Best Friend does my Voiceover Challenge!!

Everyone, it’s 2017!!!

I hope you all had a lovely New Year’s! Mine went by in a blur! Literally it flew by, I didn’t realise how quick a day can pass when you are so tired from all the dancing that you did the night before!!

Anyway’s back on Saturday – the last day of 2016 – I uploaded a video and never got a chance to share it here on my blog. As I share every video I upload here on my blog I thought that this video couldn’t be the first one that I forget to share here!

Especially since it is a video that I will constantly watch even in years to come! I never did this before but in this video I was accompanied with Amy who is my best friend and I love her to bits! She even agreed to do this video with me and I am so grateful for her doing so, because not only did it come so good but I really enjoyed doing it with her as well!

Screen Shot 2017-01-02 at 12.12.57.png

So lately I have noticed this boyfriend/best friend does my makeup voiceover challenge and I thought that this would be a fun video to do and share with you guys! I really hope you enjoy watching it!

As a note please remember that we both did the script and she in by no means or ways did she say those things with an intention to hurt me but we both wrote the voiceover to be as funny as possible!!

Blogmas Day 18 & 19 – New Video and lots of Lunches & Dinners

Hi everyone,

So I wanted to update you on my busy weekend apart from the Essence event I went to on Saturday.

December is a busy month, besides all the Christmas and Holiday preparations it consists of lots of birthdays and even my yearly anniversary of when Luke and I started going out.

I cannot believe it has been two years already. This weekend I had 2 dinners and 1 lunch! And I just wanted to share the experiences I had with you all! Now if you want to skip this part and go and watch my new video that I just put up then zoom on downwards!

So on Friday evening Luke and I went to Blue Elephant for our 2 year anniversary.

The place is beautiful, I cannot argue at all there. I mean it is in one of the best hotels in Malta- Hilton. The setting was beautiful, the table fixtures were high class. . . I mean I never went to a restaurant that had cushions on their chairs, so you would feel more comfortable. Nor have I ever went to eat a place that had a bridge with a small river of sorts.

So yes the place is beautiful and all that !! But the food for someone who is Gluten and Egg Intolerant is HORRIBLE!!

First they come with these crackers and they told me that they are gluten free. So I ate them and my they were good! But then when the basket was empty another waiter comes and tells me I am so sorry but the chef has just informed that they are NOT gluten free!! That is ridiculous. I mean thank god I don’t have any quick horrible reactions when eating gluten but that just ruined my night.

See my intolerance has gotten kind of worse. Before I used to only feel itchy and had little bumps appear. But now I get horrible stomach cramps, I feel so bloated and even have a whirlwind of gas. So yes eating gluten is a definite no no now as before I used to say, ‘Oh I can endure some scratchy sensations!’ But now I don’t make up excuses as to why I can take a McDonalds or scrumptious cake.

So knowing I just ate gluten made my stomach turn and the night went downhill from there. For the starter I wanted Chicken Satay but no I couldn’t cos it had gluten. For the main I wanted another chicken dish because we ended up taking Thai Fish cakes as the starter. The chicken I wanted also had gluten and so I had to resort to some sort of chicken which for me when I tasted it, it turned out to be the chewy soup chicken!

This was my look for Friday Evening!

I swear my favourite part of the night was my scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream, the fruit plate that was complementary because Luke told them we were celebrating, the flower I received at the end of the night and the wine! So anything besides the food!

So anyways that passed and the next morning my friend and I went to the Essence event and then we went for lunch. We went to the cafe which is next to JB stores. Forgive me all but I forgot the name, but the cafe is too cute. I ordered a salmon salad and it was delicious!

So then the evening came, and I had my brother’s birthday dinner. I told you from the title that this includes a lot of food intel!

(Follow me on Snapchat – kezikezi – this was my look for Saturday Evening!)

So we went to Gululu in St.Julian’s. His choice! It is a typical Maltese restaurant. My brother informed them about my lucky intolerance and so I was at ease! Or so I thought!

They told us that they cannot do a pasta dish for me as every sauce either has gluten or egg in it. Even a TOMATO SAUCE! How can a Tomato sauce have egg or gluten? I think they just didn’t have any gluten free pasta period!

And the only meat they had was one dish which was not that appealing to me. So unfortunately, I had to take another salad, this time a Chicken Salad. And I was so sad about this that I didn’t even take a photo of my food. See I take photos of the food I take when I go out to eat all the time, but not this one!

Anywho’s so that was my luck with food this weekend! I hope I didn’t bore you to death! I am currently in bed all cosy with my Christmas Spice candle burning and just felt like writing!

Before I end this post I would like to embed my new video that I just posted –

It is a simple autumn makeup tutorial which I filmed quite a while back! So apologies for it going up now, but I always wanted to upload other videos but this week was the week for it to go up!

I also would like to add that tomorrow I shall be flying to Rome, so if you see a lack of BLOGMAS you know why! I will try my best to put up something, however I will not be taking any technological apparatus besides a mobile phone with me! So I will be quite limited haha! I want to enjoy this holiday with Luke as best as I can!

Are you going to be travelling this Christmas? What are you all going to be doing on Christmas Day?

Thank you so much for reading!

I hope you all have a lovely day!

Blogmas Day 17 – Essence Cosmetics Buffet

What a weekend, all jam packed !!

And I still need to pack !! I shall be flying off to Rome, therefore I do not know if I will be able to finish off Blogmas! I return on Saturday!!

Apologies if I don’t! But I will try my best!

I would like to start my blog post by sharing with you all an amazing event that happened in Malta & Gozo!

As you all know one of my favourite brands is Essence. I have been buying their products I think since I started using makeup .. so around when I was 16 years old. I used to go down to the pharmacy by walk and buy five pounds worth of products. And Essence is such an inexpensive brand so I managed to collect quite a bit.

I loved their nail polishes, I remember I tried to collect every shade. However, now I have acrylic nails so I do not use nail polish besides on my toes. But I still have some running around my room.

Anywho’s because I am going out of point here! Essence Cosmetics Malta have set up an event called the Essence Cosmetics Buffet. They did it last year but I did not get a chance to go because if I remember correctly it was held once in Gozo.

But this year they ran it three times in three different locations – Pavi, Arkadia Gozo and JB Stores!

See when the event was held in Pavi 2 weeks ago I was meant to go, but I was stuck in bed with temperature. So I patiently waited for the third event at JB Stores, and my friend and I went yesterday and we had so much fun!!

See the buffet basically was that there is a huge box filled with lots of makeup, and you either pay €5 to use one hand or €10 to use two hands to grab as many products as you can and place them in the bag. All the products you manage to place in the bag are yours and those that fall out are unfortunately not!

Christabel took a video clip of me picking out the items and putting them into the bags which I thank her for doing so!! So as you can see I managed to grab quite a bit! Thank goodness for my dad’s genes of having big hands.

But yes there were dads and boyfriends trying to win their loved ones as many makeup products as they can. My friend and I were lucky and got quite a handful of stuff!

I did get some duplicates especially since I did it twice. But I gave some to my mum and some I am keeping for a future giveaway. Wink Wink!! I got the new foundation that I am so excited to try out and the a new powder which I saw a review about which should be good. I got some lip products, nail products and eyeliners. I also got 5 mousse foundation tubs which is hilarious!!

I also got 2 small eyeshadow palettes and lots of green mascaras which I have already tried and loved. I use them first then cover it up using black mascara! The green mascara really separated and lengthened my lashes!!

Also, with every ticket to participate in the event we got a perfume for free. That is so amazing!! We really got our money’s worth!!

If you would like to see a blog post/video showing you guys what I managed to grab let me know in the comments down below !!!

Thank you so much for reading!! Have a lovely day!

Blogmas Day 13 & 14 – Christmas Makeup Tutorial

Hi everyone,

Christmas is getting closer and closer, and what better way to prepare for the lovely holiday then plan a look?

15451366_10209966094521612_639740160_nHere is my Christmas Makeup Look that I would love to wear on that day!

Something really simple to do.

I love simple looks, meaning without any false lashes, not too much contour and just the right amount of highlight. That’s my style.

The false lashes part is something I am trying to include but I get too nervous to even think about applying any false lashes. I have a pair locked up in my makeup collection waiting for me to use! But I just get so nervous of messing it up so I don’t even bother with the stress … one day … one day!!

Anyways, for those of you who are interested in the Christmas Look I created then here is the video for you to watch! I really hope you like it!!

Blogmas Day 12 – Max Factor Smooth Miracle Primer & Miracle Match Foundation Review

Hi everyone,

I recently bought two new products that Max Factor recently came out with and have tried them out twice so far.

The products I am talking about are the Smooth Miracle Primer and the Miracle Match Blur and Nourish Foundation.

I have previously tried out the Face Finity 3 in 1 foundation, and that is still one of my favourite foundations to use; it gives such lovely coverage and you can make do without applying any concealer!

I have read many great comments about these so I was very excited to try these out.

Let’s start off with the Smooth Miracle Primer. It comes in a tube with a pump. I prefer pumps to tubes where you have to squeeze to push the product out. I feel that with a pump you can control how much product comes out.

The primer comes in a similar texture form of a moisturiser.

I used my fingertips to apply the primer onto my face and blended it in circular motions.

I noticed that when applying it, it left my skin feelings soft, smooth and not at all sticky.

It did not leave any redness, which is surprising as whichever primer I tend to use always leaves me with a red face. However, this one did not.

It did decrease the intensity of my pores, which is primarily why I wanted to try out this primer.

Therefore, this is a primer which I shall start using regularly as I did not feel it to be sticky and it also helped my foundation stay in place. And it also helped my overall makeup look stay in place for a long amount of time.

Now, let’s move onto writing about the Miracle Match Blur and Nourish Foundation. I got mine in the shade 5o Natural.

Thanks to the primer the foundation blended smoothly onto my skin.

The foundation states that it is a medium to full coverage and can give a lovely natural finish and this is helped by the “translucent particles” that are found in the foundation. They allow, “the skin’s natural highlights to shine through”. These reflecting particles also help, “the skin to radiate and blurs imperfections.”

I applied the foundation with a Milani Foundation flat Brush. I found the foundation to have a medium coverage. I love foundations that leave your skin natural looking and this foundation gave that result. It also blended very easily onto my skin.

It did minimise the appearance of enlarged pores (not completely hide them but minimise them) and therefore I was a happy trooper with that result!

Primer & Foundation with a Translucent Powder on top

Overall, both products gives the skin a radiant finish, minimised the appearance of pores and does not give a sticky feeling whatsoever. They easily blended onto my skin and sat perfectly throughout the day.

They are a little price-y so if you would like to invest in a new primer & foundation I recommend these.

Have you tried out any Max Factor products? Have you tried these out? What do you think of them?

I really hope you enjoyed reading! Thank you so much for doing so.

Have a lovely day!

Blogmas Day 10 & 11 – New Candles & a New Video!!

Hi everyone,

The days are honestly flying or zooming by!! I cannot believe that in 9 days I will be in Rome with Luke – our first holiday together !! I am so excited!

Anyways today’s blog post is going to consist of new candles and a new video that I just uploaded.

Let’s start off with my new candles that I bought from Kandle – Handmade Scented Candles ( – A Maltese Store.

I am so happy with my purchases. I bought three all related to the winter cold/Christmas months ahead!
I bought Christmas Spice which is burning at the moment. It is the only one I have tried but so far I am in love with. It is a mixture of cinnamon, nutmeg, basil, balsam, fir and warm spices. The owner told me it is one of the most popular scents, and I couldn’t disagree with her! I love it!
The scent is simply relaxing and lovely to have in your room. (Follow me on Snapchat – kezikezi)
I also got Campfire Marshmallow, it should be a sweet-and-smoky toasted marshmallow fragrance with clear vanilla marshmallow notes on a strong base of smoky campfire. I am looking forward to trying out this one as well!
Finally I got Cinnamon Sticks which should have an intense aroma of freshly ground cinnamon bark. See I love cinnamon so I figured why not!
So yes I now have a lovely choice of candles to choose from!
Now moving onto the new video that I just uploaded a few moments ago!
A while back I had uploaded a Filmora Video Editor Review & Demo and I have been using Filmora ever since!
Recently they just came out with a new Effects Pack, as now they are coming out with one every month!
I would like to thank Filmora for giving me this opportunity to review such an effects pack as I love it – it is so cute and Christmas-y it also includes New Year’s Special Effects!
The pack I am writing about is the Holiday Collection Effects Pack – you must try it out!
Have a look at my video where I talk about how to install it and the lovely effects it comes with!
Have you ever tried Filmora?
Do you like burning candles?
Thank you so much for reading my blog post!!

Have a lovely Sunday !!

Max Factor Malta Event

Hi everyone,

I hope you are having a fantastic Sunday.

Yesterday I stopped by the Max Factor Malta pop up stand at Tigne, Point in Malta.

I also met up with Stefy Pugislivech who is a well known Maltese Blogger/Youtuber. I personally love watching her videos. It was such a pleasure to meet her, she also gave me some of her opinions on various products from Max Factor and was very helpful.

The only products I honestly have tried from Max Factor was the Face Finity All Day Flawless 3 in 1 Foundation, which is one of my all time favourite foundation. I still reach for it as it has great coverage.

I have also tried the Creme Puff Face Powder which sometimes I like and sometimes I don’t. I guess you can say I have a love and hate relationship with it. Sometimes I see that it set all my foundation in place and gives a nice finished makeup look however, other times I see that the foundation would have moved so the coverage decreased.

I don’t know if it makes sense. This also could be because I am still learning on how to apply makeup everyday!

But I have been seeing lots of reviews on 2 of their new products which are on my Wishlist. And they are from their latest face range – Miracle Touch. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to swatch products from this range and others; and Stefy was so kind and showed me some of these products.

Screen Shot 2016-11-27 at 19.56.18.png

(Image taken from

One product that I swatched was the Smooth Miracle Primer. When I swatched it against my skin it felt super soft and had a thick consistency. I would like to try it out and see how it would look on my skin and see if it will minimise my pores, as that is what my main skin issue is when applying foundation.

Screen Shot 2016-11-27 at 19.57.20.png

(Image taken from

From the Miracle Touch range, there’s also a new Miracle Match Foundation. This has a medium to full coverage. It should create a natural, dewy complexion and blurs imperfections. I hope to try out this foundation with the primer and see what the results are.

Screen Shot 2016-11-27 at 19.58.07.png

(Image taken from

There’s also a new Miracle Touch Foundation. It does’t come in a liquid form but is more of a solid to liquid formula and comes in a tub. It should help in covering uneven skin textures. Personally, I think I would prefer to try out the Miracle Match one over this one.

Screen Shot 2016-11-27 at 19.59.38.png

Besides the new range, the Max Factor pop up stand was also showing the new mascara which has a wand that I have never tried before. I have heard mixed reviews about this but I guess you never know unless you try. And the mascara I am talking about is the False Lash Epic Mascara.

A product that I also want to try out one of is from their Marilyn Monroe Lipstick range. I know right, a lipstick that I haven’t tried! And I am supposed to be a lipstick junkie?

Stefy was wearing Cabernet which I loved. I also swatched Berry Red (as seen on above photo).

I also swatched a lipstick from the Lip Finity Long Lasting Lipstick range (I forgot the name!). I liked how it swatched.

I have yet to try out both these lipstick ranges.

I do hope you enjoyed reading my post.

Have you tried any of these products that I mentioned? If so, can you share your thoughts about them?

Hope you have a lovely week ahead!

Huge London Makeup Haul

Before I start this blog post I would like to remind everyone that I live in Malta. Therefore, stores like Urban Decay, Benefit, Makeup Forever and Huda are not found here where I live.

That is why I ended up buying quite a handful because I wanted to make sure that some stuff on my wishlist which is usually hard to order from Malta, I bought whilst I was in London.

I don’t do this type of shopping on a regular basis, so when I found myself in London surrounded by all these amazing stores, I splurged and I guess treated myself.

Anywho’s if you have not realised this blog post is going to be about my latest Youtube video found on my channel –

It shows you what I got whilst I was in London back in December. But I also included an order I had made on Feelunique a few days before as there was a good sale going around.

So I put everything in one not to do two haul videos after one another!!

I have had time to try out these products. So whilst giving swatches in the video I also gave a mini review.

So be sure to check out my video if you would like to know more about the product. As what I am going to be writing in this blog post may just be a sentence or two on the products.

Here is the video –

The products that were mentioned –

  • Benefit Porefessional Primer

I have been wanting this primer in forever! I am so happy I got it and let me just say I only use this when I need to cover up my pores like crazy. I do not want to use this on a day to day basis or whenever I come to apply my makeup.

Besides it being an expensive primer, for me it is more difficult to get so I have to take care of this baby and make it last for a really long time !!

  • Urban Decay All Nighter Liquid Foundation

This foundation is perfect! It gives you a nice coverage and is a very nice foundation to have on your skin. It does not feel heavy or cakey whatsoever.

  • Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Spray

I actually have not tried out this spray yet as I am using another one.

  • Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer

I have tried this concealer with the foundation and it really does cover dark circles under your eyes or any blemishes. I love this and finds that it settles down nicely with the foundation.

  • HUDA Lip Contour – Icon

This is a gorgeous shade and perfect for fall! I love it !

  • HUDA Beauty Liquid Matte – Bombshell

I did not like the shade at first, but then grew to love it. The formula of it is so amazing and not drying at all!!

  • Kiko 30 Days Extension Mascara

I have tried this but not stuck with it. So I cannot say if it works or not. I should finish the 30 days and so I should start again and see if I can finish my task!!

  • Kiko Long Eyes Active Mascara

I love this, it gives you natural looking long lashes.

  • Kiko Extra Sculpt Waterproof Mascara

This gives you the extra volume, and is my favourite between the 2 kiko Mascara that I tried so far!

  • Vichy Purete Thermale waterproof eye makeup remover

This eye makeup remover works so well and removes all your eye makeup !! So you will not be waking up looking like a PANDA !!

  • Boots Hair Tangle Teezer

I love my hair detangler !! Love using it in the shower to spread out my conditioner and love using it after I come out of the shower to remove any knots!!

  • Sleek Matte Me Ultra Smooth Matte Lip creams – Fired Up, Vino Tinto, Birthday Suit, Petal and Velvet Slipper

This formula of liquid lipsticks is very creamy. Even though it is not long lasting it is one of my favourite formulas nonetheless.

If you would like to see all the swatches of the shades please watch the video!

If you would like me to do a lip swatch video, let me know in the comments down below!!

  • Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid Lipsticks – Nude Flush

I love this shade, such a natural everyday pink.

  • Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara

I have been wanting this mascara in forever as I see so many bloggers using this! And I love the result it gives, not clumpy, doesn’t transfer on the lids and gives great results!

  • Real Techniques Blending Sponge

I bought this as a backup as I already use one. I love it especially for blending out the concealer.

  • Elizabeth Arden Flawless Finish Perfectly Satin 24 HR Foundation

Even though I bought mine in the wrong shade it still settles nicely on the skin and gives great coverage!

  • Makeup Forever HD Foundation

I love love this foundation. Between the All Nighter by Urban Decay and this, now that I have tried both equally I love them equally. They have similar finished results in my opinion!!

  • Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer

I love this concealer. So many of these products were influneced by Kathleen Lights for me to buy !! And she was right about this one !! I love it as an under eye brightener!

  • Revlon Colorstay Makeup Foundation Normal to Dry Skin

Have not tried this out yet, but have had another one before. And I used to love it and only wear it for special occasions as it has full coverage.

  • Rimmel Fresher Skin Breathable Natural Finish Foundation

When applying this it truly feels so refreshing on your skin. Very light coverage, perfect for a natural look.

  • Rimmel Clear Clarifying Powder

This was a backup, so because of that you all know that I love it! And it was super cheap on feelunique !!

  • Rimmel Fix & Perfect Makeup Primer

I have done a review about this primer on my blog. So if you want to check it out click here.

  • Rimmel Day to Night Mascara

I love the mascara and love the idea of having two wands!!

  • Rimmel Volume Colorist Mascara

Beautiful mascara but sometimes it clumps my lashes together.

  • Rimmel Scandal Eyes Thick & Thin Eye Liner

I don’t quite like this, it is uneven and not a lot of product comes out.

  • theBalm Marylou Manizer Highlight

I saw all the hype on this so of course when I saw it at Superdrug I had to get it! And I love it! I feel that it is not chalky, and gives a lovely highlight. It blends very well too.

  • Mac Lipstick – Lustering

Cute pink shade !!

  • Mac Lipliner – Soar

Love this as a fall shade and love the lip liner formula of Mac. Again if you would like to see swatches please watch my video !!

So that is it!! Hope this wasn’t that long!!

Thank you so much for reading !!

If you would like for me to do more in depth reviews of any of these products, let me know in the comments down below.

Have a lovely day!!

October Lip Monthly Bag

Hi Makeup Lovers,

How are you all doing?

Before I start my blog post about what I received in my October Lip Monthly bag I just would like to update you on the new Lip Monthly as they updated their website and subscription service.

They do not ship to Malta anymore if you were to join them now. At the time being they are only accepting NEW subscribers from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Germany and Spain. You will only receive the bag if you live in other countries if you were previously subscribed with them.

However, now free shipping is not going to be done anymore but you will need to pay a shipping fee. I only know that for England the shipping fee will be $3.99 plus the bag itself which is $12.95 and even for me that is how much I am going to be paying.

Personally I am going to try it out for another month and will decide then if I shall keep the subscription or not. In the bag you only receive 4 items. Three of them will be dedicated to the lips whilst the other will be the bonus item that can either be for your hair, face, hands and anything else.

The October bag came in the cutest of fall-y bags. I actually love the design and the colours.

We got a lip gloss from Cargo Cosmetics in the shade Rio. This is the only product I highly disliked in the bag. Why? Because it is a gloss that does not scream autumn/fall for me. It is a bright orange tanned shade and it is a gloss. I don’t like glosses, but that is just me! This gloss retails for $16.

The next thing we have is a gorgeous smoked orange/brown toned lipstick called Charmed from be a bombshell. Now see this is more my kind of colour during these cold and cosy months. The lipstick formula itself is matte although it does have some shine to it. And it is quite long lasting. There is no scent whatsoever. This retails for $6.

My favourite lip product in this bag had to be the lip liner from Laritzy. The shade (Brick) of it was perfect and it was like a dark red shade. I love the way I lined and filled in my lips. It retails for $18.

Lip Combo

In the video which I will be embedding below you will also see how the lip liner and lipstick also worked so well together and you can create a gorgeous lip shade with them both applied.

The final product was the bonus item which was a baked highlighter in the shade Sunkist. This was from DLS (Dirty Little Secret). It has gold glitter specs to it and I personally feel that I would like it more as an eyeshadow than a highlight. It retails for $14.

Therefore, the retail value of the bag is $54.

Is the bag worth it?

I guess for the products you get and the price you pay it is worth it. But I would have to choose the Sweet Sparkle box over the Lip Monthly bag. As in Sweet Sparkle you get more product for the price you pay.

Here is a video I made showing how the products tested out.

Have you ever tried out the Lip Monthly bag? Do you want to try it out?

Thank you so much for reading. Hope you have a lovely week!
