So a few days ago I posted on MUA releasing new products – one of them being 3 new shades in the Velvet Lip Lacquer line.
You can visit MUA (Makeup Academy) on http://www.muastore.co.uk
(All images are from their website.)
Well, they have been released, along with a few other products.
I of course already made an order – no I did not buy everything but only what I wanted 🙂
So in this blog post I am going to share with you guys all the products that came out plus what I bought. Hopefully this week or next week I receive my order and will be able to try the products out.
I think the products that I was most excited for were the new MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer shades. There are 3 new shades in the collection.
One of them is the base lip coat you can call it. It basically is a pure white colour where you put this first on your lips as the base. Then you should apply the other colour – maybe one of the other two shades – as the next layer.
The white shade will help the other colour become more emphasized on the lip !! As is called a colour enhancer, therefore it should enhance the lip shade that you would put on top of it!
The other two shades are summer shades.
We have one called Sugar Coated and once you see it, it truly reminds me of the colour of candy floss. It looks like a nice frosted pink.
The other shade is quite unique and it is called Iced. This shade is one which you cannot wear on an everyday however I guess if you are brave enough to apply this colour, then go for it! I truly believe that with this shade comes a bold look!
I of course bought all these three shades and cannot wait to try them out. I am also excited to try Iced and Sugar Coated together to see what lip effect I can come up with!
These are £3 each.
Another complete new product is a new range of lip liners. They are called the MUA Luxe Precision Lip Liners. I personally didn’t buy any as I don’t tend to reach for lip liners as much. But I am curious of how the formula is.
These come in 5 shades and they actually go hand in hand with there Vivid Intense Lipsticks because they have the same shades and names.
The packaging of these lip liners is too cute ! These are £3 each.
Burn Baby Burn
MUA also released 2 new eyeshadow palettes. I am always so excited when they release new eyeshadow palettes. I only chose one and will tell which I’ve chosen after I have written about both palettes.
On their website – as I have not tried this out yet – it states that the shades are soft, silk shades which makes them easier to create a well blended look.
The first one is the MUA Luxe Eyeshadow Palette called Enchanted.
Let’s start off with the cute packaging it comes in!! The colours are all blended in so perfectly.
Also the colours in the palette all go so well together!
The second palette is called Enrapture. This includes eyeshadow shades that are more dark whilst the other one has soft and gentle shades.
This is definitely a palette to use for smokey eye looks.
They both retail for £6. And I of course went for the Enchanted palette as I saw myself reaching for that mostly. I am not saying that the Enrapture palette is not nice, I just tend to prefer softer tones!
They also released the MUA Luxe Ombre Shimmer Stick which is perfect to create a summer glowing look. I however, did not see myself needing this so I opted out from adding it to my cart.
But because I am showing you everything that MUA released I will still include a small piece on this. And just by writing it I am thinking to myself – Kezia why did you not buy this product?
So on the MUA website it states that it adds a beautiful shimmer and shine with the 3 shade ombre highlighter. Which from the picture I cannot see how it comes in three shades all in one.
Anyways, these 3 shades are said to compliment one another and have a creamy consistency. They are easy to blend and can be applied to the face and body to add that gleam and highlight that you are wishing upon.
Again I am asking myself – WHY DID I NOT BUY THIS?!?!
This retails for £5. (oh now I remember – I actually purchased a highlighter that I have been looking at for a while – so I guess I still got that highlight in my shopping cart just not the newest one – I will share this product with you when I receive it.)
The last new product I noticed on the website was MUA Profession 8 Wedge Makeup Sponges.
These are said to work well with both liquid and cream formulas. I did not buy these just for now as I do not need them. But they only are £2 and you get 8 of them so I think it is quite a bargain!!
Anyways, that is all from me today!
I would like to tell you that TOMORROW a new video will be released on my channel – http://www.youtube.com/KezziesCorner as this week the schedule is not the same as usual as tomorrow the video is a collab with 2 of my friends 🙂 So stay tuned for that!!!
