I came over to write up a little short blog as I am importing some footage for future videos and will start editing my weekly vlog soon.
On Friday I uploaded a Primark Fashion Haul and I would love to share it with you all as well! Last April I went up to London and bought some Spring and Summer Clothes! I also got my hand on some Primark Makeup and am planning on doing a TESTING OUT PRIMARK MAKEUP video, what do you all think?
Anyways here is the video –
You will all notice that I fell in love with pink things and I love their footwear as well! I also got hold of some Primark Essentials– Chokers, Rings and Underwear – you know those things that when you go to Primark you must get as they are so worth it!!
Do you love going to Primark?
Anywho’s I will be off! I hope you like this video and this mini blog post! Until next time!
Have a lovely day and thank you so much for supporting my blog!
How are you all doing? June has arrived, and with June here Malta has gotten a lot of sun and a lot of heat.
But since May has passed I thought why not do a blog post all about my May 2017 favourites. I have been trying out some of these products for a while now, some have been at me longer than others. But anyways, here we go …
#1 Benefit – The POREfessional Face Primer
So as you know, I attended Fashion Week in Malta last week, and this basically saved me! It is quite a heavy formula and very creamy but it does the job of hiding those yucky pores I so hate!
#2 Urban Decay – All Nighter Liquid Foundation
Yes, this is quite a heavy foundation, but I really like how it sits and stays on my skin. It has a high coverage formula and just blends on nicely. I love applying this foundation with my Beauty Blender.
#3 NYX HD Photogenic Concealer
I love this concealer and have it in 2 shades. The shade I had been using mostly in May was CW 04 – Beige. I love using this shade to cover up my blemishes and any redness I would be having!
#4 Rimmel – Match Perfection Loose Powder – Translucent
I love using this powder to bake my under eye concealer. It just sets it so nicely and doesn’t get creased throughout the day. Mine has been at me for a few months now and the tub has gotten all messy! So maybe if this was in a better form of packaging I would love it even more!
I love this highlighting palette, I had saved up for it and was so happy once it had arrived. It includes six gorgeous shades, and wouldn’t change it for anything. When I am going out for a special occasion I always whip this out! My favourite shades are Glo Getter and Day Dream.
#6 Violet Voss – Holy Grail Eyeshadow Palette
This is the last makeup product I bought and for now will not be buying more… I hope. But I had been saving up for it for a while and I finally got it. I was either going to buy this one or the HUDA beauty one but decided for this one. The pigmentation of these shadows is amazing and they blend so nicely. I love the colour choice in this palette, you can create so many different looks!
However, I do have one sad thing to say – I thought the packaging would be more of high end quality, instead it is quite bulky and for the price you pay I was a little bit disappointed by the box.
#7 BH Cosmetics Liquid Lipstick – Glory
This is the perfect red shade! I love it and I love the formula of the BH Cosmetics Liquid Lipsticks. They literally last all day and they won’t go anywhere! In fact when removing them I turn into a clown because they really just stay there on the lips!
#8 Urban Decay – All Nighter Setting Spray
Last week I needed my makeup to not run anywhere, I needed it to remain the way when I finished doing my makeup. And this is the product to keep any makeup going somewhere! I love this, it doesn’t have a scent and it settles nicely on the skin!
Those were my May 2017 favourites!
Have you tried any of these products?
What were your May favourites? I would love to know!
Today’s blog post is all about the Makeup brand called Blinc. A few days ago I attended a Makeup Launch party at Roseberry, Malta where an explanation of the makeup brand was given by Nataliya, with Danilo and Michaela helping her out.
I really enjoyed myself at the event and met other Maltese Bloggers! Everyone was so lovely, and we got ourselves some baci, macaroons and a lovely welcome drink.
The event itself was organised well and a presentation was given on the products that are available from blinc. If you live in Malta like me you can find these products sold at Roseberry.
Blinc is an American brand and is found at many high-end retailers such as Sephora.Blinc only focuses on eye products and are unique in their concepts – as they are the first makeup brand to create a tube forming mascara and peelableeyeliner!
The products claim to be water resistant, smudge proof, flake proof and fade proof. They claim that you can sleep with the mascara on and in the morning you can wake up with it and notice that it never moved!Blinc is also a makeup brand for those individuals who have sensitive eyes, contact lens wearers, active people and those that desire a natural effortless look.
They have various eye products from mascaras, eyeliners, eyeshadow primer, eyebrow mousse, an eyeshadow palette and various makeup brushes.Blinc is a company that takes its time when producing a product as it will take a number of years before launching any product.
At the event we were all presented with a Mascara and Eyeliner from Blinc. I will now give a brief overview of the 2 products and then share my thoughts on them after having tried them out.
This comes in various shades from black, blue, brown, grey to dark purple. It is the world’s first peelable eyeliner– I know, I was like how is this possible? This eyeliner is unlike any other and it isn’t made of a cosmetic paint like conventional eyeliners. It claims to not fade, smudge, run or flake – even if you cry or rub your eyes with your fingertips it won’t budge!
The eyeliner helps create a dramatic look that lasts all day. It claims to be great for those with sensitive eyes, contact lens wearers, performers and active people who want their eyeliner to stay in place since the moment they applied it.
When it comes to removing it you will not need any makeup remover. It simply comes off by sliding it off.
My thoughts – The eyeliner applied on easily and I had to go over it with two strokes to create my simple winged eye look. I let it dry for a few seconds and then I tested out whether its no smudge claim was true. And I used my fingertips and tried to rub it off but it didn’t move. (In next week’s vlog you will see my trying it out on camera as I tried again later on in the day.) So trust me when I say this that the eyeliner will not move or transfer on the lids.
When it came to removing it I applied warm water and forgot that I could just simply peel it off. Nonetheless, it came off and I did end up with black pieces of the eyeliner in my hands. But don’t worry, I knew that was normal and just used a face cloth to dry up the area.
This is an interesting mascara as besides promising buildable volume and length that lasts all day; it also forms tiny water-resistant ‘tubes’ around your lashes! It is an oil free based mascara and it claims that it doesn’t run, smudge, clump or flake. This mascara comes in two colours either black or dark brown.
Again this product was clinically tested and is great for those active individuals, those with sensitive eyes and those who were contact lenses.
My Thoughts – I applied the mascara on both my top and bottom lashes. I applied it twice on my top lashes which added more volume and length.
Again I tried smudging it off but it wouldn’t budge. It doesn’t transfer on the lids and just sits well all day. The volume effect didn’t decrease if only it remained the same throughout the day.
When it came to removing it again I used warm water and it just easily came off.
I truly was impressed by how both these products stayed on all day without any movement that you wouldn’t be too happy with. I was mostly impressed when it came to the removal when normally I would have to rub a couple of times before my eye makeup would be totally gone and the struggle was real! However, with these two products the struggle wasn’t there and they just simply slid off!
Have you ever tried out these products? Was this the first time you heard of Blinc? What do you think of the brand? Comment down below!
Thank you so much for reading! Thank you once again to Roseberry and Paloma Cosmetics ltd for inviting me and for a lovely event!
I am so excited to be sharing with you this Youtube Video. As you know lip videos are my favourite ones to film. I have previously filmed my favourite seasonal lipsticks however, never did one for Winter until now!!
So here are my favourite 10 lipsticks that are all reasonably priced as all of them are drugstore as I now have realised!!
MUA Velvet Lip Lacquer in Harmony
As you know I love the MUA Velvet Lip Lacquers. Even though they aren’t long last and need a constant re application especially when food or drink is involved, their range is great. They have so many shades in their collection including four new SPRING shades1!!
Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip in Point Zero
This was one of the collaborations that Kathleen Lights did with Colourpop and of course I had to get my hands on it! I love the formula of their satin lips and this lip shade screams winter!! Kathleen also released a new set of three lipsticks with Colourpop called Aquarius Bundle!
Essence XXXL Longlasting Velvet Matte Lipgloss in Silky Red
The formula isn’t the best but the scent of this lipstick is AMAZING! I have only managed to get my hands on one of these shades from this range. I love the formula as it is very soft and creamy!
Focallure Matte Lips in Shade 03 Burnt Amber
I purchased these off Ebay and I love the range. They are a little patchy and a little bit sticky but when I apply some sort of lip moisturiser before hand it definitely helps!
3ina Lipstick Shade 102
3INA is a brand that we recently got in Malta, there are 3 branches and I love the shop and the way it is designed! I love their products, and they are well priced too! The only thing that I don’t like about this lipstick is the bullet is so annoying to apply with!
BH Cosmetics Bh Liquid Lipstick in Clara
I absolutely love the formula of these lipsticks! They dry to a matte perfect finish and they have the fastest drying formula that I have ever tried! They are also long lasting as well!
NYX Soft Matte Lip Creme in Copenhagen
I love the Soft Matte Lip Range from NYX I think they have such a lovely range of shades! The scent that these lipsticks have is AMAZING!! I like this shade however you have to be so careful around it as it tends to get patchy!
HUDA Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick in Vixen – Ebay Replica
So I cannot lie and tell you that this is the original products but no it is a knock off from Ebay. And I was hesitant in trying these out but I did and actually like how the colour pay off truly is! They do have a scent to them not a chemically one as you would expect off ebay! They are a little patchy and need constant re application but apart from those factors I love this lipstick!
Milani Amore Matte Lip Creme in Magnetic
The MilaniAmore Matte Lip Creme’s are by far my favourite liquid lipsticks! They have the sweetest scents from all these lipsticks I have mentioned! They are not that long lasting but are so soft and creamy! They apply so well and smoothly across the lips !! The applicator is helpful in creating a precise shape onto your lips!
Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Dominatrix – Ebay Replica
Again, this is a knock off and yes I did not want to spend all that money on the real thing, and was I happy with my decision? YES!! I love it. It is a little bit drying but again applying some moisturiser or lip balm before applying this lipstick definitely helps!! I love the shade it’s sort of a dusty mauavey brown and pink mixed together!!
Today I am reviewing the Exfoliating FacialGel. I use it twice a week after I cleanse my face.
What I like most about all these products is that they all contain such great ingredients which are a helpful factor towards gaining healthy, soft and smooth skin!
The Facial Gel’s formula is said to deeply cleanse your skin and leave it “smooth and supple.”
It contains Jojoba seed oil, which is a natural skin conditioning emollient that is empowered by the exfoliating apricot seeds found inside. So I am guess that these should help in getting your skin to be as soft and supple as can be!
On the tube it says to apply over a wet surface however, what I do is I cleanse my face as usual then lightly dry it with a face cloth and immediately apply this exfoliant after.
I find that this way it is more effective and hopefully in this way the exfoliant is getting under my skin more and releasing it off any impurities.
I apply it with my finger tips and onto my skin and rub it gently in circular motions. I let it sit for a bit and then wash it and apply moisturiser and the rest of my skin routine as per usual.
What I do NOT like about this exfoliant is the little bits it has in it. I find it hard to rinse them off and even as I am applying my moisturiser they are still there.
Apart from them, I like using this exfoliant to freshen up and smoothen my face.
However, I have to add that the Arad Facial Mud Mask leaves my skin way softer than the Exfoliant Facial Gel.
Have you ever tried this product or any other Arad Product?
Hope you are all having a lovely Sunday !! My goodness aren’t I exhausted !! It’s Sunday evening and I still have a lot of things I need to do so I would be satisfied with what I want to get done before a new week starts again !!

I am so excited to share with you all today’s video! As you know I am a big fan of MUA – Makeup Academy.
They sell such good quality products, a variety of products and they are all so inexpensive!
Today’s video is all about 5 new shades from their Velvet Lip Lacquer range that they had released last Autumn.
The Velvet Lip Lacquer range include a variety of products. I also recently purchased two more which aren’t in this video. But maybe I could do a haul of what other new products I purchased from them recently!
The formula of these lipsticks dries to a complete matte look and doesn’t have a strong scent. They however, do not last that long although this varies with colours. Another distinction is that some colours – mostly darker ones – are extremely patchy so you have to be careful on how you apply them.
Also, it was my first time trying a blue lipstick and I have mixed feelings about it! It also took the longest to dry as the others dried quickly.
The shades are –
Posie – A cute light nude brown shade
Hustle – A dark pink/red shade
Firecracker – A fun pinky red
Splash – A not too dark or not too light blue – just in between – shade
Flair – A vampy red
