I love applying a face mask once a week and relaxing a little. I think we all need it on our skincare routine!

I never had tried these face masks by 7th Heaven before so I was really excited to try out the first one. I chose the Manuka Honey Peel Off face mask.

A peel off mask is not messy, gentler on the skin and you can relax while it soothes into your skin.

Here I am having just applied the mask

I left the mask on for 30 minutes, I then gently pulled it off and rinsed my face. My skin looked so refreshed.

Here I am with the mask after having it on for around 15 minutes

After having peeled off the mask I noticed that my skin looked smoother and fresher. It also peeled off some of my whiteheads – therefore this mask really does thoroughly cleanse my skin.

Here I am after having rinsed off the mask

The main ingredients for this mask were – Aloe Vera, Manuka Honey and Jasmine.

Aloe Vera – This helps people who have an oily skin texture as it moisturises the skin without leaving it feeling greasy.

Manuka Honey – This has lots of antioxidants and besides it reducing signs of ageing it also helps moisturises and soothes the skin. Honey also helps open up any pores, and this makes it easier for the skin to get cleansed and for the pores to become unclogged.

Jasmine – This helps in rejuvenating the skin and it also helps those with dry skin.

I cannot wait to try the other masks!

Arad – Facial Scrub – Review

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all having a lovely Sunday. The weather in Malta looks bliss!!

Today’s blog post is all about another post on an Arad product! As you know if you have been on my blog for quite a while, I have been posting reviews about Arad products!

If you haven’t seen them already be sure to check them out, here are just a few –

IMG_8619

Today is all about this Facial Scrub that I have been trying out for 2-3 months. I do not use it every day but I use it in conjunction with my Vichy Cleanser to regulate my acne prone skin. And since the Vichy Cleanser was recommended by my dermatologist I could not stop using it completely.

So what I have been doing is switching the two everyday and I found that this worked. I guess in the end you just have to simply experiment and see what products work out for you. Therefore, this may have worked out for me but it may not work out for you if you have acne.

So what is this Arad Facial Scrub?

IMG_8620

This scrub is formulated with ‘Dead Sea Mud‘ and ‘Natural scrubbing particles‘ to help with cleanse your skin and pores and help in ‘rejuvenating the look of the skin.’

It contains ‘Bees Wax‘ and ‘plant extracts’ which act as ‘skin conditioners‘ to help ‘sooth and calm the skin.’

How to apply it –

Rinse your face as normal, then with your fingertips apply the scrub in circular motions all over your face and avoiding the eye area; do this for one minute or so. Then gentle rinse off.

You could then apply the Arad Day Moisturiser and the Arad Night Cream after. The moisturiser I use is the Arad Hydro Light Moisturizer for Oily Skin.

My thoughts –

What I like about this scrub is that it isn’t too messy. Even though it has these tiny particles which annoy me, they are easily rinsed off. These particles are the ‘Apricot Seeds‘ which helps in cleansing pores.

Now since I have been using this for a while, I have noticed that my pores are getting slightly smaller. They do not disappear so don’t expect magic. However, they have decreased in size; that makes Kezia very happy!

The scrub makes my skin feel soft and smooth and cleanses my skin thoroughly!

If you are Maltese like me, you can visit Arad Dead Sea Malta’s Facebook Page for more information.

Have you ever tried this product or any other product from Arad? What are your thoughts? If you haven’t, are you intrigued of doing so?

Thank you so much for reading!

Happy Sunday!

Arad Dead Sea – Eye Contour Balm

Hi Everyone,

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend!! I am back with another blog post on a product from the Brand Arad.

If you haven’t seen my previous blog posts about this brand and other products you may do by clicking on one of these links (on the first post there is also a summary of what the brand in general offers!) –

If you are Maltese like me, then you can also go and visit Arad Dead Sea Malta‘s Facebook Page!!

Today I shall be reviewing the Eye Contour Balm from Arad. I find that under my eyes I tend to get dry skin therefore, a little moisture would go a long way!

img_7713

The Eye Contour Balm contains minerals from the Dead Sea and also includes Vitamins and Whey Proteins that help to maintain the below actions and benefits

  • It helps to soften up any fine lines and wrinkles that your skin may have
  • It helps to smoothen and firm the skin around the eye which is very delicate
  • It helps to minimise puffiness
  • It also helps to delay any future signs of ageing

img_7717

How I apply it –

It comes in a white creamy formula and I apply it with my ring finger and gently tap the product under my eyes. I also apply it to the sides of my mouth as I do also tend to have dryness round that area however, not as much as under my eyes.

img_7718

I use this product every morning and evening after I have applied all of my face products therefore, this is the last step to my morning and evening skin care routine!

My thoughts –

This product has helped my under eyes to not be as scary puffy as they would normally be. But I love this product for helping my dryness underneath my eyes decrease. It really did help in smoothing my skin out!

Have you ever tried this product? Have you ever tried any other product from Arad?

Thank you so much for reading! Have a lovely weekend!

Arad – Hydro Light Moisturizer for Oily Skin – Review

Hi everyone,

I am writing another post on a skin care product that I have been trying out from the brand Arad.

For those of you who are Maltese you could check out the Arad Dead Sea Malta Facebook Page.

You could check out my previous 2 blog posts on a summary of the brand Arad and a review of 2 products right here –

Arad Dead Sea Malta – Facial Mud Mask – Review

Arad Dead Sea Malta – The Facial Cleansing Milk Review

Today’s product that I shall be reviewing is a Moisturizer. Specifically it is called the Hydro Light Moisturizer for Oily Skin.

Now I have combination skin however, it is mostly oily. I do get a little dry around my nose – that is mostly it. I also have acne prone skin.

The moisturiser is an extra light textured cream and is specially formulated to regulate the moisture of oily and problematic skin.

Arad’s Dead Sea Minerals in this product enhanced with other natural ingredients and calming extracts should help to reduce irritation and keeps the correct moisture level.

My thoughts –

images-13

I use this product daily in the morning. I cleanse my face as I do every day and night however, in the morning I would apply this right after. I apply the cream – as it is formulated like a cream – all over my face and neck.

It feels soft and gentle on my skin and as with all products that I have tried so far from Arad, it refreshes my skin.

There is one thing I do not like about this product and that is the smell. It has a weird scent that is not quite my favourite.

I do like the feel of my soft skin right after I apply this.

Even though this is for oily skin, where my skin usually gets dry i.e. my nose – it really hasn’t gotten dry, but still feels moisturised.

Therefore, I like the overall formula of this moisturiser apart from the weird scent.

Have you ever tried out this product? Did you ever try out a product from Arad?

Thank you so much for reading !!
