Hi everyone,
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas with your family and loved ones!! I wish you all the best and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Hope you are enjoying the final days of 2017!
I wanted to come here and write a blog post about my Christmas Day. This year’s Blogmas did not go as planned. I guess with coming back to Malta I got a little side tracked and I just enjoyed my time with my loved one who I have been missing so much whilst at Stirling.
I just uploaded my final VLOGMAS and wanted to come over here and share it with you guys as well!!
Here I show you what I was up to this week!
Basically Christmas for me and my family is quite low key. We like keeping it simple and celebrating it at home with a delicious home cooked lunch! It’s a yearly tradition!
However, this year my Christmas Eve and Christmas morning was slightly different than previous years. Luke and I went to the Intercontinental Hotel in St.Julians and we spent the night there. I really enjoyed it and I thank Luke so much for coming up with the idea and for taking me there! The room was really cosy and I loved the bathroom! It had everything such as a dental care packet, a shaving kit and even a needle kit was provided by the hotel!
We also ended up getting sushi for the night from Gochi and that was delicious!
And then on Christmas morning we went down for breakfast and we had ourselves a big one! They literally had everything and it just tasted amazing!
This year we also wore matching sweater that I got us from Primark and I kind of want to do that a yearly tradition as well, I think it’s cute. Of course if Luke agrees that is!
We then packed and went home to my Family’s Christmas Lunch! We had a prawn cocktail as a starter and the main dish was chicken, meat, potatoes and veggies. There was also ice cream in the end! We just ended up so full!!
I loved spending Christmas with my loved ones. And I hope you all did too.
I know that the holidays can sometimes be hard for some people especially if we don’t have everyone here to celebrate it with. But I promise that no matter how far away the other person may be or if they are no longer with you, they will always be close to you, close in your heart!
All in all, I just hope you were all safe and felt loved. I wish you all the best for the New Year! And if you’re drinking please don’t forget to be safe !!
