What do each of the formulas claim to do in the Normarderm 3-in-1 Cleanser + Scrub + Mask?
1) Exfoliator: helps unclog pores. Cleans away excess oil and trapped dirt that lead to acne breakouts, prevents pimples and blackheads
2) Cleansing Cream: reduces sebum and impurities. Kills acne-causing bacteria without irritating the skin
3) Mask: Mattifies skin and clarifies complexion.

My thoughts …

So I was really excited from reading about the Normaderm 3-in-1 and seeing what it claims to do. I loved using it as a mask. I kept it on for a little over 5 minutes because it was so refreshing on my skin! Once I rinsed it off I saw my complexion had no shine whatsoever and the mask brightened my skin making it feel so fresh. It also decreased the effect of pores too!

IMG_2307

One week I also tried it as an exfoliator and I think I will use it more as an exfoliator to unclog my pores as right now this is what my skin is struggling with the most. However, if you are looking to feel relaxed and refreshed I highly recommend that you use it as a mask.

After rinsing it off, my face looks clearer. Here is my natural skin look.

I like the concept this product brings with it. The fact that this product can replace 3 of your skincare products is amazing!! It has definitely joined my skincare routine!

It joined the Vichy Family !!

Thank you so much Vichy Malta. Remember that if you are from Malta and would like to purchase this product, you will find Vichy being sold at various local pharmacies. The Normaderm 3-n-1 Cleanser + Scrub + Mask costs €12.90.

Thank you so much for reading everyone, have a lovely week!

Arad – Facial Scrub – Review

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all having a lovely Sunday. The weather in Malta looks bliss!!

Today’s blog post is all about another post on an Arad product! As you know if you have been on my blog for quite a while, I have been posting reviews about Arad products!

If you haven’t seen them already be sure to check them out, here are just a few –

IMG_8619

Today is all about this Facial Scrub that I have been trying out for 2-3 months. I do not use it every day but I use it in conjunction with my Vichy Cleanser to regulate my acne prone skin. And since the Vichy Cleanser was recommended by my dermatologist I could not stop using it completely.

So what I have been doing is switching the two everyday and I found that this worked. I guess in the end you just have to simply experiment and see what products work out for you. Therefore, this may have worked out for me but it may not work out for you if you have acne.

So what is this Arad Facial Scrub?

IMG_8620

This scrub is formulated with ‘Dead Sea Mud‘ and ‘Natural scrubbing particles‘ to help with cleanse your skin and pores and help in ‘rejuvenating the look of the skin.’

It contains ‘Bees Wax‘ and ‘plant extracts’ which act as ‘skin conditioners‘ to help ‘sooth and calm the skin.’

How to apply it –

Rinse your face as normal, then with your fingertips apply the scrub in circular motions all over your face and avoiding the eye area; do this for one minute or so. Then gentle rinse off.

You could then apply the Arad Day Moisturiser and the Arad Night Cream after. The moisturiser I use is the Arad Hydro Light Moisturizer for Oily Skin.

My thoughts –

IMG_8621

What I like about this scrub is that it isn’t too messy. Even though it has these tiny particles which annoy me, they are easily rinsed off. These particles are the ‘Apricot Seeds‘ which helps in cleansing pores.

Now since I have been using this for a while, I have noticed that my pores are getting slightly smaller. They do not disappear so don’t expect magic. However, they have decreased in size; that makes Kezia very happy!

The scrub makes my skin feel soft and smooth and cleanses my skin thoroughly!

If you are Maltese like me, you can visit Arad Dead Sea Malta’s Facebook Page for more information.

Have you ever tried this product or any other product from Arad? What are your thoughts? If you haven’t, are you intrigued of doing so?

Thank you so much for reading!

Happy Sunday!

Love Kezia
