Blogmas Day 2 – Cranberries & Chocolate Palette – Review

Hi everyone,

How are you all doing? Are you excited to see more of Blogmas? I thank everyone who has checked out Blogmas Day 1 already, and for those of you who are just joining me on Day 2 … WELCOME!!

Today’s blogmas is all about an eyeshadow palette I recently received in the I Heart Chocolate Vault from Makeup Revolution. I had done a video on this box, you can check it out RIGHT HERE. And basically, in this box you will find this palette. However, I now know that you can buy this palette separately too!

I have done a video showing you exactly how the palette tested out and what not, but since I am doing a blog post a day, I will include the videos I upload on my Youtube Channel as part and parcel of my Blogmas … you know what I am saying?

Also, my first XMAS giveaway went up on my fb page, you can check it out right here – https://www.facebook.com/KezziesCorner/posts/1136505859850828

My thoughts on the Cranberries and Chocolate Palette –

I love the packaging of the Chocolate palettes, and I love the shade this one comes in! I think it’s a very christmas-sy colour, so this palette is perfect for a blog post, don’t you agree? I also like how the shadows come with names and you get a great sized mirror!

The palette has a mixture of shimmers and mattes. It also has this gorgeous black shade called Rich which is perfect for that smokey eye. It also has this beautiful dark pink/berry shade called Wine which is a great shade for the crease and a berry look! Which is like the look I did in my video!

The matte shadows worked out well and are so pigmented and blend nicely even with each other. Yet the shimmer shades I had to work with them more. Number one I cannot use them without wetting my brush. Example Tasteful worked well all over the lid applying it with a flat brush which was wet. Yet gratification which is the white shimmer shade didn’t go on as pigmented as i would have hoped in my inner corner even though my brush was wet.

So I wish the shimmer shades worked out better but apart from that, I love this palette. It’s a perfect autumn/winter palette with a variety of brown, pink, shimmer shades and even a dark brown and black! And if you’re looking for an inexpensive palette to create a berry toned look or a brown toned too you can use this for those looks!!

The makeup look I created using this palette!

Here is my video if you would like to see how it tested out –

Thank you so much for reading!! Have you tried this palette out or are you interested in doing so? Let me know in the comments down below!!

Happy Blogmas Day 2!

Back to School Makeup Look – *DRUGSTORE ONLY products!*

Hi everyone,

It’s the 21st of September, which means it’s Autumn Time!! I am so excited for the leaves to change colour … oh wait we barely see that in Malta … never mind!! But apart from that I am excited to light candles in my room and for the evenings to get cooler again and watch movies inside with a hot chocolate on my right and Nemo to my left, all snuggled up nicely!!

Anyways, with autumn beginning, it also means that the scholastic year is starting again. I know that in the UK and in the US the scholastic year already has begun. But in Malta it’s about to start next week and for uni students, it will start in the beginning of October! I would love to wish everyone who’s returning back to school this year a BIG GOOD LUCK! Everyone starting uni I wish you a good luck and to enjoy it!! Yes it may be tough and it may be challenging, but trust me, the years will FLY by!!

So because it’s back to school season in Malta, I decided to dedicate this blog post to a quick and easy back to school makeup look using only drugstore products!

You can watch my tutorial right here on my YOUTUBE CHANNEL

The products I used for this tutorial were –

IMG_5572

Nyx angel veil skin perfecting primer

I always start any makeup look with primer, and I love using this one from NYX. It is a cream like formula which provides for a smooth base for your foundation!

Sleek Vitality foundation

I love this foundation for an everyday makeup look! It’s very lightweight and leaves your skin show its natural beauty! Cos yes guys we all have beauty in us!

Catrice Comouflage concealer

I love this concealer, it just provides for amazing coverage. If you have an annoying spot just apply this and blend it! And it will cover up that annoying blemish!! I love using this concealer under my eyes which makes me look more awake than I am!

Rimmel Stay matte powder

I love this powder, it’s a holy grail of mine!! Love how it leaves my skin and love how it sets any foundation in place!!

Essence make me brow duo eyebrow powder

This is a great brow product from Essence. It comes in a light shade which I first use to fill in my brows then a darker shade which I use at the end of my brows!

Max Factor Natural Brow Gel

I always mention this brow gel, I love it! It’s from Max Factor and it sets my brows into place perfectly!!

L’Oreal Paris Miss baby Roll Mega Volume mascara

I love this mascara, as you can see from the video it really volumises and lengthens my lashes! It isn’t clumpy and separates the lashes so well!

Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer

I love this bronzer!! I was so sad when it broke when I took it abroad but I managed to salvage a little bit of it!! It gives out the most lovely looking natural bronzer! And smells so good!

3INA the blush shade 103

Love this pink shade, it looks so natural and blends in so nicely on my skin!

Essence matt matt matt longlasting lipgloss – in the shade beauty-approved

I love this formula and this shade! So pigmented and not patchy!!

Rimmel #InkMe Stamp & Sticker Tattoo & Eylure Spring/Summer 2018 Collection – Review

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all having a lovely Sunday! Today’s blog post is all about some new products from Rimmel London and Eylure that I recently received! They are also products which are perfect for creating festival makeup looks!!

IMG_5025.jpg

Rimmel London have released Ink Me Stamp Tattoos in the shape of a heart and a star. In just seconds you can use these to create a cute design on your skin. They work so easily and create a patch free heart or star! I love them!

IMG_5023

I also got to try out the Rimmel Ink Me Sticker Tattoos. They remind me of those stick on tattoos you used to find in bubble gums back in the day. I used to be told off by my dad for putting them on. Oh the memories!

IMG_5021

These are so easy to use, you get two sheets in a pack full of different shapes and designs. Perfect for festival makeup looks or a fun and creative one. They can be applied in a matter of seconds. What I did was I cut around the shape I wanted then I took off the transparent sheet and placed the shape on where I wanted it to go on my skin and with a damp cloth I rubbed it on the sheet and I gently peeled it off and voila the shape was right where I wanted it! Was so happy with how easy it was to do!

IMG_5018

Another two products I received were from Eylure. I love the brand for their false lashes, they have so many styles and I actually manage to apply their lashes! I received the set called Enchanted Roses and Thorns & Enchanted Heartbreaker. The first one is more natural whilst the second is more out there. I loved the Roses and Thorns, they applied so nicely with the glue found in the packet!

IMG_4940

IMG_4963

IMG_4962 2

I recommend these products if you are looking for makeup products for festival makeup looks. Eylure Lashes are also perfect for any night out or even for wedding makeup looks especially the Roses & Thorns set!

I also uploaded a video using these products whilst creating my very own Festival Makeup Look! Check it out right here –

Have you guys tried out any of these products? Let me know in the comment down below!

I would like to thank Rimmel Malta and Eylure Lashes Malta for the products!

Thank you for reading!

This liquid lip product adds an amazing 3D glimmer! You could use it on its own or you could use it on top of a lip colour for a gorgeous instant glow boost!! It is infused with nourishing rose hip and marula oil!!

I love using it on top of another lipstick, it just sits so well! I love the scent of it it’s amazing!!

In the video I used the shades Potato and Beautis in the crease. I then used Bomb in my outer corner and blended everything together! I finally used Itty Bitty as my inner corner highlight and brow bone highlight. The Itty Bitty shade is a gorgeous colour, I love it and it gives the most radiant glow!

Pixi + Weylie Black Liner Duo – Felt Tip Liner + Kohl Liner

IMG_4819

This 2 in 1 Black Kohl pencil and liquid eyeliner duo is the perfect liner to add to your everyday eye makeup essentials!

IMG_4820
Kohl Liner and Liquid Liner Swatches

I love the liquid liner, it is so pigmented and creates the most deep black winged eye lined look! But I also loved the kohl liner and love using it on my waterline!

Pixi + Dulce – Cafe con Dulce – Sweet Glow –

IMG_4805

This is just a beautiful palette with glowing shades which can be used as blushes, cheek highlights or lid hues to enhance and add luminosity!

IMG_4807
Cafe Con Dulce swatches

The colours in this palette are just so beautiful, so shimmery and just super pigmented! I love it! In the video I used Bon Bon as my eyeshadow base shade and then I used Brillante as my cheek bone highlight! I loved this as my cheek highlight, I love the natural glow it gives! Simply beautiful!

Pixi + Dulce Cande – Dulce’s Lip Candy – Sugar & Spice Palette

IMG_4811
Dulce’s Lip Candy Swatches

Again, this palette has some stunning shades chosen by Dulce! They are a velvety rich colour to both your lips and cheeks as a blush! The multi-use formula has antioxidants and minerals to help keep the skin soft and hydrated! That sounds amazing, doesn’t it?

The shades apply easily and smoothly! I love the shades, they are so beautiful! The shade I used in the video was Enamorada! It is such a cute pink shade!

Here is the finished look I created using all these products –

3INA – Just for Fun Collection – Review

Hi Lovelies,

How are you all doing today? Hope you are all having an amazing week!

IMG_4581

Today’s blog post is all about a new COLLECTION from 3INA. I have done several videos and blog posts about previous collections from 3INA! I love the creativity in which the products from 3INA help me explore. I love creating new looks with their fun collections and ironically the name of the collection I will be reviewing today is called Just For Fun!

I would like to thank 3INA Malta and Hudson Group Malta for these products that I will be reviewing today.

IMG_4584

You can visit 3INA right here – https://mt.3ina.com/mt and follow their social media to stay up to date with the brand.

3INA is an animal cruelty free brand and is based in a number of different countries! In Malta you can find 3INA at – The Point in Sliema, Valletta, Pama Shopping Village in Mosta and Qormi (next to Kiabi).

Here is the video I did showing you the products being applied –

The Just For Fun Collection consists of –

The Eyeshadow Palette – 105 – €14.95

IMG_4588

This palette comes with six cute shades, perfect for Spring! I love the pastel shimmery shades! It is a hyper-pigmented palette and comes with shadows that are easy to blend! Perfect for Festival Makeup Looks!

IMG_4589

I love the look I created in from my video! I mixed 5 out of the 6 shades to come out with a lovely, spring worthy look!

The 2 in 1 eyeliner pen – €8.95

IMG_4590

I love this eyeliner and it has become on my favourite eyeliner pens! It has a dual-width paddle applicator that helps with adjusting to different widths, allowing you to draw graphic shapes and bold designs.

Now I did not experiment with it like that , but I will try again soon! But I loved using it to create a simple winged eyeliner! I found that it made applying eyeliner even simpler!

Just for Fun Highlighter – €12.95

IMG_4594

This is a liquid highlighter with a pearly and luminescent finish. It gives out the cutest baby pink highlight shade ever! It blends nicely and gives out a dewy, ethereal glow that can easily be blended with foundation for an all-over shimmer.

IMG_4595

I loved using it as my cheekbone highlight but will definitely be using it on my collar bone in summer for that nice looking healthy glow!

The Longwear Lipstick – Shade 521 – €7.95

IMG_4599

I love the formula of these lipsticks, I have tried them out before. With some shades you have to be slightly patient to get that lovely deep colour without any patches.

IMG_4600

IMG_4514

Once it dries I promise it will give you the most pigmented lip colour! This shade is a cute hot pink perfect for the summer! I absolutely loved it!

The Longwear Lipstick – 522 – €7.95

IMG_4596

This is a gorgeous purple metallic shade. However, it was slightly more difficult to apply than the pink but the end result was a nice metallic lip colour!

IMG_4598

IMG_4536

I loved it with this look. The formula of these lipsticks is soft and creamy and they come in the most lovely scents!

What do you think of the finished look?

IMG_4561

Thank you so much for reading! Do you love 3INA and their fun products? Comment down below, would love to know your thoughts!

Thank you once again to 3INA Malta and Hudson Group Malta for the products – I truly appreciate them and am so grateful!

Testing out Profusion Cosmetics – Review

Hi lovelies,

How are we all doing? I am coming back with another blog post! I hope you enjoy it!!

This time it’s all about a fairly new UK brand called Profusion Cosmetics. However, this brand has been in the US for quite a while so it is now branching into Europe!

To all my Maltese followers, at the time being the website doesn’t ship to Malta however, it will in the future. There are ways you can still order from their website like using Maltapost Send On instead.

Their website can be found right here – https://profusioncosmetics.co.uk/

They have a variety of products and lots of them come in box sets! The prices of these products are amazing!

IMG_4425

So I would like to thank Profusion Cosmetics for these products!! I did a video reviewing an eyebrow palette and 2 eyeshadow palettes! You could see my first impressions and first reactions to how the products tested out right here –

And now I will give a review as I have been using them for the past week!

#1 Brows Pro Makeup Case – £7.95

IMG_4429

I love this Brow palette. First off let’s talk about the packaging. Both products that I will be talking about today come in this tin packaging which reminds me of the Naked 2 Palette from Urban Decay. I kind of like it and not like it because yes it has lots of different products but it can seem bulky and not that travel friendly.

But this Brows Case has everything you need to create those perfect brows that you desire. It has a double ended brush with the brush to apply the eyebrow powders with (which is amazing) together with a spoolie on the other side.  It includes a wax that helps you sit your brows in place. Then it includes 4 different brow powder shades which is amazing !! And finally it also includes a highlighter you can apply on your brow bone and an eyebrow pencil to end the brow look!

IMG_4374
Brow Case applied !!

I love this palette and doing my brows with all these products really helped with a quick and easy application! The powders work really well and I love the brush! This palette is perfect for beginners!!

#2 Eyes Pro Makeup Case – Nude Palette – £7.95

IMG_4436

I love this eyeshadow palette, it comes with both everyday shadow shades but then in the end it has darker shades which you could use for smokey eye looks! I loved these shadows, they blended nicely, they are so pigmented and they are not too powdery, there barely was any fallout from them being applied! The palette includes both shimmer and matte shades.

I simply love the finished look I created in the video and I also tried the palette off camera for everyday natural makeup looks where I mixed some of the lighter shades! But yeah it is a great palette and for only £7.95 you cannot go wrong!! You get so much shadow shades!!

#3 Eyes Pro Makeup Case – Amber Palette – £7.95

IMG_4438

This palette is similar to the one above meaning the shadows perform the same. However, I LOVE the shades of this palette. They remind me of Modern Renaissance shades from Anastasia Beverly Hills! And this palette is so much cheaper and still performs well!! I love this and I loved mixing some of these shades with the Nudes Palette to create the look I created in the video. However, I have also used it on its own off camera and loved it nonetheless.

IMG_4402
The finished look created in the video!

Similar to the previous palette, the shadows blended well, they were not powdery and they are so pigmented. The palette again includes both shimmer and matte shades and I love making my brush a little bit damp before applying the shimmer shades so to pop the colour up more of those shades! Love it!!

And basically that’s it. Overall I was impressed by these products and look forward to trying out more from Profusion Cosmetics!! Thank you once again to Profusion Cosmetics for these products!!

Have you ever tried Profusion Cosmetics or intend to? Let me know in the comments down below!!

Testing out some new products! Are they worth the hype? ft. Anastasia Beverly Hills, Makeup Revolution, Mario Badescu

Hi everyone,

How are you all doing? It’s Friday which means a new Blog post must be uploaded! And I truly love writing blog posts as much as I love creating videos! When writing up blog posts my room’s atmosphere is different, with my fairy lights on and music playing!

Anyways, moving on! This week I only managed to write up one blog post, but if you wish to see more than one blog post per week, do let me know in the comments down below!

Before I start I would like to say THANK YOU to everyone who has subscribed to my channel! I reached 3k subscribers!! I am simply still over whelmed and so happy !! Thank you for joining my little corner! There’s 3000 of us! And a bit more now too!

Today’s post is all about a Makeup Tutorial that featured lots of new products that I never tried out before! Be sure to be subscribed to my Youtube Channel!!

So in the video I did not really review the products, I simply just said how I used them. But I wanted to come here and talk about some NEW products that I tried out whilst filming this makeup tutorial!

29134732_10214030374846080_1913256570_n
The finished makeup look

The Products I used in this makeup tutorial were –

(The ones in Bold are the ones that I will be talking about in this blog post, as they are the new products that I had never tried out before filming this video!)

  • Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe Herbs and Rosewater
  • Makeup Revolution Foundation Stick in F4
  • Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define Full Coverage Conceal and Contour Concealer
  • Primark Beauty PS … Insta Girl Rice Powder
  • Catrice Brow Palette – Matt & Glow – First I applied the wax and then the powder shade
  • Max Factor Brow Gel
  • Maybelline Fit me Matte and Poreless Pressed Powder shade 120 Classic Ivory
  • Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Palette
    • Shades used: Orange Soda, Burnt Orange, Mulberry, Fairy, Rose Pink, Tempera for the inner corner and brow bone highlight
  • Essence Super Precise Eyeliner
  • Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara
  • GWA Fantasy lashes – I bought these from Primark!!
  • DUO Lash Glue
  • Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer
  • Technic Colour Fix Blush Palette
  • Makeup Revolution Liquid Highlighter – Liquid Starlight
  • Golden Rose Longstay Liquid Matte Lipstick – Shade 20
  • Colourpop – Ultra Glossy Lip in Moon Child – Collab with Kathleen Lights

Now here are the new products I tried out and a mini review (plus there’s a link to where you can get the items if you click their titles!)

#1 Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe Herbs and Rosewater

IMG_4242

This facial spray has become a staple in my everyday makeup routine. I love the smell of it and I love how it sprays. Although, to be honest the first time I sprayed it I was not impressed as not much product was coming out. But then I don’t know how the pump readjusted itself or something because more products sprayed out and I just love how it makes my skin feel.

I love applying it before and after applying makeup. I find that it helps my makeup last longer. But in this makeup tutorial that I filmed I wished I had applied a primer that helps in reducing pores as I only sprayed this as my ‘primer’ and it kind of did nothing to my pores which is obvious because it does not state that it should. So yes, a gentle reminder to apply a primer nonetheless after spraying this all over your face before applying makeup!

#2 Makeup Revolution Foundation Stick

IMG_4216

So yes Makeup Revolution have released their foundation sticks and they are only £5 each!! I mean you do not get much product but honestly, it is so worth it! It conceals so much, like all my redness was gone and spots were hidden without the need to apply concealer!!

But it really increases the appearance of my pores, so it is very important to apply a pore minimizing primer when using this foundation! Also, this foundation stick comes in 18 different shades! That’s just amazing!!

#3 Makeup Revolution Conceal and Define Full Coverage Conceal and Contour Concealer

IMG_4218

Makeup Revolution also released their amazing, jaw dropping concealers before the foundation sticks! In the makeup tutorial I used C4 but now I also bought the C2 because I wanted it a bit lighter for my under eye concealer.

Again, the concealer comes in 18 different shades and it’s just £4! I mean you can’t go wrong! I love the applicator of this concealer, it’s similar to the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer but the Makeup Revolution one I would say creases more.

#4 Maybelline Fit me Matte and Poreless Pressed Powder

IMG_4239

I got mine in the shade 120 Classic Ivory and to be honest I thought I would be more impressed. I love the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder, I have been using that to set my face for so long now and I wanted a change! But I thought this powder from Maybelline would decrease my pores a little more than it does! After filming this makeup tutorial, I did use it again and again this powder and yes having a pore minimizing primer helped, but I just thought that this powder would have a stronger effect than it actually gives out.

I guess I had high hopes for it but alas. I still love the product and have been using it on my everyday makeup looks. If you follow me on Instagram I post daily on my Insta Stories showing you guys what products I use for my everyday makeup looks! And I have been featuring this powder in my insta stories …. I just hoped it performed better!

#5 Anastasia Beverly Hills Soft Glam Palette

IMG_4191

This palette is just …. one word …. STUNNING. Ok two words – GORGEOUS. The colour scheme is great because you have everyday wearable shades but you also have a dark red and black for smokey eyes! I just love this palette and compared to Subculture and Prism, this one is way better and right down my alley!

IMG_4196

IMG_4202

The powders aren’t that powdery although I recommend you do your eye makeup first if you want to avoid fall out! But they blend really well, the shimmer shades also apply nicely. I applied Fairy and Rose Pink with a damp brush, sprayed with the Mario Badescu setting spray to intensify their look and I think it worked out great! They lasted all day and I just love how the look turned out! Definitely will be reaching for this palette while I am here in Scotland!

#6 GWA Fantasy lashes + DUO Lash Glue (I bought mine from Primark)

IMG_4236

OH MY GOODNESS! I swear I was so shocked! Shocked! These applied just PERFECTLY, EFFORTLESSLY!!! Like OMG! And the glue must have been good too! I bought both these products from Primark and am in love!!! BUT I cannot find Fantasy lashes from Primark!! I only find the Glamour and Natural ones but not the Fantasy ones!! Must find them because they are worth the £3!

I love the look the lashes gave! Imogen recommended these lashes over on youtube. I have been following her youtube channel since she first started her channel over a year ago and she has come a long way! In fact, she is sort of my inspiration! I love the way she creates content, and even though she is becoming big on Youtube she still takes the time to reply to her followers and she is just a nice person over all! If you didn’t know about Imogen also known as Imogenation over at youtube, then get to know!!

And that’s the end of this blog post! Do you use any of the products I mentioned? Is one or more your favourite products to use? Let me know in the comments down below! I also hope you liked the makeup look I created !! Let me know in the comments down below too!

See you all next week! And thank you so much for reading!

Love Kezia

Testing out some Sleek Makeup!!

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all having a great start to the week! Here I am with another blog post and so excited to share this with you all!

IMG_4072

Last week, I was kindly sent over some Sleek Products to test out from Brandnation. I was so overwhelmed when I received such a package!

Don’t forget to follow me on Instagram where I unbox packages and share them on my insta day!!

Anyways, so I wanted to come on my blog and create a post where I share with all, you my thoughts on Sleek products which are all cruelty-free. I have been using them for the past week since I received them! Before we start, a reminder that you can buy Sleek products either from Boots or Sleek’s website.

#1 Foundation –

IMG_4017.jpg

IMG_4028

This foundation comes in several shades and the shade that matched my skin the most was LP02 which is a fair shade with cool pink undertones. You can find your shade of sleek foundations right here. This foundation stated that it was sweat-proof, oil-free and has a medium to full buildable coverage intensity.

My thoughts …

I personally loved this foundation as it gave me great coverage. I did have to use concealer for underneath my eyes and my imperfections but apart from that, it really set a nice makeup base to my look.

It has soft-focus powders which create a blurring effect and helps in reducing the appearance of fine lines.  From applying this foundation, I immediately saw my pores decrease in appearance … so that’s a major plus for me! Also, because it is oil-free, it helped my skin remain shine-free. I also noticed that it lasted all day.

IMG_4043
After applying Life Proof Foundation

IMG_4029

This foundation again comes in different shades and my shade was VF02 which is a fair shade with neutral undertones. This is a lightweight foundation with a semi-matte finish. It has hydrating ingredients including lotus flower, bamboo and water lily extracts that help in leaving your skin flawless. Like the other foundation it has soft-focus powders that help in smoothing your skin.

My thoughts …

The Life Proof foundation I felt that you would use it on a night out but the Vitality Fresh foundation could be your everyday foundation. It is very lightweight and has quite light coverage but it is buildable. It is oil-free which I love as my skin requires oil-free foundations.

What I loved the most is that even after a whole day of errands my skin still looked the same from the morning, the foundation didn’t move around or get patchy, so it is very long lasting! I love this foundation too but for more natural makeup days.

Vitality Fresh Foundation applied.

#2 Blush –

IMG_4025

Sleek has 10 different shades of blush in this formula, they are all highly pigmented, long lasting and give a dewy radiant glow. The shade I received is Rose Gold and OMG the pigmentation of it is UNREAL!

IMG_4084

My thoughts …

When applied, it blended so nicely on my skin and gave me a gorgeous pink natural blushed look. I love the shade, it’s such a gorgeous rosy pink with gold shimmers! It’s ideal for all skin tones and also can be used as a golden pink highlight. Oh, and I love the packaging of this cute blush, as it also comes with a mirror!

IMG_4048.jpg

#3 Contour –

IMG_4027

Sleek has 3 different shades of this contour kit and mine came in the Light one. You get a contour and highlight shade in this one palette. I love Sleek’s packaging and love how they put mirrors in these palettes.

IMG_4079

My thoughts …

I love both the contour and the highlight. I first applied the contour shade to the hollows of my cheeks and the powder blended in nicely giving me a natural contoured look. However, I love the highlight shade that comes in this palette, it gives my cheek bones such a lovely glow!

#4 Highlight –

IMG_4024

I already have this palette in my collection and I think it was one of the first ever highlighting palettes I bought! I simply love it, this is what made me get into highlight! It helps enhance your complexion and helps add a radiant skin glow!

IMG_4082

My thoughts …

The packaging of this palette, I mean yes it gets filled with my fingerprints but I simply love it! It is just so sleek! Even though it comes with a brush I don’t like using that one but I love using a simple fan brush. But, if you want the shades to be more intense I noticed that using the Real Techniques Setting Brush gives the shades more intensity!

My favourite shades are the golden yellow one and the one next to it which is sort of gold/peach-ish. I wish this palette came with names for the shades, because they deserve names as they are so amazing! You can also use them as shimmers on your body … perfect for the Summer months!

#5 Lipsticks –

IMG_4030

I have tried this formula of lipsticks before but never these shades. I love this shade and I prefer the lighter shades from this formula. Matte me lipsticks are long lasting and are not drying.

IMG_4086

My thoughts …

Again, I love this shade – a lovely coral pink! It felt so lightweight on my lips and lasted all day. It applied easily with one coat!

This is an ‘oxblood red’ or a vampy red that is perfect for the winter months.

My thoughts …

IMG_4088

This shade required two coats and not one to get the intensity of the colour right. That is why I prefer the lighter shades from this formula. But it is a stunning vampy red that is perfect with a simple winged liner makeup look, such as the one I created, attached in these photos! You just have to be a little patient with this shade!

Again, I would like to thank Sleek Makeup and Brandnation for the products. Don’t forget that you can buy these products from Sleek’s website or Boots

Valentine’s Day 2018 Makeup Tutorial

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all having a great day! I wanted to come along here on my blog and write up a quick blog post.

Yesterday, I uploaded a video showing everyone a Valentine’s Day Makeup Tutorial. And like I do every week I share the videos I upload on my Youtube Channel and also write a blog post about the products I used or mentioned in the video. And its no different today!

Before sharing the video I would like to note that yes this is a Valentine’s Day Makeup Tutorial but it isn’t for those people who are in a relationship or have a date! It is for everyone and everybody!

Valentine’s is just another day however, we could show more love to somebody we care about, more on this day than any other. You could think about the past year and just feel so thankful and grateful to this/those person/s who has/have only shown you love and happiness and helped you with any difficulties that you faced throughout the year. Anyways that’s what I do, either way I hope you all have a lovely Valentine’s Day and be sure to spend it around people who love you and care about you!

The products I used in this tutorial were –

  • The Body Shop – All in one 5 Action Perfector Insta Blur Primer
  • Urban Decay All Nighter Foundation Shade 2.0
  • Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer Shade Light Warm

Hi everyone,

Today’s blog post is all about some NEW products from Rimmel London. I would like to thank Rimmel London Malta and Vivian Corporation for the products and the cute little makeup bag!

I tested them out whilst creating a NYE makeup look. You could watch the tutorial (which includes only RIMMEL products) right here –

The products that I tested out where the following –

Rimmel Magnif’eyes Smoke Edition Palette

IMG_3106

This eyeshadow palette comes with 12 different shades. It’s a palette for those of you who are wanting a smokey shadowed look. I love how the palette includes lots of shimmer shades. The palette also comes with a double-ended applicator. I loved using the brush for my inner corner highlight.

IMG_3105

I found the shades to be very pigmented, very smooth and quite blendable together. The colours are intense and the shades are crease proof and smear proof. The shadows lasted all day and I wet the shimmer shadows to intensify their effect and they worked out perfectly!

The look I created using this palette

All in all it’s a cute little palette to have in your collection, perfect for a beginner starting in makeup and wants to enhance their smokey shadow looks.

Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Lip Colour in Firestarter

IMG_3107

I have tried these lipsticks before and also wrote a little review on them which you can read here

However, I can add that I LOVE this shade, it’s a perfect red in the perfect formula. It lasts all day and doesn’t transfer onto your chin whilst eating as it dries down completely matte.

IMG_3108

It is also not a drying formula at all and it is very creamy! There are other different shades from this liquid lipstick line like nudes, pinks and a plum shade too! I really recommend these liquid lipsticks as I think they are one of the best ones found at the drugstore.

Rimmel Lip Art Lip Top Coat in Blush Gold

IMG_3109

I love the concept of this lip topper. I applied this shade – Blush Gold – after Firestarter dried down. I applied it to the centre of my lips and then blended it out using my fingertips. I love the effect it gave and it is a perfect lip topper for the holidays!!

IMG_3110

It isn’t sticky at all and it feels so lightweight! Love the effect it gave and it also made my lips look more plump!

And those were the NEW products I tried out thanks to Rimmel London Malta and Vivian Corporation.

I really liked the two lip products and using them with the Smoke Edition Palette helped me create a NYE makeup look perfect for this evening. What do you guys think? Comment down below and also tell me what you will be doing on New Year’s Eve!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Thank you so much for reading!!
