How are you all doing? I am exhausted with all the walking around that we have been doing in Rome.
We have managed to visit a lot of beautiful places and have taken so many photos that Luke is so tired of taking! I have finally put my selfie stick to good use!
Yesterday we used the Hop on Hop off your buses. We had ten stops and we only stopped at two – the Colosseo and the Fontana di Trevi.
I am so glad we did it though because for the price it was so worth it. It includes a ticket entrance to the Colosseo, The Palatine Hills and the Forum. The ticket in all costed €33!
The weather was amazing! We were very lucky.
We were so tired after that as all we did was walk. (Granted that we had a bus tour ride)
Today we took it a little bit easier. We woke up later and started our way to Piazza di Spagna, the Spanish Steps. Again we had more beautiful weather. There are so many of those people who try and sell you stuff on the spot such as selfie sticks, mobile chargers or flowers. It is a little annoying at times as they can bother you always asking you to buy.
Anyway’s after walking the steps and going to see the cathedral inside we went to the Piazza Del Popolo.
We then did some shopping because there are so many shops! There’s like three sephoras in the same place! We stopped at Shana. They were having a 50% off sale which I wish I knew before as I bought some stuff from H&M. I finally bought one of those stylish hats which I am so excited to wear !!
I also stopped at Oviesse and bought some essence products. I am still looking for a dark denim shirt which I can’t find anywhere. And a maroon beanie!!
We obviously then got really hungry and we ended up going to a restaurant and we found one that had gluten free pasta and pizza. I chose a gluten free pasta dish which had tomatoe sauce and basil. Something so simple yet it tasted delicious!!!
Now tomorrow we shall be going to the Zoo and I am so excited!
I will hopefully blog tomorrow as on Saturday I will be flying back to Malta.
Have you been to these places I mentioned?
Thank you so much for reading! Have a lovely day.
