How are you all doing? Are you excited to see more of Blogmas? I thank everyone who has checked out Blogmas Day 1 already, and for those of you who are just joining me on Day 2 … WELCOME!!
Today’s blogmas is all about an eyeshadow palette I recently received in the I Heart Chocolate Vault from Makeup Revolution. I had done a video on this box, you can check it out RIGHT HERE. And basically, in this box you will find this palette. However, I now know that you can buy this palette separately too!
I have done a video showing you exactly how the palette tested out and what not, but since I am doing a blog post a day, I will include the videos I upload on my Youtube Channel as part and parcel of my Blogmas … you know what I am saying?
Also, my first XMAS giveaway went up on my fb page, you can check it out right here – https://www.facebook.com/KezziesCorner/posts/1136505859850828
My thoughts on the Cranberries and Chocolate Palette –
I love the packaging of the Chocolate palettes, and I love the shade this one comes in! I think it’s a very christmas-sy colour, so this palette is perfect for a blog post, don’t you agree? I also like how the shadows come with names and you get a great sized mirror!
The palette has a mixture of shimmers and mattes. It also has this gorgeous black shade called Rich which is perfect for that smokey eye. It also has this beautiful dark pink/berry shade called Wine which is a great shade for the crease and a berry look! Which is like the look I did in my video!
The matte shadows worked out well and are so pigmented and blend nicely even with each other. Yet the shimmer shades I had to work with them more. Number one I cannot use them without wetting my brush. Example Tasteful worked well all over the lid applying it with a flat brush which was wet. Yet gratification which is the white shimmer shade didn’t go on as pigmented as i would have hoped in my inner corner even though my brush was wet.
So I wish the shimmer shades worked out better but apart from that, I love this palette. It’s a perfect autumn/winter palette with a variety of brown, pink, shimmer shades and even a dark brown and black! And if you’re looking for an inexpensive palette to create a berry toned look or a brown toned too you can use this for those looks!!
Here is my video if you would like to see how it tested out –
Thank you so much for reading!! Have you tried this palette out or are you interested in doing so? Let me know in the comments down below!!
