Hi everyone, Hope you all are doing great. Today is such a lovely day in Stirling, I couldn’t help but sit down at my desk and write a blog post. I am so excited to… More
Hope you are all doing great!! I cannot believe that KezziesCorner has been going on for 2 years now!! Thank you to everyone who has supported my blog and my Youtube channel. Without you all, KezziesCorner wouldn’t be here today!! So THANK YOU!!
This year is a slight challenge for me, as I am embarking with my studies in a Masters in Health Psychology at the University of Stirling! The challenge is, that I had to move away from home as the psychology system in Malta is not the best and abroad have finer qualifications than in Malta anyways!! So I am excited, scared and anxious haha about the year ahead, but KezziesCorner will still be regular!
Today’s blog post is all about a makeup haul of products from a brand called Flormar.
In Malta, I love how the makeup community is growing!! More brands are coming along and we even have our first BEAUTY BOX COMING SOON thanks to Plait!! So excited!! Yes, even though I am not in Malta, I am still going to keep myself updated with the makeup gossip happening there!!
Anyways here is the Flormar Makeup Haul video –
Anywho’s here were the products I mentioned in the video and what I bought –
With my purchase I also got these free sunglasses that I absolutely loved wearing!!
Flormar Round Cotton Pads €1.95
What can I say, I needed some cotton pads. I found these to be of good quality and were inexpensive.
Flormar Makeup Remover Wipes – €3.95
I found these to be soft and gentle on my skin. They removed my makeup easily and even my eyeliner and mascara were wiped away.
Flormar Tropical Sun Bronzing Powder – Shade – Maldives – €11.95
I love this bronzer, I think it is one of those essential bronzers one should carry for Summer. I found that it blended well on my skin and just created a natural, not so harsh bronzed look.
Flormar CC Cream in CC02 – Neutralises the redness like pimples, rashes, blotches to give a natural look – €11.95
I love this CC cream and it really does conceal the redness that you might be having on your skin. I really recommend this product.
Flormar Dramatic Volume Mascara – €11.95
I got this with me to Scotland and simply love using it. Yes it has a higher price then I usually spend on mascaras but I think that it is worth it! It just separates my lashes nicely and volumises them too!
Flormar New Age Matte Liquid Lipstick – in Carnation Red and Pretty Plum – €3.95
These Matte liquid lipsticks aren’t my favourite formula. From the two shades I love the Carnation Red one I think it just has a lovely gorgeous red shade!
Flormar Silky Matte Liquid Lipstick in Autumn Timber and Claret Red – €6.95
I love the formula of these lipsticks, they aren’t drying and last so long. They come in a variety of shades and Autumn Timber is my all new favourite shade for this season!
Flormar HD Invisible Cover Foundation – in Ivory – €12.95
I love love love this foundation. It isn’t heavy nor caky just sits nicely on the skin. It is a very medium sort of coverage but it is buildable. What’s bad is that it comes in a glass bottle so I wasn’t able to bring it with me to Scotland, I miss it so much!!
Have you ever bought anything from Flormar? Comment down below and tell me what you recently bought or what products you have from Flormar!!
Thank you so much for reading!!

My blog post is all about Essence. I created this look using ONLY ESSENCE products. Ever since I started buying makeup, the first brand I ever bought from was Essence. Yes it was the cheapest and the only brand I could afford back when I was 15 and I started playing around with makeup!!
Here are the products used –
Essence Instant Makeup Foundation
This foundation claims to last for 18 hours, it is said to be super long lasting and contains mineral powder. It is a matt foundation and mine is in the shade 10 matt ivory.
Do I think that it lasts all day? No, but I like the formula of it and I love using it as my foundation for my ‘school makeup looks’.
Essence Colour Correcting Liquid Concealer
I got all three shades and each shade has a different purpose.
Green- neutralises redness
Pink – visibly brightens tired looking skin – gives you a ‘wake up effect’
Yellow – conceals dark circles
For this look I only used the Yellow Shade. As you can see from the photo it did crease a little and make sure to not use a lot of the product.
Essence 2 in 1 Highlighting and Contouring Stick for lighter skin in shade 10 blondie
I am no expert when it comes to contouring, so I have no idea if I did it right. What I can tell you is that it blended nicely into my skin. The highlight shade of it was not visible, but the contour shade I liked.
Essence All about matt! Fixing compact powder
I love this powder and this is one powder I have heard a lot about! I love using it to set my under eye concealer and I only apply a little to set the rest of my face. I like matte finishes although now I am kind of wanting more of that glow-y skin. But my skin has a lot of imperfections and am still working on how I could possibly get the glow-y effect.
Essence Make me Brow Duo Eyebrow Powder
I loved this eye brow powder to fill in my brows. It is so natural and so easy to use. Gently tap an eyebrow brush into the product and fill in your brows. There are two shades and what I do is I apply the lighter shade in the inner part of my brow whilst the outer part I use the darker shade.
Essence make me brow eyebrow gel mascara
I love using this brow gel to set my brows. I don’t have anything else to say about this apart from saying how much I love this product!
Essence The Cushion Eyeliner
This replaced the gel eyeliner I used to use also from Essence. I love using this eyeliner to create a cat eye or a simple lined look as in the case of today’s look. It is just so pigmented, it doesn’t smudge or transfer and is so easy to apply!
Essence Volume Stylist 18 hr Curl and Hold Mascara with Micro Styling Waxes
If you don’t already know, I LOVE Essence mascaras and this has been a new favourite of mine to replace the Lash Princess. And you guys know how much I and everyone else loved that mascara! This one has micro styling waxes which elongate the lashes more, gives them more volume and separates them so well!
Essence Luminous Matt Bronzing Powder for lighter skin in shade 01 Sunshine
This is just a lovely and natural bronzer. I don’t know if it picked up on camera but it just isn’t too heavy and perfect for an everyday makeup look.
Essence Pure Nude Highlighter shade 10 Be my highlight
I love this highlight and I got to know about this from Kathleen Lights. Again it doesn’t pick that much on camera but it is a gorgeous natural looking highlight!
Essence Matt Matt Matt lipstick in shade 06 Kiss me if you can
I love this lipstick brand, I think it is one of the best lipstick ranges that they have out of all the Essence Lipsticks. It lasts all day, it isn’t drying and it is so pigmented! There are so many colours to choose from, so I am sure that you will definitely find a shade for you!
And that was my take on a one brand makeup look. Don’t forget to check out my FACEBOOK PAGE to enter our #endofsummercollab GIVEAWAY!!
I really hope you enjoyed reading this!!
Have you ever tried any of these Essence products? Comment down below if you have!!
Thank you for reading!!
Long time no see! I know I apologise for my lack of posts however, if you saw my latest vlog on my Youtube Channel you would know that I embarked on a new adventure. I will tell you more about it once I feel more settled.
Anyways, today’s blog post is about MAX FACTOR and three of their products!! I would like to thank Max Factor Malta and Vj Salomone Marketing for the products, I truly appreciate this lovely opportunity once again!
I have done a previous blog post, testing out some other new Max Factor products, if you want to have a look at that you can do so by CLICKING HERE.
You can watch me applying the products for the first time right here –
The three products are the following –
Max Factor Eyefinity Smoky Eye Pencil in Persian Blue and Radiant Silver
This Eyefinity pencil is really pigmented! I find that you can easily create a look within five minutes and add a pop of colour to your eyes! I also think that the Persian Blue and Radiant Silver Shade contrast perfectly together!
The eye pencil is very easy to use and it just glides on nicely on the eyes, even on my waterline. It also includes a water resistant formulation and this also helps as it lasts all day!
Max Factor Creme Bronzer in Shade 10 Bronze
I was so excited to try out this product! This just helped in creating a natural and sun-kissed glow to my look. It has a “unique formula” with its baked minerals and is easy to blend into the skin. It just has such a creamy and soft formula.
It also includes Micro-Fine pigments and Multi-Tonal shades which help in adding to that sun-kissed glow!
I do notice however, that when using powder products with hints of glitter in them, they tend to highlight my pores and imperfections on my skin. Therefore, when using this product I go in with a light hand, to make sure that I do not use a large amount of this product. I guess using a little bit of the product will go a long way!
Max Factor Colour Elixir Lacquer Lip Gloss in Indulgent Coral
I love the packaging of this product, I think it is just so cute! It comes in 8 different shades, from your pinks, to your reds and purples! It states that it has 3 Irresistible Lip Benefits, which are:-
- The intense colour of a lipstick
- The shine of a gloss
- The soft feel of a balm
The formula is creamy yet not sticky. The gloss does not have a scent and the applicator provides for an easy application.
The shade I got mine in is Indulgent Coral which is highly pigmented and perfect for a natural makeup look. It adds shine to my lips and it creates a plumper look to my lips. It is smooth as a lip balm and is very moisturising on the lips!
All in all, I loved this product and I don’t normally go for lip glosses, but this one passed the test!
Have you ever tried any of these products? If so, what were your thoughts? And if not, are you intrigued by the products now? Would you like to try any of these? Comment down below!
And there you have it! That was my review on these three Max Factor products! I hope you enjoyed reading this!
Thank you so much for reading!!
How are all of you doing?
So do you ever have those days when you just feel so tired, stressed and just need a break? Well recently, those days were more often than others and I needed something to keep me relaxed for a bit.
A few days ago Avon Malta kindly sent me this new Anew Essential Youth Maximising Sheet Mask and I finally found the time and the moment to try it out. You can order from Avon through their website – www.avon.com.mt or ask for their catalogue which they can send through their local representative. They could also provide a soft copy of the catalogue and they may send it through Facebook or Whatsapp or by email. To order the products simply either get in touch with your Local AVON Representative or go directly to them.
So let’s get into the review!
Here is a photo of how my skin looked before – dull and in need of a good face treatment!
How I applied it –
It came in this cute golden packet which I cut open thanks to the easy instructions. Before applying it, I cleansed my face and prepped my skin for the face mask. I then gently took out the mask and you will notice a tip on the edge of where your forehead is. That marks the spot of the left side of your face. I gently applied it first on my forehead then past my nose, and then I pulled it gently down onto my neck.
My only concern was that when I applied it, it irritated my eyes a little, however this could be because of my poor application skills of sheet masks. But I rinsed my eyes with a little water and all was well.
I then left the mask on for more than 20 minutes even though on the packet it says to leave on for 15 to 20 minutes. But whilst I had the face mask on, it was so relaxing to be laying down on my bed with the mask on, I was feeling as though my skin was being refreshed. It was just a serene and calm moment.
What it entails to do –
This is an anti-ageing mask and it is formulated to help repair cells and firm the look of skin. It should help the skin look more radiant, plump and smooths texture.
It is formulated with phytol to help increase cellular metabolism and renewal, and to help improve skin’s barrier protection. [AVON Malta]
After continuous use it should start to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and makes skin look firmer.
My thoughts –
Here is how my skin looked after
As you can see it just looks more awake, refreshed, it felt so soft and smooth and I liked the natural glow that I was left with. Overall, I loved the end result and I stayed with the refreshed feeling on my skin throughout the day.
It was also a motivational factor to keep me going throughout the day and run the errands that needed to be done.
I recommend this face mask, if you are looking for an easy sheet mask, with refreshing effects!
Have you ever tried this sheet mask? Comment down below!
Thank you once again Avon Malta for giving me this opportunity to test out this product, I enjoyed the experience!
Thank you to everyone who has read this blog post and liked it!
Until next time
Hope you are all doing well!
Today I am coming to you with a REVIEW on some products from two brands – Rimmel and Eylure.
Some products were sent to me and I would like to thank Rimmel Malta and Eylure Malta for sending me these products and giving me the chance to review them for you guys! I really enjoyed trying them out!
So let’s begin!
I created a summer-y eye look thanks to the Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow palette and then tamed my brows thanks to the Rimmel Brow this Way – 3 in 1 Soft Powder in Medium Brown. I ordered this of Feelunique. I had never tried out any powder brow product, but I really loved using this one.
I filled in my brows so fast and the product just went on smoothly. The powder is pigmented so go in with a light hand.
I then tested out on one eye the – Eylure New Patented Effect – Layered Lash – 3 Dimension in number 119 Lashes. [These were sent to me] These lashes are layered and thanks to that they give more length and volume.
The pack also came with a glue and I love the glues that come with these Eylure sets as they stick the lashes on well and they also last long. What I loved about these lashes is that they were easy to apply and they had a natural effect to them.
I had to cut a piece off the fake lash as they were a little too big for my eyes; so make sure to measure them to see if they are a good size fit.
I then tested out the Rimmel Volume Shake Mascara on the other eye. [This product was sent to me] I shook the mascara and when you shake it, this will help it to remain clump free. The mascara lengthened and separated my lashes ever so well.
It didn’t transfer on my eyelid and it volumised my lashes nicely. I love the concept of shaking it in order to remain clump free, do it every so often.
Here is a photo that shows the lashes on one eye and the mascara on the other eye –
I then stuck the Eylure lashes on the other eye and used the Rimmel Volume Shake Mascara to set my lashes together with my real lashes on the right eye – as you can see you will notice immediately the difference between the two eyes.
I then also got to try out the Rimmel Radiance Brick Multi Tonal Shimmer Powder in 001 Light. [This product was sent to me]. The powder contains speckles of glitter, it is a mix of light beige to darker brown tones.
I love how it applied on the skin, it is a simple and natural bronzer that just gives you a slight sunkissed look. So if you are like me and don’t like those chalky brown bronzers then this is the one for you. You can also use the lighter shade if you want a very subtle highlight.
I then also tested out the NEW Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Lip Colours. I managed to get my hands on them from Feelunique. I am so happy that Rimmel came out with these new matte liquid lipsticks!
I got 5 different shades and with this look I used Be My Baby!
It’s a lovely nude shade. I find these lipsticks to creamy and not drying. They last long and have a very moussey consistency. There are lots of shades, mostly nudes. If you are a liquid lipstick lover then I highly recommend you trying them out!
The other shades I got were –
Fire Starter – Gorgeous Red Shade
Blush – Baby Pink Shade
Rose & Shine – a Darker Pink Shade
Pink Bliss – Lighter Pink Shade
Overall finished makeup look –
And the final product I shall be reviewing is the Eylure Body Tape – Pre Cut Adhesive Stripes. [This product was sent to me] They come in 2 shapes and in total you get 27 strips. I prefer the curved strips.
They stick on really well and last long too. If you are wearing a top that might not allow to wear a bra or a stick on bra I really recommend these as these are another alternative. They are easy to use, long lasting and you can use them more than once!
I hope you enjoyed reading this blog post! I really enjoyed writing this up and also creating this look! Thank you so much for reading it!
Have you ever tried out any of these products from Rimmel or Eylure? Comment down below!
Again, thank you to both Rimmel Malta and Eylure Malta for these wonderful products!
Until next time,
Today’s blog post is all about a Shimmery Makeup Look I created thanks to some products from Born Pretty Store.
Born Pretty Store is a website that sells a variety of products, from makeup to nail items and mobile accessories etc. I have made previous videos & blog posts about their website and you can check them out right here –
- Testing Out Born Pretty Store Cheap Makeup!
- TESTING OUT bornprettystore.com Cosmetics + 10% Discount Code
I also have a 10% DISCOUNT CODE that you could use at checkout and on non sale items – KEZZH10
I would like to thank Born Pretty Store for giving me yet another opportunity to collaborate with them!
The products I reviewed this time from their website were –
These retail for $2.59. I found that these brushes are a little small to apply any foundation or powder. I tried blending out my concealer which I liked how they blended it for me. And I also tried applying bronzer and highlight with them.
However, I didn’t get the finished effect I usually get with my other products. The highlight applied better than the bronzer but I think that these brushes look really cute on your vanity with their rhinestone packaging.
This retails for $3.99. I think these brushes are so cutely decorated with that perfect unicorn print. You get a brush for your brows, eyeliner, 2 flat brushes, a crease brush and a pointed brush perfect for the inner corner.
I loved these brushes more than the other face brushes of before. I found that the brow brush and eyeliner one applied the products well. There is no proper blending brush in this set however the flat brushes are great to work with. Overall I think you can get good use out of them and they are so cute too!
This retails for $2.59. I applied this not as a highlight but as my base colour on my eye look. So I applied it using the flat brush from the unicorn brush set.
I felt that this product was a little patchy when applied and took a little long to dry. However, I loved the finished effect and how it made my eye look pop even more!
These retail for $2.99. I found that these lashes were so easy to work with. The packaging they came in was really practical too.
I love how these applied and that they had a natural effect to them. They lasted long and when I applied mascara on them so to blend my real lashes with them, they stayed on really well. These are my favourite eye lashes that I have tried from born pretty store for sure!
This retails for $2.59. I loved the colour of this lipstick, it’s such a lovely deep pink shade. I love how it applied, it wasn’t patchy or flakey and it dried down to a complete matte finish.
I tried the kiss proof test, and the lipstick didn’t transfer. For only $2.59 I think these lipsticks are such a bargain!
The final look –
