TESTING OUT some NEW Rimmel Products, are they Spring Worthy?

Hi everyone,

Today’s blog post is all about three new Rimmel products that you can purchase and try out. I received these from Rimmel a few days ago and I have tested them out a couple of times and am all set to give my honest opinions on the products.

Rimmel Waterproof Scandaleyes Bold Liquid eyeliner –

Now I am a big fan of their Glam Eyes Liquid Eyeliner! So when I saw that I get to try this out I was excited. However, I was not prepared for the ball tip applicator which is what I found when I opened the product.

I am not used to applying liner with this applicator, so it was a little bit of a challenge. My arm shook a little but I still managed to create an even lined look on my top lash line! It has a lovely glossy black colour going to it and doesn’t transfer on the eyelids; even after having it on for a couple of hours.

I even went to dance with it and it didn’t transfer nor smudge and it is waterproof. It did fade a little but it wasn’t that noticeable. When it came to taking it off, it wasn’t much of a hassle either!

So apart from the ball tip applicator which I still have to get used to, I like the formula of this eyeliner and lasts throughout the day! But, I still think I prefer the Glam Eyes liquid liner over this one only because of the applicator!

Rimmel Oh My Gloss Oil Tint –

I don’t usually like lip glosses nor do I wear them a lot however, I was impressed by this gloss’ formula!

This is unlike any other gloss I have tried out as it has a blend of oils mixed in its formula. It claims to help care and comfort your lips which can sometimes be dry and cracked!

It has a lovely glossy finish and isn’t a sticky formula whereby I would get annoyed with it on my lips. It is a very lightweight formula and isn’t drying whatsoever. The shade that I have is 200 Master Pink and it just reminds me of a baby pink bubble gum! It also smells like one too!

The finished look

Rimmel Rita Ora 60 Seconds Super Shine Nail Polish –

Now I get my nails done so I could not try this on my finger nails. However, that didn’t stop me from not trying it at all. So I got my toe nails prepped (I don’t really like my toes in general, my big toes especially are growing in the wrong direction!).

The shade that this nail polish is in is 812 Pedal to the Metal. Can we just take a moment and focus on the name – love it and it goes perfect with the shade which is a bold and metallic grey. I love the brush of the nail polish as it is quite big and can easily cover all your nail at one coat.

It has a shine finish and with this shade it shows even more, since the shade is metallic! The formula is so quick to dry (goes well with the name i.e. 60 seconds) and it therefore is perfect for those people who are impatient at waiting for their nail polish to dry!!

I really hope you enjoyed reading this blog post of mine. Have you ever tried any of these products? If so, then comment down below. And if you haven’t then tell me, are you intrigued of getting any of these items if not all?

Thank you so much for reading!

Love Kezia

xoxo

  1. Such a thorough walk-through, this makeup looks great and the colours are perfect for your skin tone! I just wish Rimmel didn’t test on animals! Your style is great so I’d love to see an article on cruelty-free products 💚

  2. I have never tried Rimmel before but I have been looking for a good basic black eyeliner and with your review I might just pick this one 🙂
