Today’s post is all about a Makeup Tutorial that featured lots of new products that I never tried out before! Be sure to be subscribed to my Youtube Channel!!
So in the video I did not really review the products, I simply just said how I used them. But I wanted to come here and talk about some NEW products that I tried out whilst filming this makeup tutorial!
The Products I used in this makeup tutorial were –
(The ones in Bold are the ones that I will be talking about in this blog post, as they are the new products that I had never tried out before filming this video!)

Now here are the new products I tried out and a mini review (plus there’s a link to where you can get the items if you click their titles!)
This facial spray has become a staple in my everyday makeup routine. I love the smell of it and I love how it sprays. Although, to be honest the first time I sprayed it I was not impressed as not much product was coming out. But then I don’t know how the pump readjusted itself or something because more products sprayed out and I just love how it makes my skin feel.
I love applying it before and after applying makeup. I find that it helps my makeup last longer. But in this makeup tutorial that I filmed I wished I had applied a primer that helps in reducing pores as I only sprayed this as my ‘primer’ and it kind of did nothing to my pores which is obvious because it does not state that it should. So yes, a gentle reminder to apply a primer nonetheless after spraying this all over your face before applying makeup!
So yes Makeup Revolution have released their foundation sticks and they are only £5 each!! I mean you do not get much product but honestly, it is so worth it! It conceals so much, like all my redness was gone and spots were hidden without the need to apply concealer!!
But it really increases the appearance of my pores, so it is very important to apply a pore minimizing primer when using this foundation! Also, this foundation stick comes in 18 different shades! That’s just amazing!!
Makeup Revolution also released their amazing, jaw dropping concealers before the foundation sticks! In the makeup tutorial I used C4 but now I also bought the C2 because I wanted it a bit lighter for my under eye concealer.
Again, the concealer comes in 18 different shades and it’s just £4! I mean you can’t go wrong! I love the applicator of this concealer, it’s similar to the Tarte Shape Tape Concealer but the Makeup Revolution one I would say creases more.
I got mine in the shade 120 Classic Ivory and to be honest I thought I would be more impressed. I love the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder, I have been using that to set my face for so long now and I wanted a change! But I thought this powder from Maybelline would decrease my pores a little more than it does! After filming this makeup tutorial, I did use it again and again this powder and yes having a pore minimizing primer helped, but I just thought that this powder would have a stronger effect than it actually gives out.
I guess I had high hopes for it but alas. I still love the product and have been using it on my everyday makeup looks. If you follow me on Instagram I post daily on my Insta Stories showing you guys what products I use for my everyday makeup looks! And I have been featuring this powder in my insta stories …. I just hoped it performed better!
This palette is just …. one word …. STUNNING. Ok two words – GORGEOUS. The colour scheme is great because you have everyday wearable shades but you also have a dark red and black for smokey eyes! I just love this palette and compared to Subculture and Prism, this one is way better and right down my alley!
The powders aren’t that powdery although I recommend you do your eye makeup first if you want to avoid fall out! But they blend really well, the shimmer shades also apply nicely. I applied Fairy and Rose Pink with a damp brush, sprayed with the Mario Badescu setting spray to intensify their look and I think it worked out great! They lasted all day and I just love how the look turned out! Definitely will be reaching for this palette while I am here in Scotland!
#6 GWA Fantasy lashes + DUO Lash Glue (I bought mine from Primark)
OH MY GOODNESS! I swear I was so shocked! Shocked! These applied just PERFECTLY, EFFORTLESSLY!!! Like OMG! And the glue must have been good too! I bought both these products from Primark and am in love!!! BUT I cannot find Fantasy lashes from Primark!! I only find the Glamour and Natural ones but not the Fantasy ones!! Must find them because they are worth the £3!
I love the look the lashes gave! Imogen recommended these lashes over on youtube. I have been following her youtube channel since she first started her channel over a year ago and she has come a long way! In fact, she is sort of my inspiration! I love the way she creates content, and even though she is becoming big on Youtube she still takes the time to reply to her followers and she is just a nice person over all! If you didn’t know about Imogen also known as Imogenation over at youtube, then get to know!!
And that’s the end of this blog post! Do you use any of the products I mentioned? Is one or more your favourite products to use? Let me know in the comments down below! I also hope you liked the makeup look I created !! Let me know in the comments down below too!
See you all next week! And thank you so much for reading!
