Hi everyone, How are you all doing? Today’s blog post is all about my latest video Collab! I was so happy and excited to film this with my sweet friend Debbie from Distorted Priorities. We… More
Thank you so much for joining me yet again on my blog!
Today’s blog post is all about 3INA‘s latest collection entitled – THE UV COLLECTION!
I must say I was very excited to try out these products. I actually wore them when I went to the ISLE OF MTV as I think they’re perfect makeup items for when you find yourselves attending a festival!
Here is my video showing you guys how the products actually test out!
I will now share with you some after thoughts since I filmed that video.
3INA – The UV Collections (Limited Edition) – Products –
3INA The Fluoro Cream Eyeshadow – Shade 401 – €10.95
The shade 401 is a fluorescent orange which looks great on the eyes especially if you have lighter eyes! I found that it dried down quite fast however, you have to be patient with this product.
Go in with a steady hand and pat the product with a flat brush onto the lids. It does go a little patchy but in all honesty it won’t show much as you can see from my photos!
Be aware that this product will go on your lashes. Now this might have happened to me as I am no professional makeup artist and maybe I did not apply it correctly, but it went all over my lashes so I guess they were fluorescent as well. This was the product that was mostly fluorescent.
3INA The Fluoro Eye Pencil – €8.95
I LOVE this eye pencil. It might not show that it is fluorescent but I love how it applies. I found that with this product I didn’t have any problems when I applied it on my upper lash line.
It’s so creamy, applied so smoothly and wasn’t patchy at all. It also lasted a long time on my lids and the product didn’t transfer.
3INA The Fluoro Palette – €13.95
This blush comes in such a fun pink/orange shade and applies so nicely onto your skin. I didn’t find that it was fluorescent on my skin but when I swatched it, it was.
I have enjoyed using this product even on an everyday simple makeup look. Adding this blush to an everyday makeup look, will make your look even more interesting. And I also love the packaging of this product especially because it comes with a mirror.
3INA The Fluoro Lip Gloss – Shade 200 – €9.95
This Lip Gloss has such a sweet scent. It reminded me of sweets that I used to eat when I was a little girl! It applies smoothly and isn’t too sticky as well.
I liked the look it left me and again this doesn’t show to be fluorescent as much as the cream eyeshadow. It also lasts quite long!
So those were my overall thoughts on 3INA’s UV Collection! If you are in Malta, you can visit 3INA at PAMA, Qormi, Mosta, Valletta and the Point, Sliema.
Have you tried out any of these products? If so, let me know in the comments down below!

A few weeks ago I did a blog post all about 7th Heaven and spoke about the Manuka Honey Peel off mask. You can check it out right here.
Today, I shall be talking about the Dead Sea Mud Mask.
Unlike the other mask I tried, this was a Mud Mask which meant that it was going to be messier than peel off masks. But, I wasn’t disappointed by the end result that it left me with.
Minerals found in the Dead Sea help clean our impurities and open blocked pores for cleaner and softer skin. So I am all about unblocking those pores and getting rid of them!
The main ingredients found in this Mud Mask were –
Dead Sea Salt –
A mineral found in the Dead Sea. Dead sea minerals leave our skin feeling relaxed and nourished. I have tried multiple products from Arad which had it’s main ingredients from the Dead Sea. And I loved using their products, they did help my skin become cleaner.
The nutrients from the Dead Sea in this face mask help cleanse our pores, moisturise our skin and draw out any impurities, dirt and grime that we end up with because of today’s modern lifestyle.
Sea Kelp and Seaweed –
These are, “large algae which grow in the seas and oceans around the world, or on rocks below the high-water mark.” Seaweed is, “high in nutrients, is a fantastic detox agent and could even improve the health of your heart. This slimy green plant could be a vital part of your beauty regime.”
The Seaweed and Sea Kelp in the face mask helps with moisturising our skin, “whilst fighting the signs of aging, helping you banish those wrinkles for good.” It can also be seen as a natural exfoliant, and helps with washing away the dead skin cells to leave your skin, “feeling fresh, clean and renewed.”
Lavender is commonly used to treat skin disorders such as acne, wrinkles, psoriasis (which I am accustomed to!) and other inflammatory conditions.
Mud masks in general help with your daily cleansing routine in keeping your skin “super clean” and “less prone to blemishes and uneven skin tones.”
My thoughts –
I applied the Mud Mask after having cleansed my face with my Vichy Normaderm Facial Cleansing Gel.
I then applied the mask on a dry face using a flat foundation brush. I left the mask on for approximately 45 minutes. I KNOW I should have only left the mask on for 15 minutes as that it what it states I should do but it felt so cooling on my face I just wanted to leave it on. That and I was watching an episode of Saving Hope that I couldn’t pause it until it was finished!
But I really love how it left my skin looking so clean and so smooth. Throughout the day I felt my skin feeling refreshed and healthier. I do really recommend this mask and I prefer this one over the Honey Peel off that I tried before!

This week I uploaded a video all about Primark Makeup. Back in April I picked up some products in the hopes of making a video and a blog post like this … so here goes!
You can watch the video right here of me applying Primark makeup and you can see all my first reactions of the products too.
Now I shall be writing a little about each of these products, after having tried them on other occasions and saw how long they lasted.
Products I bought –
Primark Liquid Foundation – Shade – Cool Sand – £2.50
I did not like the smell of this foundation, it reminded me of sunscreen. It is a very water based formula and applies well with a foundation brush. If your skin is not prepped well then this foundation will bring out your pores so much and create cake face.
It states that it is a medium coverage foundation. I find that to not be true, I believe it is more of a light coverage. It is an oil free formula and it dries to a semi matte finish. After having applied this product more than once, I have noticed that when it dries to the point it can, it still leaves my face feeling sticky. Nothing some powder cannot fix, but still that’s a point I wanted to share.
Was it worth the £2.50 overall? Meh, but I prefer this than the stick foundation.
Primark Foundation Stick – Shade – Sand – £2
I got this in the WRONG shade. But funnily enough it blended nicely on the skin and it didn’t look that dark on me, as you can see in the video. It’s texture is quite thick, so you need to blend it well or else it will look so cakey on the skin.
Primark Stick Concealer – Shade – Ivory – £0.90
For only 90p I LOVED this concealer. I think it blended nicely, even though my under eye lines were still a little visible. But it settled nicely and lasted long too. I mean for only 90p I would say it’s a good enough result.
Primark Mattifying Pressed Powder – Shade – Sand – £2
At first I thought that this powder wasn’t going to blend well into the skin but after using my brush and brushing it into my skin, it blended well. I liked the after effect that this powder gave on my skin and after using this product it did not leave my skin feeling sticky.
I think it’s a good enough powder for only £2!
Primark Bronze Glow Bronzing Powder – Sundipped – £2
I love this bronzer, I have used it multiple times since I filmed this video. It is a lovely chalky brown, very natural and settles so nicely onto the skin.
I have enjoyed using this to create a sunkissed look.
Primark Strobe and Glow Cream Highlighting Palette – £4
So the formula of this product is quite water-y and sticky … maybe Kylie Jenner stole the idea from Primark when she created her Wet Set of highlighters? I don’t know as I don’t have that Wet Set but this highlighting palette reminded me of that.
Besides the formula, I liked how the highlights stayed on my skin. They aren’t that pigmented so you would need to go back and forth to create the highlight that you crave. But I like the effect of these highlights. Do I think it was worth £4 from Primark? No.
Primark PRO Tight Lining Pen – £3
This was a FAIL and it was £3! I tried tight lining with it and nothing comes out. It’s so strange as when I swatch the pencil on my hand, the product comes out and there’s a lovely black line but then when I come to using it on my eyes … NOTHING.
I tried creating a cat eye look, shaking it, pressing when I applied it but still not enough product was coming out. Therefore, this is such a FAIL!!
Primark Volumising Mascara – £1
I love this mascara. It doesn’t add volume to my lashes but it does lengthen them and separates them really well. And it lasts long and the product does not transfer on my lids! For only a POUND this product is GREAT!
Primark Lip Liner Pencil – £1 in Desert Sand
I love the shade this lip liner comes in. It’s a cute peachy pink. It applies really well and lasts long on the lips. It isn’t that patchy and it isn’t drying as well. Again, for a pound I think this product passed my test.
Primark Long Lasting Lipstick – £2.50
I don’t know what the name of this shade of the lipstick I got is but I like the colour. It is a purple pink dark shade. It isn’t patchy and the colour applies well. The shape of the bullet lipstick made it easier to apply on my lips.
It didn’t last long as I had to retouch it throughout the day but I don’t hate it. Would I buy it again? I don’t think so as you can find other options from the drugstore.
Those were the products I tried and here is the finished makeup look that I created during the video –
Overall, Primark makeup are packaged so nicely, and some items are hits whilst others are total fails. I quite enjoyed testing these out and I guess we all wanna save a little.
In my opinion you should try and get yourselves to Primark, if you live in the UK or anywhere else that has Primark; and try out their range of makeup. You might be surprised what you can find at such a little price!

I am coming with a very exciting blog post all about the upcoming Essence Autumn/Winter 2017 collection!
Here are some of the products that you will be seeing on the Essence stands in the coming Autumn/Winter months!! I am only mentioning the products that intrigued me as the collection will include many other products that I have not written about in this blog post!
Also I have NOT tried out the products yet as these haven’t been released yet! But I hope to be able to pick some up when the products will be released and will hopefully come back and update you on how the products tested out!
Disclaimer – Last but not least Pictures are all thanks to Cosnova Beauty as I am on the Blogger Distribution List.
Metal shock eyeshadow
Creamy, highly pigmented eyeshadows that will light up the eyes with a fascinating metallic look. Colours with glitter particles will also be available. There will be 7 different shades and I am so excited to get my hands on these!
Here is a little sneak peak of some of the shades –
The Rain or Shine Eye & Face palette & The Superpower! Eye & Face palette
The two “eye & face” palettes will be coming in a cool metal box. The “rain or shine” version will have holographic pastel shades while the “Superpower!” palette will unite light, colourful shades.
The Superlast Eyeliner
This eyeliner will be focusing on long durability. Essence wrote that, “with a hybrid of silicon and flock applicator, the eyeliner can be applied with just one stroke”.
There will be 3 different eyeliners in this formula – Matt Black, Deep Black and Waterproof
Cannot wait to test this out!
Three NEW Mascaras!!
As you know I LOVE Essence mascaras!! They will be releasing 3 new mascaras!
1 – The Instant Volume Boost Mascara (smudge-proof and intense black)
The intensive black mascara will allow for maximum lash volume. The volume brush will consist of flower-shaped fibers. Application will just take ten seconds!
2 – The Instant Volume Boost Mascara (smudge-proof and waterproof)
This will provide us with lots of volume that will last all day and is waterproof, too!
3 – The #Lashes of the Day Super Volume Mascara
This will help us achieve perfectly curled lashes for a gorgeous look. Also, what cute packaging!!
Superlast 24h Eye Brow Pomade Pencil
In the Shade Blonde
It is said to be waterproof, creamy and it will be a twistable eye brow pomade pencil to shape and emphasise the brows. This will come with an integrated sharpener and silicon brush.
I have never ever seen anything like this. This will be a, ‘cool eyebrow pen with a text marker look.’ It will be longlasting (on the marker it says ‘semi permanent’!) thanks to its tint effect, so it will accentuate the brows accurately and intensively.
Correct to Perfect CC Multi-benefit Pearls
These multi-functional pearls will help even out any skin irregularities and ensure a flawless skin tone. I never tried anything like this so I am curious how this product will test out!
Strobing & Contouring Palette
Essence will be releasing this contouring palette! It will include TEN creamy shades that you will be able contour or highlight with.
Brighten up! Banana Powder
This will be a, “translucent, mattifying powder” which will come in a very soft yellow; and is ideal for the “concealer baking” technique, or for setting “matt highlights”.
The Fresh & Fit Awake Primer
You will be able to use this either solo or with foundation underneath. It will come with a light texture with light-reflecting pigments which will ensure a smoother, fresher complexion and will help extend the durability of make-up. It includes vitamins and cranberry water.
The Fresh & Fit Awake Make-up
“Enriched with a vitamin complex and cranberry water”, the foundation “wakes up” the skin and will give it a healthy look. It will include delicate light reflecting pigments that will ensure a smooth complexion with a fresh touch. It will come in 4 shades.
Holo Rainbow Nail Polish
Five new nail polishes will be released with a holographic look and glitter particles! I would love to try these out!
Vibrant Shock Lip Paint
Cool colours like blue, pink and grey with velvety-matt results and a non-sticky texture. Here is a sneak peak of 3 of the 6 upcoming shades!
The Ultra Last Instant Colour Lipstick
I love ESSENCE lipsticks, their matte range is amazing!! This lipstick range will have 20 NEW shades. The lipstick will come with a creamy texture is longlasting and won’t dry out the lips.
Super Beauty Sponge
With its unique shape, the sponge is said to be ideal for the application of powder, foundation, primer, blush and cream – even in those hard-to-reach areas. Am curious to try this out and see whether my beauty blender will be replaced by this one!
Time to Clean Face Cleansing Brush
The brush will come with soft bristles, and will help in gently removing make-up and cleansing the skin down to the pores – for a natural, fresh face. I would love to test this out!!
I hope you enjoyed this post and are getting excited for the upcoming items from Essence!!
Which item do you want to try out the most?
Thank you so much for reading!!
I hope you are all having a lovely week and a great SUMMER! Here in Malta, it is boiling hot to the point that I get scared when I know that I will have to drive my car round 10 am until 5 pm! My car isn’t Malta Summer Friendly!
As Summer has fully arrived, the UV rays become more harmful to our skin. Therefore, we need to get our sun protection on! I have recently started using the Ideal Soleil Anti Sand sun cream from Vichy which has SPF 50.
Now I do not quite fancy sun creams or sunblocks – they are always so sticky (but it is very IMPORTANT that you apply it during the SUMMER TIME). And if you are like me and first you apply your makeup and then apply suns cream, then forget the time that you worked on your look, because it usually will get messed up by the sunblock.
However, recently I have been given the opportunity to try out the Ideal Soleil Anti Sand sun lotion from VICHY. I found that the product didn’t leave me with a sticky feeling thanks to its non-sticky formula and just blended nicely into the skin. Which meant, that even though you may have put on some makeup before and then you would apply this product after – it wouldn’t leave you all patchy and white! It blends ever so nicely into the skin, even with makeup on!
A little information about the product –
Like I said it has SPF50 and protects us from UVA and UVB rays. It has a ‘sensorial texture’ which helps in the product being gentler and more effective on the skin. Also. this lotion may be applied on any skin type including sensitive skin. It is Paraben free and Hypoallergenic.
It includes Vichy Mineralising Water, which is a water-resistant formula that helps in keeping the skin moisturised and hydrated. It also protects the skin from becoming damaged by the sun’s rays.
It has a ‘lightweight texture’ that helps the skin in absorbing it without leaving a ‘greasy residue.’ This products also entails to be an Anti-Sand lotion as it has an ‘ultra-dry finish’ which helps the skin to easily brush sand off.
How to apply –
Simply apply this before being exposed to the sun. And then keep reapplying it frequently to maintain protection from the sun especially after swimming.
My thoughts –
When using this product I found that it worked well with my skin. Like I said the product is easy to rub into the skin and it barely shows on the skin except for a little glimmer.
What I loved the most about the product was it’s unique Sun Lotion scent. As most sun creams have that common scent. However, this one had a lovely fresh scent to it.
When applying it to the skin it feels refreshing and hydrating. I also tried it at a sandy beach and was impressed by how little bits of sand stuck onto the skin. Therefore, this is a perfect product for those who DISLIKE any sand that gets stuck all over their bodies!
It protected me from the sun’s rays and didn’t leave me with that sticky-icky feeling! It has become my new BEST FRIEND for the beach!
Have you ever tried out this product? If not, are you intrigued by it? Comment down below!!
Thank you so much for reading and don’t forget – Protect your skin from the sun!
Hi lip lovers,
Look who’s back with a LIPSTICK blog post? MEE!!
As you know, or if you don’t, I love love LOVE lipsticks! They are my favourite makeup products!
Beauty Big Bang ever so kindly sent me these six Metallic Lipsticks to try out. You can check out my video which shows you how they applied and how they swatched onto my lips.
Here are my thoughts –
Firstly, I love the packaging they come in. The tubes are made up of rose gold packaging and that was already a win for me. They all have this sweet sweet scent that reminds me of the Milani Amore Matte Lip Cremes.
The lighter shades I found that they weren’t as pigmented as the darker shades when applied on the lips on their own. BUT when I applied a matte lipstick and then applied Candy Champagne on top I simply loved the effect.
Now this I didn’t do on camera but if you follow my Facebook Page then you would have seen what makeup look I created last weekend. And indeed I applied the Milani Amore Matte Lip Creme in the shade Sweetie. I let that dry and then I applied the Candy Champagne shade from BeautyBigBang and I loved the effect!
What I also noted from the lipsticks was that they are a little bit sticky when applied onto the lips. Therefore, applying a lip balm to moisture your lips beforehand will help decrease the sticky effect.
The lipsticks last long and do not transfer. They do dry down to a matte finish. The glitters of course of the lipstick does transfer, but they’re glitters so I really don’t mind that!
I think that these lipstick are worth trying out especially now that there are so much Festivals going on and you want to create that Mermaid and Sparkled look!
The shades mentioned (In the same order as they appeared on the video) –
Shade #32 – Chill Mauve
Shade #36 – Rose Gold On Acid
Shade #31 – Candy Champagne
Shade #34 – Stripper Pink
Shade #35 – Delirium Purple
Shade #33 – Cloud Pink/Blue
Which shade was your favourite? Comment down below!!
