Blogmas Day 16 – My Favourite Christmas Movies this year!

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all doing well !! I know I have not kept up with this year’s blogmas but I am also doing Vlogmas on my Youtube Channel, and you can always catch up with me there !!

Anyways, today’s blog post is all about my favourite Christmas Movies of this year !! Ones that I need to rewatch or found out about this year! I now do most of my christmas movie watching on Netflix ! Love that little thing!

So let’s begin ..

#1 The Santa Clause

This is a classic and one that reminds me of my childhood, watching it on video cassette – you know those ones that you need to rewind before you can watch them! I loved this series but the first one is such a classic and it is my favourite movie to watch on Christmas Day. It really warms my heart when I watch it as it takes me back to my past, back to when I believed in Santa Clause and I used to leave milk and cookies before I slept for Santa with my brother. Then at 6am on Christmas Day we used to wake up bright and early and just scream to the living room where we have our Christmas tree and we would find the milk and cookies finished and presents underneath the Christmas tree. my parents really did an amazing job on Christmas !!

So yeah this is the best movie to watch on Christmas Day in my opinion!

#2 ELF

Ok this is another classic and one which is irreplaceable … if you have not watched this like what are you waiting for it is a classic must see Christmas Movie! I just love watching it it is just so funny and brings the Christmas Delight! If you need a laugh, then this is the movie for you!

#3 A Christmas Prince

This came out last year and I really loved it – a second and third movie following this have come out on Netflix but I have not watched them yet. But I loved the first one so I must love these two, so they are on my list to watch!! Want to see where the new princess is now, it really reminds me of Princess Diaries, loved that book series, what happened to the movie they were supposed to do?

#4 The Polar Express

Ok so I am going to be honest and say that I watched this for the first time … LAST YEAR! And I would love to rewatch it as I loved it. And I do not know why it took me so long to watch it! It’s such a great Christmas Animation Movie, just too cute and you guys no matter how old you are okay you must watch it. I mean whilst writing this I am watching Klaus on Netflix, my brother told me it’s good so I was like let me check it out and so far it is quite funny! It might be on my top Christmas Movies to watch next year!

#5 The Princess Switch

Oh my I loved this – it made me laugh and it is fun to watch! And also Vanessa Hudgens was in the movie and I was a big fan of her in High School Musical. Whoever remembers that movie, must be close to my age haha! So I gave it a watch and it’s like the classic Lindsay Lohan movie Parent Trap sort of! I loved the idea of the movie and I hope there is like a sequel to this one!

#6 New Year’s Eve

I love watching this because there’s Zac Efron but no I really need to rewatch this, it’s on Netflix and I had loved this when I had watched it at the cinema way back when it came out! It was like the Love Actually movie, where so many actors came together and created a holiday film! So you are not following just one story but you would be following many!

#7 Santa Girl

Haha ok so the acting of this one is a little cringe-y especially that blonde guy but it is a sweet overall movie where we see the daughter of Santa wanting a normal life. So that is like a different twist rather than focusing on Santa Clause. I recommend this as it is different, fun to watch !

#8 I’ll be there for Christmas

This is a sweet movie, been out for a while but still adorable. The little girl is just too cute in it too ! And it’s mostly about a father and daughter relationship that repairs itself during the holidays. Cute family movie, for sure!

#9 Holiday in the Wild

Okay so this one I had started it with Luke but I fell asleep but I really want to see it again! It’s one of the new movies from Netflix this year and it has a cute storyline about this woman finding herself, Need to continue watching it and i slept not because it was not interesting but because I was so sleepy!!

#10 Merry Happy Whatever

Ok so this is not a movie but it is a Christmas TV Series that Netflix brought out! I think it should be here as it won’t take you long to watch it. It’s eight episodes of 30 minutes each. A funny comedy about this family and there’s Ashley Tisdale in it….yes I am a big fan of high school musical, it’s a classic movie that takes me back to my teenage years okay. Anyways, yes if you have some time and are stuck on what to choose to watch, check out this series, I guarantee you will have a little laugh along the way!!

And there you have it, that is my Favourite Christmas Movies for 2019!

Blogmas Day 1 🌲☃️

Hi everyone,

It’s that time of year again!! During the past three years I have done Blogmas and this year will not be the exception!

Blogmas may also get me in touch with writing again as I seem to have abandoned this platform and gave priority to my others. For this I apologize, I do not want to give excuses, however, it could be my denial in the way that I soon have to sit down and write an assignment for the masters course I am undertaking. Please note I have not written an assignment in over a year!!

Anyways, Kezia we are drifting away from the subject of this post and that is BLOGMAS!!!! December is here and today is the first day of the month! I’m so excited to see what this month brings and I look forward to celebrating the holiday season with my loved ones! I will try and post a blog post a day as that is what Blogmas entails! And each day will cover a different Christmas theme!

Today’s post is going to be more of an introduction and with that I shall leave a photo of my advent calendar. This year it is of Kinder, does anyone have the same calendar as me???

I opened the first window and found a white bueno flake. I am not going to lie but it was a little dry. Yet am excited as I think each day will be a different kinder treat, so I cannot complain there.

Also, today marked the first Christmas giveaway that I shall be hosting on my Instagram and Facebook. Throughout the month of December I will have Christmas giveaways and this is to thank you for all your amazing support! I also want to thank the brands who so kindly agreed to collaborate with me!

Blogmas Day 19 – Primark Haul

Hi everyone,

I hope you are having a wonderful day 19 of December!!

Today’s Blogmas is all about a Primark Haul and I uploaded a video showing you guys what I got.

I love Primark, I miss it so much! They always have a variety of items at such great prices!! I used to enjoy catching a bus and going to the local Primark in Stirling at the Thistles Shopping Centre when I lived in Scotland. I remember after my placement, I always used to go and just buy like a small thing that costed a pound or so, like that I would be happy!!

I love this teddy bear jacket that I got from there, watch my video to see the story I had that came with, I think it’s an interesting one!! I also love how there’s not only clothes but also shoes, room decor and I also managed to get my hands on some christmas decorations they had going on! I got most of them from the Primark that’s found in Edinburgh! I also managed to get a bed sheet, which I cannot wait to use! Blogmas Day 18 – This year’s Christmas Tree.

Hi everyone,

I am so sorry that my blogmas post of day 18 is coming a day late, but I didn’t manage to write up one last night after work!! Anyways, I still wanted to put one up and I hope that today’s won’t be late! I hope you all had a lovely Tuesday and of course wish you a lovely day today as well!

Today’s blogmas post is focused around my family’s Christmas Tree of this year. Unlike other years, were we put up our normal fake Christmas tree, this year my mum said lets go ahead and buy a real one!

The experience of buying a real one in Malta is not quite common. Malta’s climate doesn’t support evergreen trees. In fact the people who import these trees into their shops, are imported from abroad! And my dad asked whether it’s possible to try and plant the tree after the festivities are over, but was told that such a thing is impossible due to Malta’s dry and warm climate. It doesn’t snow here as well, so that is another factor as to why evergreen trees are not able to live on the Maltese Islands, which is a pity. I love watching vloggers from abroad who go and pick their Christmas tree, and make it a fun day out, whilst something like that we cannot do in Malta. Yet we went to a plant shop in Attard and picked one from a shop.

We got home and opened it up in our sitting room and I swear I never saw such a pretty tree ever before! We decorated it two days later as we needed to get some new decorations as the ones we had were old but also weren’t enough to cover such a large tree!!

We chose to decorate it with bronze and pink bobbles but also put up angels too. We then later on added present bobbles too. We wanted to keep it simple and not add tinsel either, and we have some lights also going on but unfortunately in the images they weren’t picked up so much as I took the photos during the day!!

Blogmas Day 17 – Vlogmas Week 2

I know that this blogmas is a little late but better late than never, am I right? I hope you are all doing well we are so close to christmas now!! 

This blogmas is just sharing with you all my vlogmas week 2 vlog!! I hope you enjoy it, it includes me decorating the christmas tree, lots of food and lots of Nemo!!

Blogmas Day 15 – My Favourite Christmas Movies

Hi everyone!!

I hope you are doing well and having a great Saturday!! It is so windy today here in Malta, and it is getting chilly!!! 

Before I head out, I wanted to leave you with my blogmas post of the day! Today I stayed editing my vlogmas week 2 for tomorrow and cannot wait for you all to see it!!

I recently watched The Polar Express and even though I am a little old, I still loved it! A Christmas Prince is found on Netflx and I had loved watching it last year and the second one came out now showing their wedding. I have to admit I started watching it and fell asleep. But to be fair I am falling asleep a lot quicker these days!!

I love Reese and Vince in the Four Christmases and it is just so funny! Christmas Inheritance is another Netflix christmas movie, I really should check out what’s new this year on Netflix as Christmas movies!!Love Actually is just a classic and one that I watched more than once!

Office Christmas Party is one that I watched not long ago and I enjoyed it. Home Alone is a classic however, I have yet to see all of them! I love Elf and will always do so as well as the Santa Clause. I remember watching those on VHS!!! And finally my number one is the Holiday it is a classic with Cameron DIaz and Drew Barrymore and let’s not forget Jude Law!!

Blogmas Day 14 – PixiGlow Cake – Review

How are we all doing? It’s another Friday, yet again!! Days are flying by!! 

Today’s blog post is about a PR package I had received from Pixi. They always surprise me and send the cutest of packages. I am so grateful to receive from them and never thought that I would receive such things!! Thank you Pixi!! You made my day when I had received this!! 

This package included a selfie light – which I need!! So thank you so much for that Pixi!! And it also included the two PixiGlow Cake palettes. 

These light-diffusing palettes help achieve a natural, radiant and healthy complexion with flushed apple cheeks, subtle contouring and a glowing highlight. The shades in this palette are made to look like a gradient effect, which make it easier to create a sheer wash of luminous colour that enhances what Pixi call a PixiGlow! 

I love the idea of having a 3-in-1 palette consisting a blush, a highlight and a contour shade. Its formula is silky soft and provides with a nice natural complexion. It also includes some interesting ingredients – 
• Ceramides – which help restore the skin’s moisture barrier. 
• Peptides  – which plump and firm your skin. 
• Grape Seed Extract – which improves skin’s elasticity. 

How to apply – 

Use each colour of this pressed power combo individually or blend them together to achieve the perfect seamless PixiGlow. I have not tried using them altogether but I am intrigued to!!  

There are 2 different palettes – the GildedBare Glow and the PinkChampagne Glow.  Both palettes are super pigmented. 

The GIldedBare Glow is more subtle if you ask me and presents us with more natural looking shades. I love the highlight of this palette as well as the blush. As I said, I haven’t tried all three shades together at once, but I am intrigued to do this with this one. I would call this one the everyday PixiGlow if you ask me.

Whilst the other one in PinkChampagne Glow would be the night time version! The PinkChampagne Glow has a richer deep pink toned blush and contour shade. I think I prefer using these shades individually.

Blogmas Day 11 – Gift Ideas for HIM.

Hi everyone, 

Hope you are all doing well and are having a great week! Apologies for yesterday’s absence of a blogmas post but we went to buy a REAL Christmas tree and kind of got distracted by preparing the room. However, we haven’t decorated it yet, so I am so excited to do that and hope to dedicate a post on our Christmas Tree. 

Today’s blogmas post are 5 gift ideas for HIM. If you enjoyed my gift ideas for her, I hope you enjoy this one too! So let’s begin … 

#1 Sudio Earphones/Headphones

I guess this could be similar to gift ideas for her, but I think this is good for him too! I had given Luke a pair of Sony headphones once and he loved them. Although, now I believe that Sudio have good headphones too and you could opt for the Sudio Regent in Black.

Or else if you are not looking for bulky headphones, you can give the Sudio NIVÅ which are perfect for when he goes training!! I gave mine to Luke and he loves going jogging with them!!

Ok so yes the first  2 ideas are similar to the post I made for Gift Ideas for her but I think Daniel Wellington have some cute gift sets for him too!! #4 Perfumes 

So here’s an idea that I have used. I remember my first gift to Luke was a perfume! So yeah I think it’s a good idea, don’t you think? And well I did some research as I need to share with you all the ones which are most popular right now, and found these –

Blogmas Day 9 – Vlogmas Week 1 is UP!!

Hi everyone!! 

I hope you are all having an amazing Sunday!! Today’s blogmas is going to be related to my YT Channel as a new video came out!!

And this time it isn’t a normal beauty video where I am either creating a makeup look or testing out new products! But rather it’s VLOGMAS week 1!! I am so excited to share this with you all!! 

Besides doing these blogs which I guess you are getting to know me better I am also doing Vlogmas but week by week rather than by day! I hope you enjoy it and I hope that you can also share with me what you have been up to this past week! I would love to get to know!

Blogmas Day 8 – Favourite festive candles.

Hi everyone, 

I hope all is having an amazing Saturday! 

Today’s blogmas post is sharing with you all my five favourite festive candles !! I just love candles, I love lighting them up and leaving them on whilst I work on my laptop! They just add to provide a sense of relief and relaxed feeling in me! So below you will find two candles from Yankee, and 3 which were handmade. Two years ago I had gotten these candles from Kandle Handmade Scented Candles meaning before I left for Stirling and had loved some of her scents.

At the moment she stopped making them but I love her scents!! And I guess maybe you can find these in other candle places. If that makes sense! I only have Creme Brulee left and I just don’t wanna burn it cos it’s just amazing and they really fill the room up with their amazing scent!! 

#1 Creme Brulee – warm creamy vanilla custard pudding drenched with creamy buttery caramel sauce.
#2 Cinnamon Sticks – has an intense aroma of freshly ground cinnamon bark. 
#3 – Baked Apple Spice – warm spiced apple fragrance and this blends together with notes of clove, cinnamon and ginger, sweetened with maple syrup and vanilla.
#4 Christmas Spice – It is a mixture of cinnamon, nutmeg, basil, balsam, fir and warm spices. 
#5 Christmas Cookie -Buttery rich, vanilla scented, holiday sugar cookies.

The last one is the one I am burning right now!! But I love these scents for the Christmas Time! They are just warm, calming and wonderful scents for Christmas Time!!!
